The five stars are solely for the staff!!! I visited the Cooper St. location in Arlington on 6/14/22. I was greeted warmly by a number of servers. When my friends arrived they too were greeted warmly. One young lady welcomed us after the others and she said she just wanted to make sure we were greeted! Our server David was very professional and attentive! If any server made eye contact they all smiled! As we were leaving David had beat us to the door and was holding it for us! Service was impeccable! Now the food, not so much! I had looked at menu before and was thinking about Stuffed Shrimp. When my friend suggested it I felt it was a sign! Well the sign was STOP! I had scheduled a pick up on door dash but decided to have a drink since I saw it was a Tuesday drink special. Sat at table and advised waitress/bartender I had a pick up order. She proceeded to tell me where to go get it instead of bringing table to me since I was dining. Simple order I had was incorrect. Advised waitress & she seemed to have attitude to get what I actually had ordered. Friend and I ordered drinks. It's a special so not too much high expectation but the service just went downhill. It wasn't busy at all! No one in bar area or dining. Waitress wasn't assertive and only came to ask if we was ready for ticket. At that point yes! I used to enjoy that place but won't be back. This was our first spot we ate at when we got to TX. We came for dinner and I would say it's kind of the southern cousin of Joe's Crab shack. Decorations were wild and loud. Our server was prompt and attentive. So our goal was to order things we normally wouldn't. We got the wings and a dip that had crawfish in it. Both appetizers we're pretty dang tasty! The wings were super crispy and had a light spice but good over all flavor. The dip had good flavor as well, it was almost like a cheesy parmesan flavor with a creole flavor, then you spread it on a buttery oiece of toast=perfect! Our main meal I ordered a seafood platter that came with shrimp, crawfish and 2 pieces of catfish, all fried. The flavoring was good fried to golden perfection. My husband got what I would equate to the southern style Cordon Bleu. It was a chicken breast over ham and potatoes with a sauce that was pretty good. We ordered a couple of drinks and those were pretty good, especially since they actually contained alcohol! read more

Visited Razzoo's @ 4001 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX 76015 on 10/30/22 for my son's 22nd bday dinner with a party of 10. It started off with drinks being ordered and appetizers. To speak for my ticket which included 6 people. The drinks came out wrong to begin with. I had to wait for my water w/no ice until appetizers were already being eaten at the table. No drink refills were given throughout entire meal until we were almost done eating. One appetizer was not received until main course was almost finished. My son (the birthday celebrated) food was messed up twice and by the time he received his food everyone was almost finished eating. My sister-in-law and niece never received part of their food. At this point everyone was over it. The manager which we were told name's was Jeff came out and stated he was going to ensure everything would go smoothly afterwards and apologized ... he stated he would do whatever it took to make it right. (even though everything was well over). He stated he had a complimentary desert coming out which baffled me because that was already a given due to the birthday celebration. We were told he would get a complimentary desert for his bday anyway. The name of the waiter was said to be Trey - but my receipt says ... 892 - Johnny. The manager never came back out. No discount was given and the 18% tip was still included on all 3 separate receipts, not giving us an option to opt out of a tip for such horrible service ... my ticket alone was $144.16!!!! I paid $114.16 for missing food, wrong food, delay in food, no drink refills, upset family members, a disappointed son, overall poor customer service and a manager who showed his face one time and didn't do anything to ensure us as customers would be satisfied or return. I am so disappointed and at a loss - this is coming from someone who in the past was a waitress for over 7+ years and still today in customer service. Unacceptable!!!! read more

Had a nice dinner with my friends a while back. We had shrimp po boys and catfish platters. The food was really good. Had few beers that were served nice and ice cold. Only real complaint was that it took some time to get our order taken and or food brought out. It seemed like it was because they were a bit short staffed that night tho and not due to like, bad service or anything. We could tell our waitress was working hard and she was really friendly, she just had a lot to do as we could see she was on the move constantly. Overall a pretty good experience. Next time we go we might plan for when it isnt dinner rush hours. read more

My husband & I decided to stop here because I had a taste for their wings. We ordered wings & our meal at the same time although the wings were intended to be an appetizer. My husband started eating on a wing & while he was eating it I saw that it was bleeding. I said don't eat another bite! I immediately called the waiter over, showed him the wing & asked for a manager. The manager who refused to give his real name, told us to refer to him as KJ because everyone at corporate knows him as KJ. Although the wing was self explanatory, I told him that we received a batch of raw wings. He had an attitude about it & the most negative energy! He said well I can send these back & bring you another order. He didn't say I'm sorry this happened, are you feeling okay? Or I can replace these for you & take care of charges? Would you like a dessert on the house? Nothing to show any empathy for the situation. After he picked up the wings to remove them from the table, I told him I had taken a picture for evidence in case my husband gets sick. He just looked at me with a blank stare, again no apology or compassion. I lost my appetite after that & decided not to eat the meal I'd ordered. My husband ate his meal due to medical reasons. Our waiter came over and apologized several times as well as checked on us. I told him that he should be the manager because he has more compassion for customers than the one that is actually in the position. I am done eating here after this experience! I visit this establishment on 05.12.2023 after a friend's graduation, and the services was horrible. The frozen drinks weren't frozen. The waitress forgot to place one of our friend's order and lied about it. When the friend finally received her food, which took forever (everyone was finish eating) some of it was cold...especially the fries. The waitress never checked on us. The manager Ro Raz was unprofessional in the way he handled things that night. I spoke with the Area Manager Matt Hubbard a few days later, and he apologized, and then lied saying he would be sending a gift card for our trouble and inconvenience which he did not. I use to like this place, but the food and service has become subpar, and the food is all that great anymore. This is one of my all time fav places to eat. I've never had a bad meal at Razzoos . This is my first time to try the one here at this location. The last time I tried here the wait was almost an hour . I'm never waiting anywhere with that kind of wait. But shockingly there was no wait at all today. As usual the food was great and so was the atmosphere . And The service here was very friendly . I had the gator tail which is always a good choice. The only negative was we ordered drinks and it took forever. We were half way done with our meal when they finally arrived and one of the drinks was wrong. This is by far the best Razoos in the metroplex. The sea food actually came hot and flavored the way I believe the restaurant intended. The other Razoos I've been to had muted flavors or cold food. I ate at the bar and the bar staff took time out to introduce themselves and make sure I knew I could count of them for great service. read more

Razzoo's is the place to go for your Cajun food fix. I know they are a chain restaurant but that is not an excuse not to like them. I have been a fan of Razoo's for many years. And this location at the Parks Mall does a great job at making some good Cajun seafood. My favorite is the Cajun Etoufee, Crawdaddies 2-ways, and Cajun Tricky Fish. I have had most of the food on the menu and it is all good. You get very large portions and it is cooked perfect. The mixed drinks are very good and they go great with the food. The restaurant can be busy on the weekend you will have a 30 minutes to 1 hour wait. The service is good no complaints. Razzoo's has some great Cajun food. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered the: Raw oysters (half dozen), (Chicken) Cajun Etoufee, and the Fried Cat Basket. Oysters: was disappointed since the portions were so tiny :( as for how it tasted, it was just ok. I've had better. Cajun Etoufee: Smelled great and there was a lot of it. The rice was very fluffy and seasoned well, as for the sauce it had such a bold flavour that it almost tasted spicy (none the less, was still delicious) I was very skeptical on getting chicken with this dish mainly because other yelpers had gone with the crawfish and secondly, what I hate the most?: dry chicken. Thankfully the chicken was moist and everything on the dish was yummy! The bread that came along with it soaked in the sauce and I finished it within seconds. I was craving oysters for the longest time, and some recommendations led me to Razzoo's. No regrets at all (except maybe eating too much)! We got there around 7:30, unfortunately missing happy hour, and ordered a dozen oysters, crawfish étouffée, and the seafood combo platter. The portions were HUGE! We walked out completely stuffed. The oysters were very fresh and delicious, a great way to start the meal. The crawfish étouffée had an amazing flavor. I've only had étouffée twice and first time was in NOLA. I wasn't disappointed! The combo seafood platter was huge, probably share between two people next time. Overall the food was great. Our server was Julio who was also training someone at the time, and they both took care of us very well. As a waitress myself I tend to notice when there's something wrong pretty fast, but this was one of the few times I didn't have a problem at all. Thanks for the great food and great service! Not being a local Texan...there isn't much Cajun food in VA so anything close is awesome for me. Razzoos is an interesting place in that it is a franchise so it has a lot of outlandish decor which gives you alot of things to look at while your waiting for food. The Menu is straight forward but a bit confusing because everything is bunched up. Almost like your reading a comic book.. cool concept just not as efficient. A friend and I had a hard time deciding what we wanted. She had been before and always ordered the étouffée so this was her chance to try something different. We both agreed that the Cajun Skillet combo sounded good but we weren't sure it was a if enough to share so I kindly asked our waitress how big the combo was. She said that the entree was mostly rice and that most people don't finish it by themselves they usually finish half and take the other half home. She suggested ordering a protein since there isn't a whole lot of meat in the combo. Her suggestion was the stuff'd shrimp which was shrimp stuffed with crabmeat in a cream sauce. So we decided to share those 2 entrees. The Cajun Skillet Combo came with 1 grilled andouille sausage, crawfish étouffée,zesty shrimp creole and red beans and rice, corn and toasted French bread. They were nice enough to split it into 2 separate portions. The stuffed shrimp was split also we substituted fried okra for the rice and it also came with black eyed peas. Food: the grilled andouille sausage was okay it had a nice snap to it but flavor wise nothing overly special about it . The crawfish étouffée was pretty good you saw actual pieces of crawfish on top. The Zesty Shrimp Créole was okay..lacked a bit of flavor to it. The red beans and rice were really good nice spice and just over all tasty. The corn was a bit overcooked its that soft stick your teeth corn. I personally like my corn a bit firmer especially if its on the cob. Although the seasoning on the corn was really good. The stuffed shrimp was okay the crabmeat flavor was there but because the filling was so mushy it was hard to tell. The shrimp were cooked perfectly nice bite on them. The fried okra wasn't bad either it had a nice cornmeal crust. The black eyed peas were very good also... a bit soft but the flavor was rich and hearty. Overall...our waitress was very nice... she made some good suggestions. It was also very nice of them to be able to split our order in half to accommodate us. The flavor was very good. I came to this location for some Cajun food because it was highly recommended. When arriving the restaurant was fairly busy in the wait time was extended because it was dinner rush. Once seated my mother ordered a cosmopolitan which she said was really good and I ordered the house daiquiri. The fried pickles weren't too greasy but they were a little salty for my taste. I also ordered for my main dish the shrimp Po boy and it was very large and I couldn't finish it all but it was very good. I think Razoos is a very reasonably priced restaurant. Great for a second date location, or going out with friends for drinks. I definitely will be revisiting this location if I have another craving for Cajun food. read more

We came here for my Boyfriend's birthday and it was just alright. Now I'm not a seafood/Cajun food eater. So I'm basing this review on what I had. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, takes a lot to screw that up, it was good. But the appetizer we got was the Chicken Cajun Fondue. It was just like a spicy, creamy sauce with chicken. I guess when I hear Fondue, I think nice and cheesy and good. The sauce I didn't care for it all at, but It was served with nice garlic bread pieces, and for all that it was (or wasn't) I thought $8.79 was a little much. On the other end, my Boyfriend got the Stuffed Shrimp and he asked them to add bacon (to make it wrapped in bacon) which he normally orders here, and I believe they only charged is an extra $2 to upcharge for the bacon, so that wasn't bad. First thing, call in if you plan on going on the weekend. This place gets extremely busy, like hr wait busy. We called in 30 min before and got sat within 20 min. We had the fried pickles and wings for appetizers. My favorite here. The batter on the wings are delicious with a but of spice. And you can never go wrong with fried pickles. We shared an entree (forgot the name): fried crawfish, étouffée, fries, and hush puppies. I loved that they automatically split our plate, less hassle when you're trying to share. Our waiter always seemed like she was in a rush. She dropped off our check 10 after we got our entree...come on, we're barely eating! Even after seeing my full plate and after picking up our check, she did not offer a to go box, I had to ask for it... Overall the food is good. Met a friend at this location on the Sunday before Fat Tuesday. The place was packed but fortunately I didn't have a long wait since I chose to sit in the bar area. I saw a special for $5 rat toes ( shrimp stuffed jalapeños deep fried) and ordered that as an appetizer. I ordered the shrimp and cat combo along with a peach mambo alcoholic beverage. The rat toes were freshly cooked and delicious! The fish was also great but I was disappointed to see that I mostly had fried, a catfish fillet cut into half and a decent amount of shrimp. Overall, my meal was good but... the adult beverage was another story! It tasted like a soda but one that's not strong or flat. I could taste a hint of peach but no liquor!!! I sent the drink back and got a hurricane on ice which also was weak. Going forward, I'll just stick to the food based on the weak libations.
