I first contacted Rat Exclusion Services last year when I heard rats in my walls. Eric sent somebody the next day. He found where they were getting under the house in 2 places, sealed them up, and set traps in the attic, under the house, and outside where they were coming in. They monitored the traps over two weeks, and removed the trapped ones. About 3 weeks ago, we again heard noises from under the house! I went all around looking and couldn't see where they were getting in. I was frustrated, to say the least, then remembered (?!!##) I was told I had a TWO year warranty. I called and Eric came out the next day. He walked all around the house and within 3 minutes, he found a VERY small hole where they had eaten their way in under the chimney overhang. I was so desperate to get rid of those rats so I tried calling two companies, one was Discrete rodent proof. The guy didn't find the rats entrances, he tried to use scared tactics most of all and tried charging high price. The other was the western exterminator, they charge the inspection fee. If I could, I'd give Eric and his business 10 stars! He REALLY knows his business, is punctual, friendly and efficient. His wife Donna is a gem! She helps schedule the appointments and calls the day before to remind you of Eric's appointment. Once Eric felt our situation was under control (Petaluma roof rats, we live by the creek) he sealed off all points of entry, including cutting back the trees that could possibly provide access to the roof. Everything was great for several months. The good news is, Eric has a one-year guarantee. The bad news, we had another infestation. Eric came back and reassessed the situation. He found the point of entry and resealed it. This was no fault of Eric. We had a rat problem that another service failed to completely resolve after almost two years of attempts. When the problem got worse, I decided to give another service a try. Eric showed up within an hour of my initial call. He did a thorough inspection, including foundation, crawl space and attic, and quickly found several incursion points the other service had missed as recently as the prior day. I have seen Eric's very low-tech advertising on small signs stuck near the road here and there and gave him a call after jotting down the number in early autumn. Eric came out, gave me an estimate and to my great joy, left me a note on Halloween noting that he had removed two rats from the crawlspace under my house, and sealed points of entry.
