Been a long time visitor of this Boba Loca. It recently underwent new ownership/management, and they've been making more and more improvements each time I visit. The staff is very friendly and great with my two year old. They were very patient with us, and our drinks came out quickly. After a family dinner I asked my nieces if they wanted to check out a milk tea shop that we've never been. Nieces are always down for a new experience so off to the milk tea shop! I've seen the Boba Loca chain around for a long while now but never been. Walking into this shop I noticed a lot of old photos hung up on the wall. Other things such as food items that are no longer available and some drinks that are no longer availably. I feel that this location has seen better days. During my visit there wasn't even a place to sit down if you wanted to hang out. I made my order and was ready to leave as soon as I got the drinks. Didn't see anything that popped out as their specialty drink so I went with my go to which is Taro milk tea. I ordered 4 drinks and waited til we got home to drink them so we can drink them all together. (bought my sis one also) My taro was good. Was mild on the sweetness. But my sis and nieces' drinks were really sweet. I tried theirs and it made my drink taste like water. Overall it wasn't the best experience. Honestly I found this spot by total accident we were on our way to the movies and since it was hot we got some boba since it wasnt to busy which I very much enjoyed. The over atmosphere was family friendly and had a cute set up. The guy servers was very helpful and quick to give me and my friends our drinks rather quickly. Boba Loca is now my go-to spot for a boba drink. The boba is soft, just the right amount of chewiness and it's the best one I had in years! I love that they updated the place and added some new drinks! Their Thai Tea and Strawberry Matcha are just a couple of my favorite drinks to order when I'm there. The boba here isn't frozen everyone!! For some reason this place's boba gets cold if your drink is a blended drink like frapps, slushes, or smoothies. But if it's an over ice drink, your boba is just fine! I personally like the cold boba because it's a different texture and it's still edible. Staff here are basically all youngsters but they're pretty friendly. They recognize familiar faces and if you come often enough you won't even have to say your order, they'll have it memorized!! I'm a bit surprised to see some of the bad reviews. My order was fine. Wasn't the best but over-all pretty decent. Location - I appreciated that it was in a fairly quite stripmall. I came mid-day on a weekend and there was plenty of parking. The store is small but its a togo place so makes sense. Service - The service was great. Everyone was very nice and a bit unusually enthusiastic considering it was incredibly hot. They had AC but the temperature in the store was not (in my opinion) comfortable. Thumbs up to the staff for always keeping a smile on. Our Drinks - Ordered a boba milk tea/coffee mixed with Boba and Grass jelly. The mix was good and the boba and grass jelly seemed fine. I was just excited they had grass jelly! Forgot what I ordered for my wife but it was good. Is it the best I've ever had? No, but definitely serviceable. Drinks came out fairly quickly. Price - To be honest, I don't recall exactly what we paid but I remember the pricing to be fairly average. Would I come back? Definitely. It's only about 15 minutes from my home and across the street from 99 ranch. Can definitely see myself swinging by regularly in the future. read more

I believe all small businesses always try's to make a great impact on all customers, customers are the key source to any business. With that being said this business needs to HIGHLY train their employees. Not only was I greeted by a young lady who seemed to be miserable at her job, but she & another employee messed up 3 different orders including mine. The owner instead of taking charge started to make the atmosphere uncomfortable by yelling & belittle his employees. There is a time and place for that but at that moment the orders just needed to be fixed. Other than that the Boba was great, its not the product its the customer service. read more

I took my girlfriend here because she was craving it and had a bad day so nothing better to cheer her up than her almond milk tea. When I got to the plaza, there was some open parking spots but before covid, good luck finding parking and its a pretty small lot. I'm used to the Burbank location but this one is closer to my house so I came to this one. They have covers instead of plexiglass for their protection. They also charge 35 cents extra if you pay by card so be aware. I was so bummed they didn't have grape as a selection for the slush so I got the green apple. It was so good but it took about 15 minutes to make. That was the only bad part was waiting for my slushi. They also have some dessert selection if you're craving that, I saw pizza but they had a notice that it was unavailable. This place enforce mask, so if you're not wearing one they'll kick you out because they have the "Right to refuse service sign" They also have a notice that if you're going to cough or sneeze, then go do it outside. read more

The drink itself is good. You can't ever go wrong with thai tea boba. The service is pretty slow, but its the pandemic? I don't know. However, they have a lot of options which is a plus.
