Street parking only, so get here early! Came here to celebrate with family, dress code is dressy casual. Loved the decor, very chic and modern. Our server was amazing! He was great at explaining the menu to us and it ended up being very helpful. We shared the Parker house rolls, a meat board, and dessert. We left fully satisfied and stuffed! Everyone in our party had a really great experience. I highly recommend trying this place out!

Amazing stake house!! We came to celebrate my friend's birthday and we were all blown away. For appetizers we got the house rolls, ceasar salad and the blue crab dip. For entrees we decided to share the executive board and add the fried chicken and Wagyu Denver. Everything was soooo tasty and delicious. All the meats were very flavorful, perfect amount of salt (don't tell them to add less), and buttery. For side the star of the night was the broccolini - best broccolini I've ever had. The service was exceptional, very attentive and welcoming. Don't miss out!!

The food was mediocre- The star of the show ended up being the artichoke and the potato's au gratin. We also had the filet, the wagyu tri tip, mushrooms, and the bananas foster cheesecake and creme brulee. Oh and a Moscow mule that I don't recommend as it doesn't even come in the copper cup, if you appreciate a Good mule. The steaks were very average. My husband loved the mushrooms, they come with an egg yolk on top. The bananas foster cheesecake was good but the creme brulee (which normally i LOVE) was extremely thick and the sugar on top was too dense as well. I would come back just to eat a dish of artichoke and au gratin!! Everything else was mediocre. Great location, great service and great ambience .

Great ambiance, attentive service, and unique cocktails. Completely forgot to take a photo before diving in because we were salivating by the time all the dishes arrived. I will say that the combination of steak, mac and cheese, and potato au gratin became a bit too savory and salty towards the end, so maybe order a palette cleanser or even save room for dessert in the end. Unfortunately, we were both too stuffed by the end of the meal and didn't partake. Another thing: It's only street-parking. Fortunately, we dined on a weekday and didn't struggle too much. Otherwise, I can imagine it being problematic on the weekend.

We were seated immediately after arriving at 5pm. The ambiance was nice and the lighting wasn't too dark. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and helped us navigate what we were feeling for a meal. He also helped us choose a bottle of wine to pair with our main course. We started with the Hamachi Crudo, which was fantastic. The flavors were balanced perfectly between sweet and spicy with bright acidity. After we shared the Caesar salad and were thrilled with the real fried anchovies and copious amounts of pecorino cheese. My husband ordered the wood-fired lobster tail appetizer; after tasting it though we decided the scampi butter was overpowering the smoked flavor. We agreed simple melted butter would've allowed the flavor to shine more. Plus the amount of meat wasn't worth the price in our opinion. For our main, their famous Executive Steak Board was what drew us to them in the first place so we ordered that to share. The Ribeye and Filet were delicious but the NY Strip was overly chewy. The steaks were delicious by themselves but the beef tallow butter was a favorite. Next time we will down size to their smaller steak platter however since we ended up with a few pieces left. We will definitely be back for more!

Our party of four had a wonderful experience at Rare Society. From the moment we walked in through our entire dinner experience and to the minute we walked out. It was simply wonderful to be there. Decor-very nice decor with large windows facing the street. Not a large restaurant y, so it feels intimate. Service-wonderful service. Our waiter was very well informed, polite, and witty at times. Food-5 stars across the board. Drinks were strong, food well seasoned and cooked, and desserts hit the spot. Associate Platter-wonderful cuts of meat. The Denver and Filet were my favorite. The Caesar salad and filet tartar were amazing and started us off on the right food. Ravioli and Potatoes Au Gratin were a perfect side dish. Desserts were huge portions and worth the purchase. Can't wait to go back.

This place was absolutely amazing and delicious. I came here with my cousin for my birthday dinner, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. At the hostess stand they wished me a happy birthday, and once we were seated, I was even given a birthday card. Every staff member who came to our table took a moment to say happy birthday, which made the night feel extra special. Our waiter explained the menu beautifully and gave great, spot-on recommendations. We shared the associate steak board, which included three different types of meats along with sauces and butters--everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also shared the potatoes au gratin, which were incredibly delicious, and the sides were generously sized and perfect for sharing. The caramel brûlée for dessert was amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, the food was outstanding and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening. The ambiance was low-lit and romantic--definitely more of a date-night or special-occasion spot rather than family-friendly. I'll absolutely be bringing my boyfriend here for our next date night. While the price point is on the higher side, it was 100% worth it for the experience.

Came here for our anniversary and this place absolutely delivered. The Parker House rolls were unreal.. soft, buttery, and way too easy to crush. The wagyu Denver had insane flavor, and the bullseye ribeye was cooked perfectly with a great crust. Sides were just as solid, the broccolini had the right char and the whipped potatoes were smooth and rich. Big shoutout to John and Andrew. They went out of their way to take care of us and made the night feel special. Great food, VIP service, and a spot we'll definitely come back to.

Rare Society has become such a special spot for us. We first came here the day we got married, and this time we came back for an early Valentine's date night. It's definitely one of our go-to places when we want a great night out together. The ambiance is dark, moody, and fancy without feeling too formal. You can absolutely dress casual, but it's also a great place to dress up if you're in the mood for it. The first time we visited we sat indoors at a table, and our server was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. This time we sat at the bar and ended up having such a great time talking with the bartender -- it made the night feel really relaxed and personal. The food is always amazing. My husband loves the beef tartare and always has to get it. Since he can't eat seafood, this is the place where I get to go all out and enjoy all the seafood for myself, which I definitely don't complain about! At one point our table (or bar space) was completely covered with food and I felt a little bad because we ordered so much -- but it was all worth it. Every visit here has been such a great experience. If you're looking for a romantic date night spot with incredible food and a great atmosphere, Rare Society is always a go-to for us. Highly recommend!

I've had a lot of steak in my life and rarely visit steakhouses HOWEVER, I will be back to Rare Society! Service was quick and very friendly and the interior is classy and intimate. We split the Associate Board which came with three different cuts of steak along with bone marrow, steak butter and three dipping sauces -- all of which were very tasty. My favorite cut was the Denver cut, I'm almost certain I'll be back just for that! We paired our steak board with the wagyu ravioli and sautéed mushrooms. Both complimented the meal perfectly and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful -- the mushrooms may be a top pic for me! If you're around the North Park area and want to treat yourself to a nice dinner, check this place out!

Cool Fun & Different, a casual steak house with a very special lineage from Trust and Post and Oak, the food is very good and special, the steaks are usually amazing, I had the New York and just look at it... The Pork Tomahawk is probably their signature dish : worth trying.

The best kind of steakhouse for both people who love steak and the people (like me) who like a few bites but get overwhelmed quickly. Everything we ordered was delicious -- loved the board style with three steak cuts (got the Associate, was able to crush between two people), asparagus, potato au gratin, and the cocktails. We felt very take care of with attentive but not overbearing service, and appreciated the little touches recognizing the special occasion we were celebrating. We're excited to come back and try the larger board and more sides!

My husband also got a rib eye steak but from the regular menu. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare. They were tender and full of flavor. The dry aged just had a bigger beef flavor. My mussels were good and plentiful. Unfortunately, a few of them had sand which made it slightly unpleasant. Another sticking point is having to pay for bread service. It was good but not $10 good.
