Made a mobile order to pick up in the store for to-go. It located in the same building from CAVA, honeygrow, Xian Famous Foods, Five Guys and others. There were plenty of complementary parking lots surrounding the building. Arrived at the time of promise, and thebags were ready for pickup. The decorations were modern. There were indoor and outdoor seatings. The bowls contained various ingredients as expected.

I keep coming back and I have recommended it to all my friends and everybody loves it. The service is great. The food is consistently delicious and I'm trying something totally different and I'm loving it.

Definitely a fun and new take on Indian food. Ordered the chicken tikka bowl, iced chai, and garlic naan through delivery and everything came very well packaged. The sauces and toppings on the bowl were very delicious. The Chai was definitely worth getting! Disappointed with the garlic naan, it seemed more like a flatbread from the grocery store with a little bit of garlic topping.

Grain Bowl: 1/2 South Indian Rice Noodles, 1/2 Lemon Turmeric Rice, Spicy Chili Chicken, Coconut Ginger, Kachumber Salad, Mango Salsa, Roasted Lentils, Pickled Onions, Ginger Tamarind Chutney. Honestly it was okay but I probably would not go back due to the lack of sauce, I wish there was more to mix in. I never would have thought I would complain about having too much protein, but the bowl had too much spicy chili chicken (at least it was seasoned right but I had a couple chewy parts). I just don't think there was a balance of each side, plus the South Indian Rice Noodles were DRY, CRUNCHY, therefore inedible In addition, the mango salsa was not sweet & used unripe mangos. From eating authentic Indian food to this chipotle style eatery, I think if you are looking for a quick to go meal this would be your type of spot. Otherwise, just stick with the traditional Indian cuisine, I respect the concept though.

First had RASA years ago after being introduced through a Yelp elite event. I loved learning about the history of this business. It's such a great story. My first time at this location was a great experience. I easily placed a mobile order via the app. I was warmly greeted right away and my food was ready when I arrived. It's been so long that I literally forgot how much I enjoyed their food. The "Tikka Chance on Me" bowl was delicious! The bold flavors really come together so well. Add the spicy tamarind chili - you won't regret it! I will visit again!

I have had their catering ordered to my office once and it was good! But i ordered on uber eats and it was gross. It tasted lemony like tangy and not how i have ever had butter chicken before. The bag was sealed shut so it hadn't been tampered with but I was highly unimpressed this last time

The service and atmosphere at Rasa was great! The decorations in this place is gorgeous and the staff member were very friendly and patient with me as a first-time. I ordered the Butter Chicken online a coworker recommended it to me and I must say it was absolutely outstanding.I love the flavors. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

I first tried Rasa for the first time in Arlington, VA as it was located right downstairs from my apartment. I absolutely loved the variety of ingredients and freshness behind it. so it made me super happy to know they opened a location in Rockville. The concept is like a chipotle with Indian cuisine. I really loved the tikka chance on me bowl (they currently have a special with this one) and the chicken tikka avocado salad is alright. Mango lassi here is also VERY good. Employees are friendly and attentive. It's very clean in the restaurant and utensils are by the beverage area.

There are a number of fast casual restaurants in the area that serve bowls (a lot!), and this is similar, but with an Indian flair. We went to Rasa yesterday for lunch and were pleased. We each got a Chef Recommended bowl. I had the Spicy Chili Chicken Bowl - the chicken was well cooked and had a mild spice. I really liked how all the ingredients worked well together, including the coconut flavor in the sauce. On the negative side, the white rice was a bit mushy. Also, I was surprised that the Bowl is named "spicy" because the item my partner got, the Open Sesame, was much more spicy. My partner also paid another dollar to include chick peas in the bowl. Open Sesame - delicious ground lamb meatballs (spicy!) with eggplant, rice and other tasty items in a peanut sesame sauce. My partner subbed the turmeric rice for the white rice that comes with it, and said the rice was delicious, with thinly sliced almonds and raisins. Garlic Naan - most of the bread, except for the outer edges, was very soggy. Either the bread needed to be cooked more or it was put into aluminum foil to keep it warm and it got soggy in the packaging. But it did have lots of garlic flavor. Yum! The server who prepared our dishes was friendly and helpful. There is a large variety of items for a design-your-own bowl. There are bottles of a hot sauce available in the front of the restaurant. To spice up my meal, I took one and - honestly - had a hard time getting the product out of the squeeze bottle. The tip of the bottle was blocked by what appeared to be dried out hot sauce, which I had to remove with a tissue and the edge of a fork. Either the product is a paste (which suggests the spout of the bottle should be larger) or the sauce was dried out. I don't know for sure. It was just unexpected.

I visited RASA at noon just before the lunch crowd arrive. Upon walking in, you get an immediate sense of trendy fast casual restaurant. The decor was great and the restaurant is clean! Ordering was easy. They have a build your own menu, as well as, a Chef Curated menu. I ordered the Tandoori Paneer Bowl, Spicy Chili Chicken Bowl and a side of Samosa Chaat. Everything was very tasty and priced properly to the area. If you have a craving for Indian, give RASA a try! Note: Parking was easy for me but I can see it being a pain during peak times!

I came to RASA on a Monday night for dinner with a friend. RASA is located off of Rockville Pike and shares a parking lot with other nearby restaurants such as Honeygrow, Cava, etc. The parking lot can get packed on the weekends though. RASA is setup so you can either select premade Indian inspired combinations or make your own. I decided to make my own bowl: - Basmati Rice as my Base (step 1) - Chicken Tikka as my Main (step 2) - Tomato Garlic as my Sauce (step 3) - Sautéed Spinach & Spring Chickpeas as my Veggies (step 4) - Corn Salsa as my Topping (step 5) - Mint Cilantro Chutney as my Topping Sauce (step 6) I loved that there were so many options for my custom bowl. Staff were friendly and kept the line moving quickly. I really enjoyed my dinner, it was very flavorful and everything seemed like it was freshly just made. There is plenty of seating available inside, where you can seat yourself. If you are craving Indian and want something fast and casual, I would recommend RASA :)

I had a fantastic dinner at RASA! This business has the cutest interior aesthetic, a fast moving line, and delicious menu items! I really love how well RASA labels their vegan items. I chose to purchase their Veggies and Vibes bowl which was labeled vegan, but you could also build your own bowl and navigate what items are vegan very easily. I chose to get the rice noodles in my bowl instead of the basmati rice. I highly recommend that modification. The rice noodles were a really fun texture and made me feel more full than just rice. They pack really densely in the bowl and seem to give you more bang for your buck. The best part of the bowl was the coconut ginger sauce. It was so creamy, savory, and comforting. I would drink that sauce I liked it so much. I also enjoy how their bowls are so colorful. You can get a variety of veggies in each bowl which provide a lot of different textures, flavors, and nutrients. This location is really cool as they have alcohol available. That is pretty rare for a fast casual spot like this. Additionally you should save room for dessert. Their vegan soft serve is a must try! Thanks RASA for a great experience and delicious meal! I will certainly be back!

Got the vegan black bean quesadilla and mixed berry muffin. At 99 cents each, the muffin is a great price. Back then the food quantity and the service were top notch-great service with a smile and good quantity portion size. Since then, everything has gone downhill and this place is hit or miss depending on who makes your food, not to mention that anything worth having or anything that is not a cheap item has been removed from the menu (ex: hearts of palm, and now even the popular jackfruit tacos!) Only the cheapest ingredients left behind such as beans, chickpeas, onions, cilantro so they can major profit more and more. The menu has become boring to everyone I know with no exciting new items but just the same old and taking away certain items that the customers love. (Other Moms locations I go to switch up their menus with yummy offerings that Ive never seen offered at this location) Their prices have also gone up quite a couple of times since before covid and on top of that their portion sizes have lessened by more than 50% and still they get stingy only at this location when scooping the scoops always shaking the spoon to lessen the portion of each scoop and still finding sneaky ways to raise the prices more or take away anything that might cost more. Ive also noticed they only hire Hispanics now which I don't care but they definitely do not give service with a smile and half the time they don't understand what you are asking for and get rude if you sub or ask for something that might require a change. I am Spanish so of course I understand the language and alot of times they talk bad or whisper to each other right in front of me when you are undecided or make changes to the menu items. In my opinion, a different manager is needed that values customer service as the current manager is rude and does not like when you ask for substitutions and very stingy as well with portion sizes. Back in the day if i wanted half a scoop of one topping and half of another on my tacos it was ok, not anymore. A lot of people who don't come here often rate good as a good lunch spot but when you come here consistency, you start to see the flaws and lack of service,
