This place was not raspado ice - Huge ice chunks that were too hard to chew i had to keep scooping them out. So I was just sipping on syrup with ice. I don't know what's wrong with this location, but this isn't what I'm used to of Raspado express.

Raspado Xpress is down the street from "Super Torta" and apparently another hang out of Yelp's Homegirl Violy..... Was full from the Torta and Nachos so just wanted to come check this spot out and sample what they have, will definitely be heading back to check out their wide variety of Raspados! Bionico's are more than chopped up fruit, it'a also about the Crema and up until now "Bionicos La Palapa" has been my favorite, I must say while I didn't get a Bionico, the crema here at Raspado Xpress is top notch! So I got 3 raspados and 2 esquites... but the esquites are raw, the corn it's hard uncooked. I'm calling but they won't answer...

I haven't been to Raspado Xpress in a while, I recently went on Tuesday and I wouldn't go back. The prices are reasonable for the size of raspados but for what they give no, the drink was filled with the flavor of raspado wanted but hardly even any ice and I nicely asked the lady for more ice and she hesitated. I had also ordered a churro and let me just say nothing like the picture they have, it looks like they made it with the pillsbury sheets. Over all a bad experience and everything I had bought went straight to the trash, please do better!

People on these reviews are trippin, this place was BOMB! It's definitely NOT fancy and on a little ghetto street (it's LA, everything good is on a little ghetto street) you can take to go, or enjoy it there on some benches. 5 drinks were 20$, and worth every penny! I got the spicy "Chamango" (4.50) and the mango was perfectly ripe and PLENTY in the cup. It's honestly a meal within itself because you get so full with one drink. What I liked most, was the spice to the Chamango, was the perfect level! It was not overly spicy, and the sweet level to the drink was also perfect with not being overly sweet, which is what usually happens at most raspado places. I'll definitely be returning to try all the other things. They even have a Mexican corn bowl for 3$ and fruit bowls w/cottage cheese for 4$ If you're in the area, and it's hot as hell like usual, definitely try this place! (;

I got the fruit bowl! They only have: mango, jicama, pineapple, watermelon, and cucumber as the fruit options. Unfortunately they don't have coconut like street fruit carts. Also their chili powder is not tajin FYI Nonetheless fresh, crisp, fruit.

My husband has been going on and on about how good this place is. I finally was able to taste for myself and it was delicious. I got what I think is called the besafresca which is a strawberry limeade with a bit of spice and it was delicious!! It was so refreshing and flavorful. Also I don't know how they do it but the drinks are made super fast!!! I used to go to a similar place and it was always a long wait, I appreciated the quick service.

I saw one of my friends post one of the raspados from here on Instagram, and I had to give this place a try. I got the Chamango with the tamarind candy in there (additional 50 cents). It was really sweet and spicy, just how I expected it. I just don't like the location, and it takes at took my Chamango 7 minutes to be ready. read more

So many great things on the menu! Went there a couple days ago and was very pleased with the chamoyada. My mom got a chamango and gave it a 5 because the mango was frozen and didn't seem fresh much the flavor was still good. But do recommend this place read more

Normally go to the one in Covina, while on my break I yelped "raspados" and was delighted to see they had one so CLOSE..... YAAASSSSS ;) My Raspado de nuez con extra lechera was great...only thing that annoyed me was the difficulty it takes to get in coming from the Burbank airport, all that traffic for a small street. What can I say, "First world problems" =) YOU'RE RASPADOS WERE ON POINT! read more

Love this place and everything they serve but waiting an hour for your order isnt nice at all, the one in sylmar is much faster you can order and get your order in no more than 15 minutes and the one in pacoima is always packed to but they're fast way faster than this one! read more

Have it in a cup and slurp chucks of mango, strawberry, papaya and ornage or order it as an entree on a plate with lemon and liquid chile covered fruit melody, either way you pallette will go crazy with fabulous flavor!! read more

I'm not aware if this is a chain or not but it's the only one I've ever been to and it's always a delicious or exciting experience. It's a very nice store for the area which is typically a little raggedy but its crisp clean and spiffy within. I'm always so curious to try new things since I know nowhere else that serves such options. I must always get their cottage cheese/fruit/nut bowl. I crave it. It's as good as a sundae. The best cottage cheese I've ever had. Their popular chili mango drink is great and intense. They have a strawberries and cream cup which is amazing as well. I've went with a watermelon/kiwi slush-smoothie on more then a couple occasions and love it. Everything is fresh delicious and natural tasting even their sweetest treats don't feel heavy going down. read more

I came to this store tonight at 9:30pm and the people (still working) told me they were closed. When showed them that I found their business hours online and it says the store is supposed to be closed at 10pm, one of the guys there told me that it needed to be fixed. The funny thing is that sometimes it closes at 9 and others at 10. Please fix it! read more

Perfect for hot a day, the raspados are delicious and they are refreshing. They have different type of raspados and delicious weird looking flavors. The down side is that the place looks kind of dirty and they don't take credit cards but other than I will give 5 stars read more

I used to go to this place every weekend and it is great! I have loved every flavor I have purchased. I do have to say that I know ahead of time that I may be there for a while just for a to-go order. They are understaffed and they may want to train their employees on better customer service, but the Raspados are good so I would still recommend them. read more

Says they close at 10 on a Saturday and I walked in. There's a group of people looking at us because we tried opening the door and they locked it. And it's only 9:15pm when we arrived. Idk if you guys close at 9 but it says 10. Try to update that and if you do close at 10 don't close the doors before. Idk if you guys are just too lazy to provide service and trying to close asap. Never again. What an embarrassment with people looking at us. read more

This place has no customer service experience whatsoever! The girls working here look miserable, and unfortunately we get stuck having to deal with it. So after going there a couple times , I am done. I rather go to the one in van nuys who have better customer service. ALSO THIS PLACE CLOSES AT 9 when yelp says 10pm ! This is always my go to spot for an authentic Mexican raspado. I have loved every flavor i've tried here but my top two favorites will always be the Chamango and BesaFresa raspados. Yumm! Try those if you haven't yet! Although this place is always super packed; staff here is great with getting their customers in and out as fast as possible. I never have to wait more than 10 min even on their busiest days. I love it here! If i could come everyday i definitely would hehe read more

Came to eat here, since I was craving a chamango, it did not disappoint!!!, the woman who took our order had no personality, but I didn't care, did not come here for entertainment. it did take a few min to get order, but again I ordered 6 items.. now keep in mind this is a small shopping center, but who cares, nothing around it has spacious parking. Oh and if your expecting shaved ice, you wont find it here, its a raspado! read more

The Raspado business started in a cart in the city of Pacoima, accross the street from our current location there. After family problems, Mom, and son joined forces. With the help of family and friends, began to build with their own hands, and tears, what is now RaspadoXpress in Laurel Canyon and Osborne in the same city.

Hopped on Yelp to find a coffee spot and Steeple House came up. Interestingly enough, the coffee shop is located within a church campus so it's a bit harder to find. We did get to find it thanks to a kind young man who directed us. Now, don't be afraid to stop in because it's located within a church campus. The coffee they serve are great. From Onyx to Black and White Coffee Roasters. The litmus test for how well a barista can do is ordering an espresso straight. My brother's shot was under extracted and he gave it a 2.5, mine was better and was a 3.5/4 Majority of shops will definitely pull shots and use roasts that are more in the classic profile which we don't really like, but it hits with 95 percent of "coffee snobs" we however, prefer true medium roasts that aren't "burnt" or "strong", but when most people are ordering iced lattes, we understand that you need that burnt taste in order to cut through all that milk. Service was great and the vibe is super chill. It's a relatively small shop but it's a nice place to study and to chill.

Like it's fully in a church village kind of thing. While drinking my coffee, little kids were brought out on their recess to play. So be aware of that, but there's also an inside section if you want a bit more quiet. The interior is really cute with free WiFi and fun drinks. The staff was very friendly and nice. I ordered the banana cold brew which was really good and my friend had the matcha latte. The chocolate croissant was also really good! Delicious! :)

i never write reviews but felt like this place deserved it. i was looking around for some coffee…read morespots nearby and found this place on apple maps and saw that they use only clean, non-toxic ingredients and knew i had to visit. i was a bit wary about it being located in someone's backyard but as i was walking through i was so charmed by the space. the barista was incredibly friendly and took her time to explain the menu and let me look at it. she made my drink (iced vanilla latte with whole milk) very quickly and this was one of the best lattes i've ever had. she even added a cute little cookie to go with it and it tasted really good! i will definitely be back in the future.

Their coffee based ice makes the drink feel so classy and keeps the flavor going as they melt also. I'd say the top drink for me would be their Horchata Latte which is their signature drink and it gives a great nutty warm flavor. They are very intentional about the coffee making process, the ingredients they use and their mission. It's really neat speaking with them about how they got to where they are today. Their outdoor space is quite calming and cozy and has neat wooden elements around. Customer service is top notch, as well. You always feel like their favorite customer. I'm literally obsessed with their drinks and frequent their space at least once a week. If you haven't gone by go do so. You definitely won't regret it!

This store is very clean and organized compared to the other liquor stores I have been to. They have a variety of alcoholic beverage and spirits. For parking, there is a small parking lot in front of the store which is shared with other businesses. It is usually to find a spot to park.

all you have to do is see the other 5 star ratings for this place...! im not gonna explain what a raspado is, look at Oliver S' post. but in short, on a hot summer day, or like tonight, a chilly californian winter, my fave is the yellow cherry / pineapple. my 2nd fave is, uhm, i dunno what they call it but if you've had the mango lollipop candy with chile on it, yeah that one, they make a raspado of that too...! be careful cuz my 1st sip i got a ton of chile in mouth...! this place will make you happy, your tummy even happier...! guarantee that...! & if you dont like it well,.. um i guess its 31 flavors for ya then eh...? read more

I wish I could give 0 stars ! This is the second time something happens to me coming here. First they had a crazy guy just wandering outside of their store and he grabbed me!! And today The guy worker there with colored eyes and a dweeb ass hair cut is such an asshole! I was looking at their menu and no one was in line all of a sudden a big ass line formed and I was finally ready I was just there waiting for him to ask me if I was ready and he never did he just kept taking the next person in line? Like hello you see me here why not just take my order real quick since i was in line and just looking at the menu. Asshole! read more

I have always been so in love with Mexican candy since I was young. Living in Los Angeles it was always around and I always had a tooth for it. I was told about this place by a friend so I came out with my sister to try it. It was so good!! I got the mango diablo raspado with the Mexican candy straw and my sister got the tamarind raspado. We actually loved it and even got it despite the fact that it was a bit chilly outside. They have great flavor and it actually tastes like real fruit as opposed to artificial syrup like most places have. read more

I am a huge fan of Respado's, however I am not impressed at all with this place. there is usually a line, which makes you think it will be good. I have been here twice and both times were just ehhh. First of at the place is not clean, the tables are sticky and both times has filthy floors. There service is slow and the Chamango was not as good as other places I have been. The only reason i am giving them two stars is because the lady who helped us was very nice. I would not recommend this place, because there is much better out there. read more

Gave it another shot , after 10 months absolutely terrible customer service . Wasn't even greeted , the cashier gave me attitude , very expensive , and once I received my order I said thank you twice when they handed my items , and didn't even get an acknowledgement or a simple your welcome . That's it I will never come back again . By the way don't waste your time calling to place an order over the phone they NEVER answer . read more

This is probably my favorite raspado place in my neighborhood ! The prices might be a bit pricey but the overall quality of the products is amazing! My girlfriend always comes home with these and she gets me a spicy one with strawberries in it and some other one called and chamango. This is the place to be during the summer! read more
