Tried their americano and did not enjoy it at all. My friend tried one of their signature drinks but we both thought it was too sweet. I wouldn't recommend this place for good coffee/tea, but if you like sugary drinks this might be you. I tried their Strawberry Matcha, which was good, but this is a really popular drink right now and I've had better ones at various places around LA. It was quite good though! And the freeze-dried strawberry topping is a nice touch. I also tried a pistachio scone, which again was good, but nothing I'd need to return for. The perfect coffee shop a city like Alhambra needs. The best matcha in Alhambra/Monterey Park easily and the lattes are amazing as well. The drinks are so creative and delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness too! I haven't tried many of the pastries because I have a gluten allergy (maybe they'll make some gf options ;) ) but in general I am so happy this place opened. It's exciting to see a new cafe open up in the area. Love the interior design and the large communal tables that encourage sitting and getting work done. Drinks and baked goods were great, highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee cookie. It's a bit out of the way off of Main Street at one of the new apartment complexes so I really hope it's able to take off in popularity over time. A friend of mine shared information about this new Coffee Shop and Bakery that's opening up in Alhambra, and if you follow Alhambra businesses like I do.. you know that it's been a hub for new coffee shops in recent times. Here's another one that jumping into the pool! At first glance, I thought this was going to be like Da Vien or AK Fresh Roast because it says Asian-Inspired Coffees. It's not, they're more like Kumquat, Loquat, and Mandarin for all you coffee connoisseurs! I ordered their Re:Bakesic Tonic and it's an espresso Tonic with a hint of Apple. It did not disappoint, by the time I was got to my car on the 5th floor of the parking structure, I was done with my drink! It was light and refreshing, almost forgot I was drinking a coffee. They have a nice display of baked goods and I usually avoid baked goods at coffee shops, but the way they present them and describe them was too enticing to not give it a try. I ended getting the Hojicha Pistachio Scone and the Sesame Banana Bread, and both were very good and I'd definitely try the other ones next time. My boyfriend got the gone nuts coffee and we agreed it was very bitter, not the good kind. Not sure if it was the black sesame or coffee. I got the matcha kinako and it was okay, not enough matcha but the perfect sweetness (i like my drinks bland), but they do offer syrup and agave in the back for those who prefer to add more sweetness to their drinks. Yes, tastes are totally Subjective but when you share a pastry with 6 people and no one really cared for it, I think that speaks for itself. Not that it makes a difference, but the people who tried the bread are all from various ethnicities. So we had various tastes profiles. My niece who had gone the week prior to me said the place was not good and expensive. She was actually so disappointed that she was mad about spending money for things that weren't great. My friend who picked up the bread said you know how much I didn't like it when I took one bite and it's still sitting on my counter. I understand that it's difficult to hear bad reviews as a small business, but you could also be open to listening to what the low ratings are saying and see if it's something to look into and learn from it.
