    Mediterranean scramble
    Linda D.

Came to visit one of my friends and we wanted a brunch place. I knew what I wanted to order before we got to the restaurant. There's no parking available and majority is street parking. We were able to grab a table right away since it was early and the lunch crowd didn't come yet. Indoors is lowly lit and has this intimate yet cozy ambience. They have this industrial like indoor decor that I really liked. Even though it was lowly lit, each table has their own lamp. I was instantly drawn to their crab cake benedict. There were options for half and full and I went with the full since I came hungry. My friend ordered the Mediterranean scramble and she got a full as well. Our waitress offered the day's special which was a quiche but we went with our menu choices. Our orders came out fairly quickly and boy, was I impressed. My crab cake benedict was everything I expected it to be and more. The poached eggs sit on 2 toasted English muffins. It was so flavorful, a little salty because of the crab but it did come with a slice of lemon. I got my dish with a side of country style potatoes and yes, I finished my entire dish. It was too good to stop! My friend's scramble was also very large and looked really good too. She enjoyed it and took half home. Upon looking at the menu, Randy's Bistro has a little something for everyone for brunch, lunch and dinner. Since my friend is local, she plans to come back (it was her first time too). Service was excellent and our waitress was very nice. She didn't rush us with eating nor the bill. Next time when I'm in town, I'll be sure to visit again.

Yesterday we were able to go to Monday Night Dinner at Randy's. It's been one of our go-to breakfast spots. Randy and all the staff are so genuinely nice and very accommodating. We love everything we have tried here. On Monday evenings, they do different cuisine with a special menu. You can find the restaurant on social media platforms (I use Facebook) as well as their website. He puts updates on upcoming menus. Last night was filipino cuisine. Everything we had was delicious. I'm very selective on what I normally order, and we brought friends that loved it as much as we did. Randy has also catered party trays that I've used for my business lunches and everyone has given positive feedback that they love the food from there. They will book private events at the restaurant, and together you can design a menu for your event. I am planning on reserving for early next year, but it's a cute place to host a dinner. We will return in the not too distant future

Breakfast favorite. Chicken Fried Steak & Egg, over-easy, country potatoes and gravy. Very good! A must order.

This is a great place for food, come hungry, everything is good. Great breakfast, brunch. Very hearty and comfort foods. Coffee is good and hot. I heard the waiter say Chicken adobo and Fried rice. I'll have to try this next time.

Just got home from a great German dinner at Randys Bistro. My parrot, Buddy is enjoying some of my leftovers for dinner. If you haven't tried Randys Bistro, you should. I have never had anything there that I don't like. You can order off of the menu or try their specials. These change and do not disappoint.

Great Bloody Mary but small portions and I've never been somewhere where some kind of toast didn't come with the breakfast. Pricey as well. Cute establishment and service was good.

An awesome spot to grab brunch. Cozy diner vibes! The staff was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Their service was so top notch that I almost drank 3 cups of coffee accidentally because they made sure my cup was always filled! Both dishes we got were phenomenal. I got a chicken fried steak, this dish was so comforting, and so delicious with the gravy on top. We also got a waffle to share for the table and it also came with a side of Berry compote that was delectable. We will definitely be back!

    Belgian Waffle Breakfast Brunch

We were a little skeptical of the reviews but this place was truly phenomenal. My fiancé and I just moved to Lodi and were exploring new food places. This food was incredible. My fiancé got the Lobster Ravioli and I got the Belgian Waffle with fresh strawberries added. Our server let us know that the drinks we ordered (Brown Sugar Lemonade and Orange Juice) were made to order. And he was so kind. It was all so delicious and fresh and perfect. We will be coming back!!!

Nice little neighborhood bistro. I taken the family here a few times for breakfast. The Food is always good and tasty. Try the Belgium waffle!! Yummy. Hollandaise was also pretty good and prepared from scratch. Only complaint is like every-one their getting a bit pricey!! Nice time was had by all. Thanks Randy's

    Strawberry waffle

The food was really good, I ordered the strawberry waffle and it was so delicious! Good portions too. Our server was nice and friendly with our kids which is always a plus. The tables and whole place was clean! Tables were decorated with red roses and a light which makes the place cozy.

    Smoked Salmon Benedict

My mom, sister, and I ate here for the first time and everything was amazing! Definitely the best breakfast we've had in a loooooong time. The Benedicts (my sister had the smoked salmon and I had the crab cakes) and the tri tip scrambled breakfast were all so flavorful & the French toast *chef's kiss* was delicious. Friendly staff, cozy vibe, and food made with real care. We will definitely be back

My first time here. The inside was really cute. We had the coffee and they had half and half, vanilla, and hazelnut creamer. My kids ordered the hot chocolate. We all enjoyed our food. One pancake may of been a little overcooked but still yummy. Their service and staff were very attentive and friendly. They also had some Filipino options that I want them try next time. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back.

Food was great we came for breakfast did not disappoint as u can see cleared the whole plate

    Pork Lumpia was delicious

This restaurant is great! The owner is so personable & checks in with every table. He offers a variety of dishes from different countries. And everyone Monday he has a special menu. 10 out of 10. Make sure you try it out.

I ordered a burger and I was given someone else's burger. I had a few fries before I realized, I opened the burger to find it wasn't the BBQ burger I ordered. Richard, our waiter, proceeded to tell me that i didn't order it. Then he tells me it's someone else's order. Which is it? He proceeds to take the burger my fingers were all over and re-serves it to another patron. (So it was someone else's order). He rushes my corrected order back to my table. The burger was dry and burnt. Was this retaliation? At this point I didn't care. I just ate. My wife reported her go-to beef dip sandwich was not the same quality we have been used to. He didn't get my wife the Pepsi she orders but charged us for it. When I point it out (in the most polite and respectful manner) he snatched the receipt out of my hand. The restaurant is starting to look run down too. It's a shame management is letting a place like this go down the tubs. I have heard Richard apologize to just about every patron in the restaurant at some point and the word tracks he uses to confirm orders or to ask if someone wants anything else is patronizing and confusing. Richard should not be customer facing or doing any tasks that require reading, writing, listening or interacting with customers. The soda syrup/carbonation ratios are really bad. Hoping for a course correction because cutting corners is a death sentence for any premium burger joint. When you take away the premium all you have is an over priced burger that makes me wish I went to Burger King instead. At least I can expect poor service and poor quality food without paining $40

Wow. SQZ Burger has been open for nearly three years in Lodi and I never noticed it. I know I've…read moredriven past it many times, but I guess their signage is too modest compared to the huge "IDOL BEER WORKS" on the other end of the building. I figured it was just another iteration of the original (now long gone) Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, and I was right. I don't think the various locations are franchises, but are more likely independently owned, and the quality varies from location to location. The one that used to be in West Sac, for instance, was terrible, which might explain why it's been gone for years. And the mid-town was also a resounding MEH, and also gone. There's nothing at any version of Squeeze Inn/Burger that I want more than just a basic Squeeze (or in this case, SQZ) with Cheese, though. I don't want a taco, nor a BLT, and especially not chicken strips. I want that which made the brand famous. A cheeseburger with all the traditional toppings and a cheese skirt just dripping cheese grease off it. SQZ Burger delivers the goods. The cheese skirt was just the right size, not too big, not too small. At one point in my life I would have said that there's no such thing as a cheese skirt that's too big, but a couple of years ago I had a cheese skirt that was so big that I felt sick afterward from all the cheese grease! In addition to the just right amount of cheese, the burger had lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and a healthy schmear of mayo and mustard. Damn near a perfect burger. The owner was running the register on my visit, and when she brought my food out, she asked if I wanted a side of ranch. I'm the kind of guy who would drink ranch dressing if I could, so of course I accepted. I didn't even ask - It was nice of her to offer! There's a throughline from the original Squeeze Inn on Power Inn Road to SQZ Burger, too. The father of the husband half of the H/W ownership team owned the original location. Brandon and Katie ran the Galt location for several years, and have now brought the goodness to a Lodi brick and mortar spot. I'll definitely be back.

I had the western bacon cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry shake. These burger was full of flavor and BIG! Not sure exactly how they make their fries, but they're amazing. And my strawberry shake was good also. We had about 45 people all land at the same time, and SQZ was able to quickly get us all served in short order. I do love the vibe of both SQZ & IDOL. It was a nice little drive both ways with an epic food stop in between.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!
