I really enjoyed my coffee from here. I ordered regular drip coffee and it was so smooth and nice. The barista was by himself and he was friendly and helpful. This is a small cafe, and I got mine as a take out. Highly recommend this place! read more

Came by for coffee and a pastry the other morning and it was a decent experience. Service was quick in a typical New York fashion. Started off with a croissant and it was excellent. The croissant was slightly crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. My latte was decent although it was even better on previous visits. Temperature was decent and espresso was ok. There are a couple of seats available with a specific no laptop signage by the seats. read more

A little hidden coffee shop adjacent to the Dunkin. Eclectic interior but a very well stocked pastry case and extensive coffee menu. I grabbed an almond milk latte and the coffee is strong! Just how I like it!! The pastry case offers a large offering of items I have not heard before. The price and size are very reasonable able. Limited indoor seating. Casual. Good service. A much better alternative to Dunkin and it is conveniently located next door. It is super cute and has some seating available. I really loved the decorations. The matcha was pretty good, I was able to add some honey which made it not too sweet. The pastries was light and fluffy and I truly enjoyed it. Would definitely be coming back. read more

I love this coffee shop! The oatmeal raisin cookie is the best I've had in the city!! I usually come here to get the chocolate chip cookies that he was sold out! The coffee is strong and delicious! They also have a very good Moroccan mint green tea. The service is always great. They sometimes sell out of the baked goods. Go early. Definitely a favorite go to spot. Delicious goodies and the atmosphere is cool to chill out and have a conversation with a friend. Can't wait to return. Definitely recommend, it's one of my all-time favorite go- to spots! read more

Ramini is definitely a local, small business coffee shop with a cozy environment. It gives that Moroccan coffee vibe so you can kick back, relax and enjoy the food, coffee and friendly service they have to offer. Their Kyoto is really good. I enjoy getting their cold brew every morning. The first sip of the coffee is so distinct and tasty. I definitely recommend this spot. Forget about dunkin next door, check out some authentic coffee ! read more

I have been buying pastries here for years and never thought to write a review. I've probably tried them all and personally recommend blueberry bread, lemon poppy seed, vanilla, brownie, cookies. The neighborhood has dozens of places but I love the plants and odd decorations - it's charming. The owner is generally behind the counter and the service is amazingly quick. read more

Visiting NYC and wanted something other than the hotel drip coffee. A quick yelp search showed this gem only a block away. I was drawn to it because the name reminded me of an old friend who left this world too soon who had the same last name. The owner was warm and welcoming and the coffee was phenomenal. The space has a cool, warehouse vibe. I asked for a light caramel oat latte and he made it perfectly! The caramel is house made too - none of that processed syrup here. They also had a great selection of pastries, some of which I had never heard of before. So I had to throw the carbs and calories aside and try one. I can't recall the name but it was like a mini croissant filled w olive and cheese sprinkled w sesame seeds. It was delicious!! I was craving a good almond milk latte and this place came up. All I can say now its my go to place when im craving a good latte. Not good. Average or bad coffee, and definitely not good espresso. I've been a few times because of the reviews and they aren't accurate. The place is really nice but you can't enjoy it because there is no where to sit. The coffee was burnt once and average or bad other times. The espresso is NOT GOOD. Served in paper cup and hard to finish. I still gave stars because the price is very fair, the guy is nice, and the cafe is very scenic. If he took the coffee more seriously and opened some seats, he'd be busy all day. For now, go to culture cafe down the street for better espresso and vibe. read more

I can't believe I didn't know about this place. This place is very nice! Not too much sit in space. But if you catch it at a down time it's perfect! Lee one of the guys that works there is very nice! I definitely would have missed this place had I not known to look for it. A cute coffee shop in an otherwise bleak area surrounded by tacky fashion stores and chain restaurants. There is a wide array of pastries (macaroons, croissants) in addition to their impressive coffee options. I opted for a latte. At $4 for a small latte, it was a bit pricey but it was actually very delicious. Plus, there was a cool design made with the foam. If you're willing to shell out some money, check this place out. I finally got a chance to stop into Ramini since I've been on a hunt to try chai tea lattes all over the city. The place is small. The crowd when I went around 7:30 wasn't bad. Customer service wasn't that friendly seemed more focus on getting people in and out. I get that. The drink I tried however I didn't like. Decent croissants. Overpriced Coffee. Not bad, but overpriced. Coffee is strong and not sweetened, so pack extra sugar if you get that. That being said, it's the first real espresso place I saw here, so I'll come back and update if it's a better experience. read more

Nice, quiet place to get away from folks in Midtown. They don't allow laptops and such, so you can actually find conversation here or some quiet. I had a nice drink just sitting and relaxing as I was waiting to check into my hotel. Also, tons of plants around - so it's a welcome change from the 'concrete jungle' of the city. read more

I liked this cafe, but had a really odd experience. I wanted tea but as one knows, the office is freezing in the summer and didn't want to have ice in it. The man behind the counter was nice, but said if he filled the cup all the way it would be an extra $2. I understand how ice does take up volume in a cup, but $2 ?!? It was almost as expensive as the tea itself. I tried the almond flour vegan (I think ?) matcha cookie as well and enjoyed it. It was crumbly, yet still moist and not too sweet. I would think about coming back if I were in the area, but would probably go to other places with more reasonable conditions first. read more

I really enjoyed my cold brew from Ramini. It was strong but smooth, with hints of chocolate. I also tried a green tea almond cake. It was a good treat - not too sweet but the almond provided a good flavor and richness to it. The best part was that while there was a line of about seven people, it moved very quickly. I was in and out with my order in less than ten minutes, unlike other swamped coffee shops. There aren't many seats, but it seemed like there were quite a few regulars stopping in on their way to work and the friendly staff knew their orders. read more

Really cute coffee shop with standing tables. Very cute fall designs! My chai latte was EXTREMELY hot that I burnt my tongue. So be warned. Pretty good though! I got the matcha cake which was good and almondy, the sea salt brownie which was SUPER good, the coconut ball which was good, but the SHOWSTOPPER WAS THE FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE. Since last weekend I began to really fall in love with flat white and am trying various coffee shops these days to look for a better one comparable with laughing man in TriBeCa. Ramini definitely belongs to that group. Got in right before 720 so there aren't that many of people. I quickly got attracted by their inside decoration - with broken wall and mirrors, interesting! The skinny flat white smoothly melt in my mouth the second I took my first sip, however the scent stayed. It was definitely the top three flat whites that I have tried. While I was waiting for my order, another customer expressed discontent with hers (to the point where she thought she ordered the wrong thing); and the baristas did everything reasonable to get her a drink she'd like with a smile and a quip. They answered my questions about why olive oil is such a prevalent ingredient in the juice options and complimented my sneakers. The tip I gave was not enough to express how much I enjoyed my ~15minute stint in the store, frankly. I got the Green Sport, and it was embarrassing how quickly I drank it down. So refreshing in the summer.
