Ok pizza if you are local. They usually only have one person working so answering the phone to take your order is sometimes a challenge. No delivery, and you have to call them when you arrive so they will bring the pizza out to a table for you to pick up. Not high on my chart. There's New Bethel Ordinary, extraordinary, donatos, papa johns, and Godfathers in the area thats more accomodating. read more

One star because I have to. Worst food I have ever had and way to expensive for being so terrible. Family of 6 and none of us finished our food having a variety of chicken Phillies steak Phillies and hoagie melts. For some reason they did not have any side items that night which was completely fine however after eating the sandwiches I'm just appalled how they are still even in business. This was a complete leap of faith coming back after previously eating their pizza and having the same reaction. Worst pizza around. A little far from home to make a regular venture to, I was visiting some friends that live in the Wanamaker area and guess what...? We got hungry. It's a small mom and pop shop. Basic decor and some booths. We called to place a delivery order. I thought it was great that they informed us that due to being busy as hell (my words), they were just over an hour out on delivery. 30 minutes on carry out. We opted for carry out. I like pizzas of all styles, types, toppings... We ordered a Hawaiian and a meat lover type pizza. And some breadsticks. Both pies were good. Ample toppings, sound sauce, and nice spicing mixture. Ok, I'm going to just breeze by the good pizza to talk about how I never imagined I would rave about breadsticks. First time ordering. Called at 7pm on a Saturday night. No answer. Seemed odd so called again and a msg. came in that they were only accepting carry out orders- no delivery or in store orders but no ability to actually order a pizza. Hubby asked if I ordered and then he tried calling. He was able to reach someone and placed an order for a 14" pizza. The person said 50 minutes. My husband arrived and the door was locked and he called their number more than 10 times with no one answering. He knocked on the front door twice and no one answering but he also said there was a table pulled across the front of that door on the inside. He knocked on the door marked "private " and he could hear loud music playing. No answer. He knocked again and finally a lady, who my husband said was quite rude, came to the door and gruffly asked why he was "beating on the door." How about because we'd like to get our pizza and the front door is locked and you aren't answering your phone? My husband was made to wait outside another 15-20 minutes for our pizza. Pizza was okay but not worth the rude service or hoops to jump through to get it. Don't recommend nor would we ever go back. Besides, I really hate canned mushrooms and the pizza was unappetizing because of it. read more

My wife and I are new to the Franklin township area so we wanted to try a local pizza place. By experience we know that getting pizza from a mom and pop is a gamble. I have had both great and terrible pizzas from family owned pizza places. Fortunately, this was one of those times we uncovered a hidden gem. The building is an old concrete block building and the store front is absolutely awesome. They have about 8 booths with attached chairs and a free standing table with a cash register. There is even a cloth checkers board on one of the tables. It gives you a really down home family restaurant feeling. The menu has a huge variety of pizzas and sandwiches, all of which were reasonably priced. Since it was our first time there we played it safe with a 14 inch half pepperoni half pepperoni and bacon. We also got cheese bread. The pizza was absolutely amazing. I feel the sauce was the star of the pie; it had just the right mixture and acidic tomato and sweet. The cheese was great and they don't go light on the toppings with plenty of pepperoni and crispy bacon by the strip. The crust was great and the pizza slices are cut into the square fashion instead of the pie slice. The cheese break was great too, and it came with excellent cheese dipping sauce. Bottom Line: Great priced mom and pop pizza place with amazing diversity. I can't wait until next time when I plan on sampling their Stromboli sandwich. read more

I have been eating Randy's since I was a little girl. The food is still sooo good and the service is even better. I now have two very rambunctious boys, one a toddler and one with Autism. The staff always notices when I'm struggling and offers to help me carry my pizza to the car or helps stop my kids from running off. They are a true family business who respects their customers and treats everyone with kindness. I'm always amazed at how just genuinely kind these people are. I absolutely love this pizza place and hope they are around for generations to come. read more

I've heard good things about this place. I have no idea why. I ordered a delivery with a large sausage pizza, garlic bread and cheese steak sandwich. The quality of the ingredients was incredibly low. The poza tasted like something I would get from the grocery freezer section. The sauce was mostly bland, and the sausage added nothing to the flavor. The cheese was some what gritty tasting to me, and wasn't really that good. The other items were on par with that. The steak wasn't something fresh, cheese was fake tasting, and the bread soggy, and hard on the edges. The garlic bread could have been toasted a bit longer and was the same hoagie bun as the sandwich. The prices were really a reflection of the lower quality flavor either. $31 for the order to be delivered. Disappointed, won't bring my business back there. read more

We ordered two pizzas and breadsticks. Our order was supposed to be delivered in a hour but it was more like 90 minutes. Our pizza was hot, but soggy. Our order was correct. We ordered one other time. We picked our order up. They close at 11 and we placed our order between 10 and 1030 and they would not deliver. Our toppings on our large pizza were wrong, but we always give restaurants at least two tries before we decide we dont like it. The woman who took our order both times was very unfriendly. We definately will not eat here again and am surprised they have been in business so long. read more

That's as good as the food was the service was horse crap. They delivered to me one night, which the pizza was awesome. But three days later told me that they do not deliver to me even though I tipped very well and waited an hour and a half for my food. Even after she told me it was going to be an hour this time I was more than happy to wait for the food and pay for the delivery fee which I did last time. But she denied my business because she hates her job and does not want any more customers. Do not waste your money or your time messing around with someone who does not want you. I recently just moved to the Wanamaker area and decided to try out this establishment since I had already visited the Ordinary before. To make this quick and simple I ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza and it was $14.00 which seemed expensive to me but hey maybe it's worth it. Get home with the pizza eat a piece.... Extremely disappointed I paid that much for a pizza when I could of gotten the same thing at the marathon gas station. This pizza was worse than little Cesar's. Hard crust plain sauce and chewy pepperoni and hard cheese. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go to the Ordinary. read more

THis is the best pizza I've found in indianapolis and I've lived here all my life.Only 2 things wrong and that is they dont deliver to where i now lived since i had to move 20 minutes away and the chairs and booths are too small and uncomfortable so i always get take out but we often buy two pizzas at a time and take home.I knew the owners that started this place and they were great people as well as the present owners. I can say in over 40 years of eating their pizzas ,I dont think I've ever had a bad one.I'll drive past the ordinary every time to get a Randy's Pizza. read more
