Amazing donuts. Randy's has the most soft, slightly dense not too heavy and not too airy, every bite feels just right- not too thick and the perfect size donuts (pretty big it is worth the couple bucks). My favorite is raised pink sprinkles donut, there is a thick layer of hardened icing - the perfect crunch and sweetness! Don't go buying just any not so good donuts - get Randy's. First time at Randys on jan 23, 2022 around 8am. I was greeted by a young man. I ordered the deluxe dozen and one milk. $20.20 The donuts were so fresh and yummy The young man( dark curly hair) who helped me was so professional, friendly and made sure my order was correct. GREASY At about 4:30PM I bought one vanilla kruller, one Texas glazed, a chocolate Long John and a red velvet cake. Each doughnut tasted (or smelled) greasy. First I tried the red velvet cake and it was dry, crumbly and tasted of grease--no, the icing did not taste of cream cheese. The Long John had a decent chocolate flavor that partially masked the greasiness and was edible. However, the Kruller stank of grease and I just threw it out. Not worth risking the tummy ache. The Texas glazed--although the glaze was good, it was too heavy (from grease) to eat more than a quarter of it. Very disappointing @ $10 all together and not worth a dime. I get it: they were made that morning--hopefully--and sat all day waiting to be traded for my $$ and I don't expect them to taste like 'just made'. However, I did not expect the overwhelming flavor of grease for $2.50 a piece. Ensure it tastes right, or toss it! Besides, there's a way to fry food and avoid making it grease soaked--ancient Chinese secret, right?! Guess what they did wrong. One of the Best Randy's donuts out there! Although this was my first time ever going, I'm so glad I picked this location! Best customer service ever! Young Hispanic man behind the counter was very patient and kind as I was deciding what kind of donut I wanted for each member in my family. The original shop I believe is in Inglewood. I can't believe I never tried it when I used to be in the neighborhood. I've gone to the one on Hawthorne in Torrance. The plain chocolate is the bomb. The dough n chocolate has quality. The other flavors are delish as well! read more

This rating is purely for a food safety issue that really irks me. It isn't the employees fault unless they were taught the right way and they are ignoring their training. So this is a management issue. I went in to get a dozen and both nice employees were wearing gloves and serving customers and ringing them up. I saw them pick up donuts with gloves, check out customers paying in cash with the same gloves then asking me what I wanted without changing gloves. I had to ask him to change his gloves before he picked up my donuts with the same gloves he used to touch cash bills with. That is so gross. You need a dedicated cashier that doesn't handle food. read more

I would be careful using a card at this location. I only bought a cinnamon roll at the price of $2.25 which was what originally was charged. Next day, it said $10.25 was pending for the transaction. I left no tip and have a screen capture of when my bank originally charged me. While I love the donuts here, I'm hesitant to use my card here again. read more

But so disappointed I went last night at 7:59pm and there was one person inside and when it was my turn I opened the door just to hear the girl say "I'm sorry we're closed, he was our last customer" I was craving a doughnut so bad. & as I sat in my car to drive off I see them throwing the doughnuts away like really? Oh man! So sad to be disappointed by this place. You would think Randy's in the first week of opening would try its best to impress! Came on the 5th morning from opening and the donuts were clearly not fresh. I came in around 7:30 am, so I have to assume the donuts were from the day before. Such a shame! I really wanted to support this place because it's so close to me and I have such fond memories of the original one, but sadly old, stale donuts don't do it for me. read more

Finally!!! I'm a huge fan of Randy's and I was happy to see they opened a location in my city. I even went on their Grand Opening day and bought 2 dozen of their glaze twists and glaze chocolate twists. MY ALL TIME FAV! If you haven't tried them you're definitely missing out. Great location, friendly staff, and delicious donuts. My only complaint is that on three visits in a row, all at different times of day, they were out of apple fritters. Certain specialty donuts don't seem to sell well, given the abundance they always seem to have on hand. First time trying out this location, they compare to the El Segundo location but definitely not to the original. I got a devils food and a chocolate bar. The chocolate bar was over cooked, not very fresh and the chocolate icing was dull and missed the sheen of typical donut icing. The devils food was dry and the icing came off in chunks. This donut tasted better than the bar but still lacking that general donuty goodness you expect. Overall not impressed and these donuts aren't worth the calories in my opinion. The staff is super friendly a d patient. I don't feel rushed to decide on the donuts we wanted. And it's hard because there is a lovely selection of classic and unique donuts to choose from! With Covid, you really cannot see the selection until you get up to the display case. They keep patrons distanced and the line goes really quick!! Don't be dissuaded because of a line. First and possibly last time at this Randy's donuts. I normally would describe the donuts but today I will describe my experience. We are on our Valentine's Day donut tours: Modo, Randy, SideCart, Krispy Kreme. What's one thing that's sets them apart -service. Randy's was horrible even though my family spent 20 minutes in line, when I went in they tried to rush us out. Instead of getting a "welcome to Randy's" her first response is "we only allow 4 people capacity." I had 5 people in my group, 3 kids and my Gf. I was like " I can send the kids in one at a time." But my kids got the message and went to the car and didn't experience picking their own donut. Picking donuts is a part of the donut experience. Randy's donuts in Torrance just wants you in and out. They just want your money not your your patronage. Next time give some service, especially on Valentine's Day, be welcoming, or donut fans like us won't be back. Donuts are good, but nothing to rave about. Guess mostly it's because of the notoriety of the OG location and movies.

I went here just after they opened, thankfully. There's usually a huge line of people waiting to pick up donuts. I was tended to a young gentleman that looks like he never ate a donut. He basically looks like a physical trainer with little to no body fat. With that being said, I asked him for his favorites to design my order. Let it be said, he did a fantastic job! He choose donuts I never seen before, and I wonder if he was hiding them. The only familiar was a bear claw, however I recommend allowing them to pick their personal favorites to design you order. Was in the neighborhood and saw Randy's donuts and had to try out a few. Let me tell you, these donuts were very good. We had a apple fritter, coffee donut, and a buttermilk donut. Will be back again to try out some of the other donuts. read more
