We have been standing at the deli counter for a full ten minutes while there are 3 people behind the counter and only one of those people is actually helping customers. The price for the old, tiny pieces of fried chicken is absurd. This place is ridiculous. One star for the one, small dark haired lady who was running around doing everything and actually helped us. read more

I have a Ralph's about 2 blocks away from me, and I don't like shopping there, the customer service is weak, there is no cleanliness, the goods are limited. So I go all the way to the Ralph's on magnolia, I use to shop there when I lived in that side of town. I got up this early morning and decided I was going to try the one on Woodman/Sherman way. Well can I say I was blown away I live the fresh produce, helpful staff, and it was clean which I find very important. I tried to tell the manager but she to was making sure all was running great and helping out in the checkout line. While I was there I had to let my roommate know this is the place to go. Five stars for friendly employees. Four stars for cleanliness. One star sometimes or two stars other times for them actually having things in stock. So many times they are out of produce including things like arugula, squash, bell peppers that aren't rotting. They are out of bakery items and waters a lot too. Also, there just isn't an amazing selection of everything because it's a smaller store. If they weren't always out of stuff this would be a solid four star review. read more

I would give 2 negative stars if I could! When I walked by a manager drinking coffee with no mask I asked why he didn't have a mask on? His reply was it's in my pocket, I said you should have it on. Snarky , he replied I'm drinking my coffee is that ok!! Then upon my exit he's talking to other employees not six feet apart, still no mask I told him I would never be back because of him!! Someone in the store tried to get me to buy coupons in exchange for $20 in grocery store gift cards. I don't need to waste paper and spend my free time clipping coupons-- that is $10 for a subscription, much less. I am happy using my rewards card and coupon apps on my phone. That same man was pushy. And he kept trying to get me to buy coupons. As I was walking away, he said something that really hurt: "What about when you're married and have kids? You'll want to save money for them! Better practice now!" What if I don't want children? What if, god-forbid, I can't have children? And even if I did get married and have kids, what the hell makes you think that I'm just going to quit the career I've been working hard on for the past few years just to stay home and clip coupons for them? I'm so disappointed in people like these. read more

This Ralph's blows. Its pretty when you walk in, but don't be fooled. Cashiers engage bi lingual customers in spanish, for loooooong periods of time (having personal conversations), and leave other customers to wait, while they chuckle and look on. Its fine to speak your native tongue, I have no problem with that. However, when it alienates other patrons, THAT AINT RITE!!!! Also, the self checkout NEVER WORKS RIGHT, and everything is re aranged all the time. Security patrols the liqour isle. This store simply doesn't win. That is all... read more

I just had a awful experience at this Ralph's and it's terrible because I shop at this location quite a bit as it is closest to my home, I had just gotten off work and wanted to grab a few snacks before heading home for the night, I had my backpack on as I always do when shopping at Ralph's so I don't have to buy a bag and it had never been a problem. Nobody ever stopped me nothing it wasn't a problem until tonight the "security guard" at the front door (older white women) stopped me after I had walked past her and said I needed to get my backpack checked by management and I was like I've never had to do that before... she said they were under new management and that was the rule now and Im kinda like I'm literally just entering how could I steal anything from outside the store and she's like you just have to do it so I gave in and returned my backpack to my car and on the way to my car I saw a white guy exiting with a backpack and I asked if he had to have his backpack checked at all and he said no so obviously I'm feeling some kinda way now about this particular store. The best thing about this Ralph's is the manager. But while she was on break, I watched some cholo walk out with a bunch of stuff. Told the employees, and all they said was "really?". Literally, their only words, within 5 seconds of him walking out. So, if you want to go grocery shopping and walk out with a bunch of stuff without getting in trouble, this is the place! I just saved a whole lot of money by going to Ralph's and not paying for a thing because they do not care! I'll tell you how much I love this Ralphs Market at the corner of Sherman Way and Woodman. I avoid it by driving all the way to Studio City to shop in the Ralphs at the corner of Ventura and Vineland. Some really down-and-out looking people camp out right in front of the entrance to the store, 24/7. They have their bed rolls and shopping carts full of junk with them, and they're just hanging out there, sitting on the ground with their backs against the wall, sometimes panhandling, often sleeping. This is a completely inappropriate environment for a grocery store. read more

This Ralphs has a wonderful fresh selection of produce, vegetables, fresh fruits. I can't say enough about their deli section either! Also it must be said and known...the best fried chicken anywhere in L.A. County is Ralphs fried chicken. It is juicy and tender crispy and satisying and healthy too!! I love the warm staff and they really do their very best to make customers happy and feel like they are at home. Mike, the general manager of the store sure is a swell guy and has done some wonderful things with the store. Marianne is one fine lady as well always on top of things at the front of the store. The deli always has such a fine variety of deli cuts, cheeses and salads. Also, the wine selection is not to be overlooked. Every wine known to man is at this Ralphs with such a wide variety. And before I forget, this particular Ralphs has markdowns every day on perfectly delicious items I truly can't say enough about this market and the folks who work there. We will continue to be dedicated to shopping at this Ralphs! read more

For the most part I never have any issues with shopping here. The produce is not always up to par. I love when a grocery store has a really amazing salad bar and fruits. They carry the formula my baby uses and it's actually cheaper here then target and Walmart so that's my number one reason for coming. Not many vegan options but it's always nice and clean read more

I hate coming here because they don't have enough items. They do have some basic stuff but for the most part they lack quality and service. Their produce is the pits. I avoid this place when ever possible. I started to drive farther just to get good produce and quality service. There are always people begging for crap outside of the door too. Horrible customer service. Went to deli to get potato wedges and there was none. Deli person said he would get some made but it will be 4 minutes and I said ok. I'll be back. Came back. No wedges. Another deli person says let me check for you and proceeds to ask a younger woman from the back who then yells at him saying they are all out of potato wedges. Not sure why the first deli person would tell me to wait 4 minutes for new ones. And when I told the deli person that and I pointed to the other guy at the deli who told me to wait. He just said nonchalantly "sorry" and moved on to the next person waiting. Didn't even try to ask me if I wanted something else. Don't really care about the wedges just very bad service. read more

Overpriced, jammed packed parking lot, meat selection and deli are lacking but overall clean and friendly store, if the meat selections would vastly improve I'd have a reason to shop here more the once a month but as is they just don't have anything I need at reasonable prices. read more

Love Ralphs but just recently moved here and this is the closest location. It is very ghetto, people always asking for money or selling something. The other people there are very rude and annoying but the employees are at least nice. Fast check out and it is a decent size Ralphs. Dont like their meat selection like other Ralphs but it is the most convenient Ralphs. read more

Always packed. Can't get down aisles because the lines for checkout are so long. Took me 30 minutes to check out on a Monday evening at 830 because there were only two registers open and the checkout lines ran down the entire store. read more

This Ralph's doesnt have as much stuff as the one nearby on BurbankAve but what it DOES have is awesome staff. I live close and I go almost every other day for one thing or another and I really like the people that work here. I hate grocery shopping. With that being said I would much rather go to Fresh and Easy than here. Especially this location. On a saturday night this place is a joke. They close all the self help lines and have one available cashier to help all the red eyed patrons. It's ridiculous. They never seem to have what I want there. read more

They remodeled this place so it looks a lot better. The parking lot can get packed in the afternoons as they share the parking lot with other businesses. Service is a hit and miss. read more

This has been my Ralph's for the last 6 years and today for the first time I felt treated less than. I don't know how long GARY has been here but he's not a happy person. My 1 year old and I usually have such a pleasant time checking out but this guy wouldn't look anyone in the eye and basically scolded me on how to use the atm machine. He said where is your card ? And he had no idea that the atm machine already had prompted me to remove my card. GARY, I know how to use the machine. I may be Latina but that doesn't mean I dont speak English or know how to use the damn machine. I hope you find happiness in your life. Wow. This is by far the worst grocery store I've ever been to. Homeless people just camp right outside begging for money and management does nothing about it even when people bring it to their attention. Also, their "cleaning product" straight up smells like vomit. I live right around the corner and I will never come back here. read more

I always shop at Ralphs my favorite market. The workers are always kind and so helpful when I am looking for something. I love there sales they have. They always have organized and clean market when I shop there which I liked. Always fresh fruits and veggies. Passing the cooked fried chicken next to the fruit and veggies aisle make me hungry. I never had any problems shopping at Ralphs I loved going for the food and wonderful employees services to the customer. read more
