Chicken teriyaki is ok. I've been there a couple of times and the chicken is not cut through all the way. Big piece and not in strips and too soft for my liking. Very poor and rude customer service. I had an issue with a pick up order and accidentally went to the wrong location. The woman who answered the phone at the Carson location was poorly trained. Rather than helping me to understand the issue, she repeated back instructions that didn't make sense and hung up on me. I've been a long time Rascals customer at other locations so this was disappointing and gives Rascal another ding when its reputation for doors and service already seems to be wavering. read more

Food is still great was worried that they may have changed the recipe but tastes exactly the same and bigger slices of chicken versus the one in redondo. Service is good waited about 10 minutes to get my food and order they were pretty busy today also it's nice to see the cashier from the redondo location move to Carson a familiar face they did hire some new people though. The building is brand new recently built use to be a liquor store there or a dairy mart. But it's well built but inside was kinda boring no music playing kinda quiet need some Halloween decorations and louder music. I've dined at the Gardena and Long Beach (until Long Beach on Bellflower closed) locations for years. I tried the Carson location and ordered two large Chinese Chicken Salads to go. One Chinese salad was with shredded chicken, and the second was a special order of dark meat, and I asked to have it on the side. I should have known the food would taste different from the other two locations I mentioned when they told me I couldn't have the dark meat on the side. This was the WORST salad that I had in my life. The shredded chicken was dry and tasted like cardboard, and the side of dark meat was dry, and neither had flavor. The lettuce was browning. I ended up throwing both salads away and the money I paid for them. I will never dine at the CARSON location EVER again! I'll go back to the Gardena location, no matter the distance. read more

Another employees told him to give me my food but he refused. He called his manager then I was given my order. The manager backed his employee never got an apology. Usually, I go to the one in Redondo, but I live in Carson, so it's way more convenient! Came here at 7:30 pm for dinner (takeout). This used to be a drive thru dairy mart when I was a kid maaaaaany years ago. The cashier was super nice and friendly (she had braces) and even offered me a free sample of the curry!
