The food was pretty good! A 3.5 star review. - Pad Sew Ew (13.95) - was spicy even though we requested "1" spice level. Flavors were good though not for children. - Papaya Salad Tray ($22.50) - had a variety of pork meats and papaya salad with sticky rice. My kids wanted it because it had "cha lua" (Vietnamese pork loaf aka fancy pork). - Crispy Chicken Lime Sauce (14.50) - fried chicken cutlet-ish with fried Chinese broccoli. Decent but probably won't order again. I don't normally mention bathrooms but their bathrooms were disgusting. The women's floor was so sticky to the point that my shoes still made sticky sounds when I was at the dining area. My partner told me the men's bathroom was one of the most disgusting bathrooms he's seen in awhile. Urine was everywhere. Although we enjoyed our meal, we just don't think this place is very family friendly and likely won't return for awhile. It has a very young adult vibe which is fine just not for us. read more

I'm always in the mood for some delicious Thai food, and I'm so shocked that I haven't tried this place sooner! This restaurant is located in a small plaza very close to my neighborhood! It has lots of parking for customers. We went around 1-2 hours before closing so there wasn't any wait time. The restaurant was a decent size and had plenty of seating. The atmosphere of the place felt super alive and aesthetically pleasing. For our appetizer we ordered the crispy pork skin, and my my my this was delicious! I grew up eating pork skin so I found this dish to be very nostalgic. It might be a hit or miss if you're not used to eating crispy pork skin! But I can assure you it's delicious once you give it a try. Next we got pad thai, and you cannot go wrong with pad thai, tasted as it should be and super tasty! Next we got the sweet and sour stir fried, which sounds exactly how it tastes, sweet and sour. For dessert we got the thai ice tea float which was around $4 which is an absolute steal! First time checking into this place after deciding to go on and get some Thai/Lao food to take home. Went with the staple food because you could never go wrong with that. We ordered Lao sausage, papaya salad, and pork bbq jerky strips. Don't forget the sticky rice! It came along with tamarind sauce which was amazing! Tangy and spicy that went so well with the jerky. We wanted to get some Crying tiger and beef jerky but they were out for the day. Other than that the staff was amazing and even offered water while I waited. Will definitely come back to continue on and try their crying tiger and beef jerky since that's always what we are striving to find and buy other than that, amazing place to try your favorite Thai/Lao food! We place orders from here way more than we should. The food is tasty and consistent. The yellow curry is my favorite. It's got that homemade thing going like your wise, elderly grandmother cooked it. I don't recall ever having leftovers. The food is good! The level of spice (heat) in the dishes is just right. It's consistent. Not worth it. Food was expensive for small portions (got my food to go, but honestly shouldn't matter) and they forgot my rice. And it wasn't even very busy so I have no idea how they could've messed up. Also, the pink Thai milk tea tastes like cherry cough medicine (and looks like Pepto Bismo) so just stick to the original. Price would have been worth it if the food was at least fantastic, however it was middling and thus disappointing. At least be expensive and good, or cheap and middling, choose a lane. Our favorite spot for Thai boat noodles for years now. We'll make that drive! So pungent and perfect with the right amount of spice and flavors. Broth is always consistent, meat always tender, and tons of toppings. I love that they'll bring you the side of spices for your noodle. The spicer the better! We come often but we always gota have a bowl of the boat noodles. We love their moo ping pork skewer appetizer. It's an appetizer but comes with sticky rice. The sauce it's served with is a spicy and savory tamarind sauce. It's sooo gooood as a dip. Some of our other favorites is their pad kra pao, pad Lee mao, Thai fried rice, and my son loves their pad Thai. Service is always quick and we're always greeted when we arrive. Place is on the smaller size, but the place feel relaxed and not overly crowded. Music is always on point and there's so much to gaze around to see. Has a unique vibe to it. read more

I got there just a few minutes and had to wait a little but no biggy. There were a lot of people in the place enjoying their food. I got the crispy chicken skins which we always love. Just like pork rines but chicken. It comes with sweet and sour sauce. The pork Thai fried rice was ok. The pork seemed like chicken and a little over cooked . The beef pad Thai was good. the final item was the 5 Ocean over brown rice. Loved this with all the seafood so yummy and with a kick . My wife couldn't eat it. I should of got no spice. Where do I start: On their website and google they have the wrong times open. Which i mean alright ok thats kinda annoying considering we drove here, but you know what, that was our bad for not double checking but its crazier that they knew it wasn't updated as they told us they were closed. The pumpkin curry was also okay, but i think their saving grace was their chicken skin. We ordered fresh rolls and im really not sure why it took us eating almost half our meal to arrive. I had told the waitress she could cancel it but when i did she said it was coming out right now. The other thing that killed me was an employee cleaning the windows (which would be fine) if it wasnt like half a bottle of windex while im trying to eat bc you know how to spoil the smell of a good curry with the delicious smell of CHEMICALS ya ya. Super cute spot in EG :) Impromptu bday dinner for the kid with my nieces. He announces to the host staff that it was his bday as soon as he's seated. We ordered the crab fried rice, Crying tiger, and the crispy chicken. All the food we ordered was pretty tasty. I really enjoyed the Thai Tea float. The Thai tea had ice cream in it and was super delicious. I would definitely come back here again. Also, at the end of the meal, they gave the kid a huge free dessert. 1st time back in years and for me, the food is still just ok. Not worth the drive from south sac. The only thing I really enjoyed was the green thai tea. The crispy chicken with cashew nuts was thinly slices of chicken, fried hard. Although the flavor was good, the texture was not enjoyable. The pineapple fried rice only had a small amount of chicken and it was minced so it just felt pointless to even add it. And the salmon laab felt lacking in flavor. I really liked this place when I went two Saturdays ago after a party at my wife's uncles house nearby. We were able to make reservations relatively last minute and got there before the big dinner rush came. Fried calamari was really tasty and the batter didn't fall off the meat like at a lot of other restaurants. We had the Thai Fried Rice (non spicy) and Pad See Ew (also non spicy). Both were excellent and super flavorful. Very large portions too, enough to take home for multiple days of leftovers. Another bonus for getting us in and out fast, since we had a long day and needed to get home w/our kids. They have a funny Instagram-esque couch in the back you can sit on too, my kids liked that. Super legit Thai with flavors of Bangkok style cooking. I know it's legit cuz my mouth say so and my super critical OG Thai mom says it's lit. Ambiance is dope and modern and the staff are friendly and efficient. Been there twice in less than 24 hours and I'm ready to try the entire menu. Kao ka muu was on point and they bring you a side of the consommé/au jus to pour over the rice. Reminds me of the Central World food court. Som tam was nice and fresh and went perfectly with the pork jerky with sticky rice. Gave me flash backs to when my Yai would almost burn down the house frying those slivers of pork magic. Before this, the only authentic Thai food outside of Bangkok was in the Bay and in Hollywood. Not no more! So glad we found this gem and will return on the regular. read more

The crispy chicken skin was pretty good. I'm sure this isn't healthy, but it was good. The skin was crunchy. It was like eating the fried part of a fried chicken, but it was just the skin, no batter. The Moo Ping (pork skewers) and the BBQ pork plates, I thought they tasted the same. Had the same flavor. They were both good, but same. We also order the chick pad Thai. That was pretty good also. My take out: Had some highs and lows. staff seems nice and was in and out fast. Chicken Green Curry: 5/5 was the best thing I ordered. I didn't modify anything and it had great flavor. That eggplant in the curry is so yummy, like it was deep fried and then thrown in the curry. A lot of chicken meet too. Sadly the white rice it came with was soggy in some areas but I'm rating the curry and it was great. Good portion. Boat Noodle: 3/5 not bad and had good flavor. the noodles were somewhat over cooked and broken in pieces. Felt like it missing something. We got strange Chinese broccoli end pieces. Didn't get a lot of meat. Didn't wow me and my hubby finished most of it. Pad Thai: 2/5 disappointing and lacking the rich sweet and sour balance of flavors. It was pretty bland, noodles were dry and stuck together. It didn't help that I had amazing pad Thai at another place in south sac a week before so it was hard not to compare. We are frequent customers of this establishment. The food is always good. However, our last experience left us with a bitter taste in our mouth. We dined there last week and while most of their employees are generally nice and pleasant, this female server said something that was very rude and condescending. She already looked annoyed everytime we asked her for something. At one point, we just asked for something and she rolled her eyes and said "what?". She's definitely the ONLY employee that has given such negative attitude. To top it off, atthe end of our dinner after leaving, I heard her say "Another FILIPINO ruined my night." to a table that was sitting right next to us. We were a group of Filipinos leaving the restaurant! How rude! We were pleasant and NOT annoying customers! I use to be a server for many years so I know what it's like. If she hated her job so much, why even work in customer service? To all my Filipinos, just be cautious when eating there. read more
