My husband and I were going to the Asada Grill but it was under renovation sooo....my husband decided we we go to Rancho Grande instead as he had never been. I had been once before for lunch and was underwhelmed, however they had just opened. So clean slate! The restaurant has bright decor and an inviting staff. First we were served with the usual chips and salsa. Unfortunately the oil the chips were fried in was burned so the chips were dark and off tasting. We ordered Chile Verde enchiladas and a combination plate of Chicken enchiladas and Chili Relleno. Our food was hot and the portions were generous, although, taste wise I would rate the meal as average, with the exception of the Chili Relleno. The Chili Relleno was extremely spicy, overly so. Another thing that was annoying, our drinks were never refilled, my water nor my husband's diet soda. It's hot, at least fill our drinks. So, with the many, many Mexican Restaurants here in town, you can do better. read more

We just discovered this place and have already returned three times in two weeks! It offers authentic Mexican food that is tasty, smells amazing and they give you enough to feed an army! I have tried their carne asada nachos, chili rellenos, and arroz con pollo and it was all delicious! My daughter loves their horchata and says it's the best in town. My wife loves their chicken mole and my brother loves the fajitas. You can't go wrong no matter what you order. They check on you often to see that you have everything you need. This place is really close to home so I find myself here very often. The food is consistently good and the service is consistently warm and friendly. When I stop by it's normally to pickup a side of rice and beans for the kids. The only thing inconsistent is how we get the side of rice and beans. We've gotten it in 1 carry out plate, a plastic cup like container, and in two carry out plates, etc. I'm not complaining because it's always good no matter how they serve it. The ambiance always seems very family oriented. Some guys at the bar watching a game but the tables are always occupied by families and friends that seem to be having a good time. I would probably go here more often if the prices were a little lower but I understand and see how good service cost good money. read more

Friend and I tried this place on a busy Friday night. First of all, parking is crazy. Most of the lot near the restaurant was full. We cruised around a bit before we found a spot. Went inside. It was LOUD! Loud music, people talking. Dining room was smaller than I expected. Tables were almost all full. We were seated and noticed we had to talk loud so we could hear each other. Chips and salsa arrived pretty quickly. Store bought chips weren't very good, but the salsa had a nice kick. Drink orders were taken and drinks arrived quickly, too. We place our orders. Chile verde burrito for my friend and white chicken enchiladas for me. He liked the Chile verde. Not very spicy though. He also liked the beans and rice. Enchiladas were good. Chicken was stewed with seasoning. White sauce didn't have much flavor. I wasn't impressed with the rice or beans. I was impressed with how the staff worked together. This being their third and newest location, we decided to give them a try and support a local business during these crazy times. The location is brand new and seems more spacious than it really is lol but it's nice with two giant TVs showing current games. They have lots of seating, even for bigger parties. We walked in to a packed space and got lucky enough to be immediately seated at the last open table! Packed house was a good sign! (I believe there was still patio seating available but it was after sunset and cold so we opted to sit indoors.) Even with the full restaurant, the service was great! Our drink orders were taken and we were promptly served chips and yummy salsa. Soon after, our food order was taken (which was difficult to choose what to eat since they have a large variety of food). Not 15 minutes later, our food was out and we were enjoying our meal. The food was pretty standard Mexican food. Nothing exceptional, but also nothing we wouldn't order again. The place was busy so the fact that we were served so quickly, our drinks were refilled timely, and the food was hot when it came out let's me rate them at 4 solid stars. I'd go back again too. The food and the drinks are pretty solid here but I think the stars of this place are all the friendly and welcoming staff. Always a fun atmosphere here, we've quickly made it our go to spot for a drink and quick bite. If I'm feeling real hungry, my go to dish is the fajitas mixtas. They got steak, chicken, and shrimp in them and a bunch of veggies. Idk what kind of seasoning they put on these but damn it's good. Order it with the flour tortillas. Thank me later. For a quick app, the queso fundido with both the chiles and chorizo is a must. They're working on a drink menu, but if you can think it, they can make it. read more

First time ordering from here. I paid for a side of sour cream for $2.50 and didn't recieve it. I made a report and all they would credit me for was .71 cents. My "crispy" taco was wet and soggy and I didn't receive any utensils even though I requested them. I got the 3 item plate and the food was pretty good. This place has sadly gone down hill since they opened. Every time I go in, there is new staff. They cannot keep any employees lately. Their "new" manager is never dressed presentable. She wears crocs and her hair is always messy. She also made some rude comments in the back that I overheard while walking to the restroom. Not someone I would want working for me. There is also one other lady who seems to be a manager. Can never tell who is in charge there. Food is mediocre. The chips and salsa are nothing special to write home about. The drinks are really good. I miss Chuy and his drinks. He was the best bartender. Bring back Maritza, Brooklyn and Chino! They always provided the best customer service and made sure we were well taken care of. My buddies and I would go in Saturday mornings to drink and it is not the same anymore since they have all left. They have maybe 1 or 2 people left working who started when they opened. Alejandra always provides great customer service. I always request her when I go in now. She is hard working and deserves a raise. She is constantly walking around and making sure every customer is taken care of. Recently, the host left a few months ago. Her name started with an M and she was the sweetest young lady. The food was not very good. In this town, you have to bring it when it comes to Mexican food and they just didn't. The pork in the chili verde was overcooked and the sauce was no better than a can. My wife's food was also bland and a tad overcooked. The service was fine. Nothing special, but adequate.
