Good food it's clean and ima old costumer and everything is nice!! The service is got too

    Garlic knots

Neighborhood pizza joint nothing special but good enough to please everyone. We got the spinach roll which had mozzarella cheese throughout. Lots of spinach.. No side of tomato sauce was included which other joints include. Also got 5 garlic knots. Both items were fresh and the total cost was $9.50. Knots were advertised as $2. Would come again because it is local but it's not a destination place.

I ordered Chicken Francese through Seamless, but what I got was plain grilled chicken breasts very thin ones at that. They were over spaghetti in a garlic flavored oil. No pieces of garlic or lemon were seen. I won't be ordering from here again. What a disappointment.

Soooooo... Thank you so much... for one of the worst dining experiences of my life! 1st The order was 20 mins late. When I called to inquire the guy could not understand and kept telling me that they were closed and not doing delivery. 2. When the delivery finally came it was Luke warm, but the delivery guy was nice enough. I gave a good tip. 3. We were so excited for our grandma style sicilian (half chicken, half Italian sausage), mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, buffalo wings, and soda to complete our movie night. Below is a break down of the mess they attempted to pass off as food... -The SOGGY (saggy) "Grandma pizza" with dry chicken, crust as hard as a turtle shell and overly chewy texture. It was so bad my girlfriend ate the toppings and left the entire crust after one bite. -The garlic knots were burnt and swimming in oil. The garlic on top was so black I mistook it for pepper. They were also chewy. -The mozzarella sticks... one word... rubber. -The wings were so soggy the breading came off at the touch and the buffalo sauce tasted like it was mixed with ketchup. I am pretty sure you could get better wings at a bodega - The Sierra Mist was the best part of this meal. But they didnt make it, so.... This meal not only ruined our movie night, but made us question our entire relationship with italian food, take out, convenience, and our place in the universe. While we figure it all out, we are in recovery drinking tea and vehemently writing reviews... Beware my friends, beware.

Penne ala vodka with broccoli. Needed more vodka sauce, a little too tomato-ee tasting as compared to the regular penne ala vodka.

Worth the hype! Absolutely insane calzone... That was our must order!!!…read more The pizza is also incredible - you have to try. We had a pizza + a calzone and for 2-3 people this is enough. Reservations were tough (stand in line and then they'll tell you what time to come back) and we got an 830 res. Still one of my favorite pizzas!

Cash only, BYOB (with rules depending on how many people), and a time limit on the table. Know what you want when you sit down. Menu is easy, pizza, calzones, sometimes pasta. Simple. Is it worth waiting in line for - maybe - if you have 2-3 hours free and nothing else to do and it's a nice day, sure. But honestly can't say I am running back to do it again. Waiting in line to get added to a waitlist that still doesn't always guarantee you will sit down to eat at the requested time - we were seated 40 mins after checking in (unusually long, never had more then 20 mins or so in past visits) but still a strange system, keeps the spot exclusive I'd guess. Have visited several times and always have had a good meal and the prices are very fair. Seating is not super comfortable and they pack you in for real, the restaurant is also unnecessarily dark and loud - But not in a bad way? I can't explain it but the very delicious pizza makes up for the weird ambiance and all the rules... definitely something to experience atleast once.

I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center. Sending my highest recommendation!

Got a TGTG order here. 11/10 I'd do it again…read more Brooklyn DOP actually originated as a pandemic business where my friend's personal trainer started baking pizzas outside of his Greenwood Heights apartment. When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Their pizza is SOOO perfectly crisp and charred, and actually is one of the closest pizzas that reminds me of the famous originals in Napoli.

Brooklyn DOP is a prime example of what happens when a pandemic lockdown, a dough obsession, and an…read moreinability to sit still all collide. We visited as a stop on Scott's Pizza Bus Tour, which meant we were actively evaluating it against some of the best pizza in the city. Evaluating pizza on a tour is tricky because excellence becomes relative when you are eating multiple high-end pies in a single afternoon. According to Scott, Brooklyn DOP began in founder Thomas Ardito's apartment during the 2020 lockdowns. With his primary work on pause, he started baking pizza and selling pies through Instagram to pay his rent. People kept ordering. His friend Jason D'Amelio joined the effort, and what started as an apartment project turned into pop-ups and eventually a brick-and-mortar shop on 5th Avenue in Park Slope. That is a considerably more compelling origin story than a corporate franchise business plan. The setup in Park Slope includes a quiet back courtyard, which offered a comfortable spot for our group to sit, eat, and recover between stops. It feels relaxed and distinctly Brooklyn without trying too hard to remind you where you are. The pizza itself is very good. The crust strikes a proper balance between a crisp bottom and a chewy interior. The toppings are handled with care, from the crushed tomatoes to the fresh mozzarella. This is dough crafted by people who take fermentation seriously rather than relying on pre-packaged shortcuts. On its own merits, the pizza is a solid 4.5 stars. Unfortunately for Brooklyn DOP, it was competing on a tour against places operating on another plane. It is an excellent pie, but it was not the single slice that caused the entire tour to fall silent in collective awe. Still, that is an aggressive standard to hold against any local shop. Brooklyn DOP offers a great courtyard, a serious approach to dough, and a standout product. Landing just shy of five stars says far more about the sheer volume of elite pizza we ate that day than it does about the shop itself. Four stars. And if you are not spending the afternoon riding around New York with Scott Wiener eating pizza at some of the finest pizza joints the 5 boroughs have to offer, you can probably bump that half-star back up.
