This is the sushi deluxe: 9 pieces of nigiri, a spicy tuna roll, and soup or salad for $27. With delivery and a side of ponzu it came to $42--no complaints on pricing. I'll admit, I expected this to be pretty mediocre, which is why I waited to try it. But honestly? Not bad at all. The spicy tuna roll felt a little off--rice to fish ratio wasn't right--but the nigiri was surprisingly good. Nice sheen, fresh quality, and enjoyable overall This is a solid neighborhood option. I wouldn't travel out of my way, but if you're nearby you could do a lot worse. Want more sushi breakdowns? Check out The Raw Report on TikTok, where I cover NYC sushi takeout and delivery.

Was craving sushi and this hit the spot! The special rolls were big and packed with fish. Most importantly, the fish was fresh. We came in a Monday night so it was pretty quiet but service was fast and we got our food pretty quickly. Overall would come back if I was craving fresh and affordable sushi! Next time I would like to try their lunch deals.

    Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box
    Jessica Y.

One of my new favorite places! I ordered a bento box for takeout and it was just as delicious as I imagine it would be if I were to sit down at the restaurant! The bento box came with so much food and at a reasonable price! I got chicken teriyaki that came with vegetables and rice (white or brown). It also comes with soup or salad, appetizer, sushi roll, and a choice of drink. I got the tuna avocado, gyoza, and salad. It came with so many pieces of gyoza as opposed to the normal 3 or 4 that you see at other restaurants. The tuna avocado roll was delicious, stuffed with fish and the fish was very fresh. Definitely recommend!

Chicken pho made with vegetable broth

Small, cute place. Very easy to find and LOVED that they accommodated and suggested veggie broth, since I don't eat pork, to go with my chicken ramen. The broth itself was very tasty - real flavor not just a bunch of salt and the chicken has the perfect sear and was moist and tender.

I ordered a sushi entree with the spicy tuna roll off of DoorDash. It was a lil more pricey than other sushi locations but the quality was better. The sushi rolls offer a good rice to protein ratio, packed with protein. Overall this was very filling and yummy!

    Spicy Tuna Sandwich Signature Roll

So good!! We came on a Monday night and there was only one other party here for sit-down. Seems like more people do takeout from here. The signature rolls were fairly priced. I went with the Spicy Tuna Sandwich Signature Roll. I definitely didn't expect it to be just like a sandwich but that was a fun take on it. The roll was just a bit hard to eat cause it was pretty big but the fish was good! Service was super quick. Definitely give this place a try!

    Love Boat Special

I would give this place 6 stars if it was possible. High quality sushi at a reasonable price. Small touches like making fresh wasabi, presentation, etc. Opted for the love boat special which is perfect for two people. Came with the best California Roll I've ever had, as well as thick and sizeable sashimi, and delicious sushi. Went here two days in a row, and even back home now in the west coast, still thinking about how great the food was. Small, cozy, and friendly service. I can't wait to return.

    Katsu Don

I was really in the mood for some Katsu Don, but a lot of places put way too much sauce in it. I decided to give this place a chance. Came perfectly not too much sauce. Perfect amount. The Katsu was still a little crispy, even though they have egg all over it. It was perfect.!!! Did I mention I ordered it for delivery which was even better. Usually the delivery comes lukewarm, but it came hot and I loved it!!! The delivery person was also so nice and said thank you for once. I wonder if the delivery person works for Raku. I will definitely order from this restaurant again . Thank you for the perfect Katsu Don!

Thank you for the amazing sushi delivery last night! I ordered 4 rolls and miso soup and I was very full and very happy. Delivery was super fast too!

This chicken katsu far exceeded my expectations. It was soo good. It was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the chicken katsu entree which came with a house green salad and a yummy carrot ginger dressing. The portion size was fantastic especially for not having asked for extra protein. They did not skimp. The breading was really nice and not overdone. It was well flavored. Very satisfied with this meal.

Great service and excellent, fresh sushi. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back and check out some other stuff on the menu.

    Shrimp Shumai
    Sydney H.

Ordered delivery - it was alright but didn't think it was anything special. The prices are decent for sushi in NYC and it came quickly. The sashimi platter had somewhat small pieces of fish but they seemed fairly fresh. Not melt-in-your-mouth, but again decent for the price. The shumai were very standard, and hijiki salad was good. Overall, not bad but not great.

    Spicy Ramen
    Deron R.

I came in at lunch and the there was one other patron there. The restaurant had kind of a funky smell. It did not smell fresh. However, I was hungry and I got the spicy ramen with pork which was pretty darn good. It was serve, piping hot and the tasted that nice. Service was typical. Nothing new to right here. Next time I'll probably get to go.

Save room for dessert for the huge shaved ice in all sorts of flavors. We had to wait for our whole party to arrive before we were seated. After that, the service was really fast and helpful. I usually order spicy ramen at most ramen spots, so that's what I went with my first time here. Big mistake. The spicy ramen really takes away from the depth of flavor. If you actually want to appreciate the broth, the classic ramen is the way to go. You can always add spicy oil yourself. A few things could definitely be improved. For an upscale ramen spot in the heart of NYC, I was surprised the tap water was straight-up lukewarm. Nobody wants lukewarm water after eating a piping-hot bowl of ramen. I'd also avoid the bar seating if you can. The seats aren't very comfortable, especially if your back tends to get tight from sitting hunched over. Another small but surprisingly annoying issue is the front door, it doesn't have a slow-close mechanism, so it's constantly slamming shut. Depending on where you're sitting, it can get pretty loud and distracting while you're trying to eat. On the positive side, the service was great. The staff was attentive, and the food came out incredibly quickly after ordering, which I really appreciated. The ambiance definitely fits the upscale NYC ramen vibe without feeling overly fancy. You don't need to dress up, casual clothes are completely fine. I'll definitely be back, classic ramen next time, no question.

Every meal I had from the chicken baos to my ramen was jaw dropping. I wish I could just snap my fingers and have their ramen right in front of me. You know a soul is delicious when you don't have to add extra sauces or spices. It's a tight place so not the best for large parties. However the decorations and overall feel of the place is welcoming. I will say, the drinks too a bit long to come out and they were super expensive. One drink was $20 I believe. Which is more than the ramen itself haha I wouldn't go here for drinks cause you'll end up spending a ton of money. Save your thirst for somewhere else but bring the eats cause you'll love all the food !

We started with the pork belly appetizer which was recommended and stated on the menu indicating it's their featured dish. It was the biggest disappointment as it was extremely fatty with large chunks of fat, while the lean portions were dry. It didn't look very appetizing. The dumplings were just okay--they had decent flavor but I was hoping for a crispier texture. I ordered the Zebra Ramen. The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, but the broth was much saltier than I would have preferred. The pat of butter felt unnecessary and made the broth overly rich without adding much depth. The chashu was on the small side and also quite fatty and I assume it's the same as the appetizer but was sliced instead of in large chunks. The marinated egg had good flavor, although the yolk was a little more cooked than I typically like. Another thing is the pork belly appetizer came with an egg. I wish the server would tell us so we didn't have to add it to our ramen with an extra charge. The nori was also completely soggy by the time it reached our table. Overall, the noodles were the only highlight of the meal and the rest were very underwhelming. It's definitely not a place I would recommend.

This spot delivers the kind of authentic paitan that reminds you why people used to line up on cold sidewalks just for a bowl. I ordered the Paitan Ramen Deluxe, and it genuinely lives up to the name. The broth is silky, rich, and comforting without being overly salty which is exactly what a proper paitan should be. The bowl comes loaded: tender shredded chicken, seared chashu, marinated soft-boiled eggs, fresh scallions, bamboo shoots, and a sheet of nori that ties everything together. Every topping tastes intentional, not just filler. The texture balance is what really stands out fatty chashu that melts, shredded chicken with real flavor, and noodles that hold up beautifully in the broth. You can taste the care in the soup base; it has depth, not just heat or salt. If you loved Totto Ramen back in the day, this feels like its modern successor same spirit, new precision. Toribro isn't trying to reinvent ramen which they're just doing it right. And in NYC, that alone makes it worth a visit.
