the food tastes great. we pickup drive through way more than we should, However every time we come here, we ask for extra canes sauce and they never put it in the bag. They charge us 35 cents a sauce but they never give it to us. After several times not getting the extra sauce we asked for, i started asking at the window to make sure and every time they assure us its in the boxes but so far its been missing every time. If i wait until i get to the pickup window to order extra sauce, they get annoyed and make me run my card again. I dont understand why its so inconvenient for them to put sauce in the bag. Raising Cane's is a great place to eat if you're a chicken finger fan. Their Cane's Sauce is delicious to use with the chicken or the fries. Our family really enjoys the Texas Toast, which has a tasty garlic flavor. We aren't huge coleslaw people, so we always substitute toast for coleslaw. It's always hot and yummy, so you should definitely check it out! read more

This is the first time I have tried this restaurant chain. It's pretty good. The tenders are very good (they better be, it's all they do), the Cane sauce is good, and the fries are good. If able I would rate this three and a half stars. Four is really too much. I would prefer a much better seasoning mix on the tenders and a spicy version. It's too far away for me to come here with any regularity, and many places have tenders that are just as good that are closer. Raising canes is one my favorite places to eat are used to always eat at the 135th St. location and it's always good. I just moved near the Shawnee location and tried this new were location tonight I received my food so quick it was questionable as to why it was so fast but now I know pond check my food it's cold as ice probably old. This is our favorite chicken shop in my neighborhood, well, the neighborhood over. We like the way the strips are cooked, the Cane sauce, tea and Coke products, fries, and coke slaw. The employees are really friendly. We like the fact the restaurant is based off the founder's relationship with his Labrador. Some may not like the lack of variety of sauces, but we've found ourselves here at least once a month since it opened and my parents are hooked, too. read more

As much as I love Raising Cane's and I firmly believe it's the best "chicken strip fast food chain" (including Zaxby's, Slim Chicken's, etc.); this location is odd for a few reasons. First of all, they stuck it in a really tight, super busy corner with an outer road between it and Shawnee Mission Parkways (so it makes getting in and out awkward as all get out). Secondly, it's so cramped that the drive through line can be long enough around lunch to where cars waiting to get in block the road trying to get out (exceptionally poor planning on some architect's part). And the parking lot seems a lot smaller than what you'd want for a place that seems pretty popular. All that being said, it's still the best fast food chickens strips, with great fries, the best garlic toast, and the best mayo/ketchup/pepper/Worcestershire sauce out there. Pro tip: Try to beat the lunch/dinner rushes as the drive through packs up right at noon and also at dinner at 5PM. read more

The chicken is awesome. I don't usually like fast food chicken joints so I wasn't excited to eat here but I appeased my husband. There isn't a ton on the menu -- just a few options. I ate the sandwich and it was SO GOOD and it was very reasonably priced. Two adult combo meals and a kids meal was $20. It is odd though that it smells like actual livestock is present. Not sure if they defeather their own birds but the smell was not my favorite. I did like the atmosphere. I had the three chicken tender box. The chicken was flavorless and the special sauce didn't really add anything to the party. The Texas toast was horrible and stale tasting. Super rude customer service! I drive up at 3 min until closing. I hear a guy mumbling something, I asked what he said and he said chicken chicken what combo u pickin? (In a super annoyed voice ) i then tried to tell him I wanted the box combo but he waited until 11 to say oh we are closed now ! We are out of food ! I said " really can I just order I got here before 11 "he said "nope we are out of food "! I then had to wait behind another car while they got their food when I drove towards the window to get out of the parking lot the employee locked the window real quick and ran to the back as if he was hiding or something ! I think it's hilarious that there are critical reviews of this place considering it's brand new and it's a chain restaurant that literally carries maybe 6 products total. Chicken strips, bread, french fries, coleslaw, lemonade, and iced tea. Did I miss anything? I don't think so. The bottom line is that the sauce is the bomb. I wish they advertised and offered coupons. I don't really care for the price. On the other hand it is a quality, hand-breaded, chicken strip. It's not going to be as cheap as a mixed box of chicken from churches which includes less desirable thighs and wings. We enjoyed our visit to the newly opened location. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and most importantly the food was outstanding. Chicken tenders were moist and they pair perfectly with their canes sauce, the bread was fresh and the sweet tea was out of this world. I'm from the south and I'm particular about my tea. Chicken fingers are very small for two meals 10 pcs , fries and soft drinks and spending over $20 for the size of the chicken tenders are definitely not worth any value I just paid. Waited over 15 minutes in drive thru to just get tenders just double the size of mc nuggets at 4 times the cost. Very disappointed!!!! Just finished lunch - chicken was moist and tender and the breading was light buts that's about it for positive thought. On a scale of one to ten I thought the chicken was less than one, and adding the sauce brought the level up to a one. Fries and Texas toast were middle of the road. Tried Dr Pepper and Diet Coke - both needed more syrup - not much flavor just like the chicken and sauce. Won't be going back soon. read more

Typically, the service is great however I'm DEFINITELY not a fan of not getting my entire order THEN after saying I'm waiting on one more box of food to complete my order and wait in the drive thru for 5 minutes only to have the drive thru cashier get her manager and ask basically ask me why I'm still there. I'M WAITING ON THE FOOD I PAID FOR, that I have YET TO RECEIVE....duh!!!
