This place is pretty cute came here because I saw on Instagram mochi wrapped around mango. I came in the afternoon and unfortunately they ran out. I got the Hoji Cha tea with strawberry cream. That was pretty good. My date got the coffee and thought it was OK, but nothing special. I would come here again if the mango mochi became part of their regular menu. Cookies were pretty good. I got the chocolate chip walnut and it was nice because it came out of the oven. As for the ambience, it was cute and simple. The people were nice and good amount if seats for people to sit. I suggest to park in the sprouts parking lot next to it.

5/17/26 Finally here! Hey Christy, I was looking forward to the mochi scone, but they were completely all out of everything!

5/17/26 Thanks to fellow Yelp Friends (kudos to Sam, Ian & Christy), this cafe intrigued me. The shop is modern with cute & clean designs, pastel colors, friendly, amiable & serious baristas (hey, the espresso machine is La Marzocco, I'm impressed), they sure make great beverages! Of course, I went on a Sunday at about 2 pm, the pastry boards barely had any crumbs left. I was so looking forward to trying the mochi scone that Christy recommended. This gives me an excuse to return another day to try other items and that mochi scone. I'm feeling generous, so I give a 5 star off the bat--and I haven't even tried their pastries that my Yelp friends are going nuts for. There's a parking garage, which I think is free (Hubby just dropped me off). Did not visit their facilities. The patrons ranged from students to older adults, sitting &/or just picking up beverages. The note stated LAST CALL for espresso at 3:30 pm. NO CASH transactions. All in all a great experience. I'm definitely impressed with the quality. taste & smoothness of the beans used here. Service with a smile sealed the deal for me. *** UPDATE: 5/29/26 Sent Hubby to scope out what's left on the pastry shelf at 10 am and finally got me the matcha strawberry mochi scone. KUDOS to Christy-- definitely worth the hype (hi to Nevin too) Oh me oh my! I first tasted the matcha, a tiny bit of the strawberry BUT oh WowZaH- the MOCHI part was the superstar!!! Ooey, not so gooey but so daRn mochi-licious, love that streeeeetchh. Worth a TRY if you love matcha and mochi combo. I'm a FAN! :-) \(^0^)/

First time visiting Re Bakesic to get some work done with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff greeted me as soon as stepped up to the counter. Good drink options, but no decaf for those of who are caffeine-sensitive. Lots of yummy and freshly baked pastries. The space is clean, warm, and welcoming. It was quiet with ample table space and seating. Very appreciative of the free wifi and multiple outlets! Clean code-entry bathroom. Easy enough parking in the structure or nearby plaza parking lots. Will be back again to do work while enjoying good coffee and pastries.

Sesame cookie

Do you want to try a new coffee shop with tasty drinks and cute cookie flavors? Well, this is one of them, and I love how cute the interior is, too! Today I ordered a pandan coffee which also has milk inside and it is iced on a nice hot day. Don't forget to stir your drink when you get it. Tasty and delicious and I also got a sesame cookie as well. Overall fun times and great space to just hang out and chat for!

Wow. Just freaking wow. This place is amazing as heck. I have yet to try the rest of their drinks but their mango matcha is so so good. Their mango mochi which they had a limit of 1 per order was also so good. The cold brew had a fruity taste, the beans they used had such a distinct flavor we think it's one of the best we've tried. This place is so underrated. We will be back!

Oreo daifuku and spam kimchi hand pie

Nice staff, lots of parking, and amazing baked goods!! I absolutely love the interior here too- lots of natural light, white and peach tones, and natural wood. I like getting their iced matcha latte but today I opted to try the iced early grey matcha latte (with oat milk.) Very clearly a nice earl grey flavor and not too sweet. Lots of places I have to ask half sweet for their matcha but not here! They typically use agave as their sweetener in their iced matcha latte but they have simple syrup if that's more your vibe like it is mine :) I always love coming here and trying their delicious pastries and food made in-house. Today I tried a spam kimchi hand pie and it was SO GOOD. Absolutely delightful. I love that they keep making new pastries. I also got the oreo daifuku and it was delicious - so soft and chewy. Great place to come chill and drink good matcha. Coming back for sure!

Ube something! So delicious and soft
Lina L.

Came for the pastries. Ube cookie was so delicious, hard on the outside but soft and melts in your mouth. Best cookie I ever had. The drink wasn't to my liking, it was just interesting but I guess I need something more basic. Overall I'll still come here and try a different drink. Definitely coming back for the cookies.

Earl grey matcha, matcha, green tea

On Saturday afternoon tried the matcha, earl grey matcha, green tea, & cookie - $32 with tip Everything was okay. When I was ordering, I felt a bit rushed when I was talking to my friends discussing if we wanted to order more cookies, but the person taking my order kept asking what milk option I wanted. The person wasn't rude about it but seemed unnecessary

Spring Menu Drink: childhood memories and zen bloom
Ada W.

Really enjoyed trying the spring menu at Re:Bakesic--everything felt creative and well thought out. We tried a mix of their seasonal pastries and drinks, and nothing disappointed. The Matcha Strawberry Mochi Scone was one of my favorites--the matcha flavor was nicely balanced with the strawberry, and the mochi added a fun chewy texture. The Easter Pistachio Chocolate Mochi Egg Tart was not only super cute but also very rich and satisfying. The combination of pistachio and chocolate worked really well, and the mochi inside gave it an extra layer of texture. Tried their spring menu "Childhood Memory" and "Zen Bloom", I think they were just okay. Overall, I love how their menu combines unique flavors without being overly sweet. Great spot if you're looking for something a little different from your usual dessert and coffee places.

Cute pink counter

Pretty good new tea spot for the area. They have some unique cookie flavors, although I was just here for a quick iced drink on a hot day. There's a decent amount of seating if you want to have a conversation too, plus a restroom. Onto to the drinks, the wait did take a while but you can tell they use care with mixing the matcha and the staff was very nice to apologize when they got to serving my drink since the wait was longer for mine. I got a nicely made matcha apple tonic. This is probably a first for me, but everything was well balanced and a good amount of matcha. It actually gives off more fall flavors but I'm here for it. Nice spot that I can see myself back for more items.

Corn cookie, white rabbit cookie, apple matcha tonic, earl grey matcha latte, osmanthus honey latte x2
Ashley Y.

Glad I gave this place another chance! In a city full of boba places, a good matcha and coffee is much appreciated especially if I don't have to drive to ktown. Osmanthus Honey Latte ($6.50) -- Very smooth, not too sweet, slightly floral, good! Apple Matcha Tonic ($7.25)-- Bright, citrus, crisp, the matcha is nice and strong, not my flavor profile though wouldn't get again Earl Grey Matcha Latte ($7)-- Surprisingly sweet? It tastes like cereal milk. Don't smell/taste the earl grey at all. I like the regular matcha latte better. Corn cookie ($5) -- Nice and chewy, tastes like cornflakes! White rabbit cookie ($6?) -- Kind of flat like very flat melted down cookie, sweet and chewy! Of today's choices I would get the osmanthus coffee and corn flake cookie again. And last time (unpictured) the hot matcha latte was also good.

Strawberry Field Coffee ($6.50 - 12oz) - Close Up

I had a lovely experience at Re Bakesic (Alhambra). I ordered the Strawberry Field Coffee ($6.50 - 12oz). It's Strawberry Puree, two Shots of Espresso, Milk, and Strawberry Cream. I felt awake and happy after sipping. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Re Bakesic (Alhambra) on Friday (around 8:30AM). Parking is easy. There's a large parking garage. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Staff maintained a pleasant, cheery demeanor during my visit. My drink took two minutes and 22 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered the Strawberry Field Coffee ($6.50 - 12oz). Without mixing, I immediately tasted fresh milk and cream. However, the magic occurs only after being thoroughly stirred; the taste of freshly roasted coffee blossoms, and it's quickly entangled among the tangy, fresh flavor of strawberries. There's hidden strength with this coffee, and it's delightful. My biggest nitpick will be the coffee's small 12oz size; regardless, it's prepared very well. Regarding ambiance, Re Bakesic (Alhambra) is a welcoming, clean, and cute location. The pastel colors felt comfy and calming. This location also has three electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are on the counter. And there's a customer gender neutral restroom. I also appreciated the self-service water station. The location also felt spacious with its tall ceiling. There's two long tables and four tiny tables. The music is also chirpy, upbeat music. Overall, I had a delightful experience at Re Bakesic (Alhambra). Staff is welcoming and professional; ambiance is comfortable and clean; and the coffee is fresh & delicious. If searching for some tasty coffee options, I happily recommend! 4.9 out of 5

Kinako matcha
Jasmine D.

Such a lovely little coffee shop! Stopped by on a Tuesday to get some work done and I was greeted by friendly staff who offered some great recommendations. I ended up getting the kinako matcha, which is a matcha latte topped with a roasted soybean powder cream - I absolutely loved it and would recommend this drink if you're looking for something a little bit different/Asian inspired. I forgot to adjust the sweetness but the drink came out not too sweet which was perfect! Their cookies also looked delicious too - they have some unique flavors like gochujang and corn cookies. Would recommend the cafe as a place to get some work done - they have 2 large communal tables and a few smaller tables. They have free wifi as well an attached free parking structure, which is a huge plus. Definitely will be back to try more of their drinks and baked goods!

Good drinks. I like the flat white latte. Not good service though because barista was rude to us. Not coming back.

Amazing taiyaki spot!…read more There's not too many in the SGV and they offer them at such an affordable price with tons of filling options. We also got a plain milk soft serve and it was probably one of the creamiest milks soft serve we've ever had. The self serve toppings bar is also a nice touch. The taiyaki came out pretty quick as well and they are located right next to golden deli, perfect to spot to grab some dessert after a warm bowl of pho.

This is in the same tiny plaza as Golden Deli and Bopomofo, so parking can be tough at peak dinner time. The good: the taiyaki texture was nice and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and not icy. The price is good for amount you get. The bad: the store was extremely cramped and hot. It's a very tiny shop so easily felt packed inside. I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. The custard in the taiyaki was just okay. The worst part was that the taiyaki had a really off putting taste on the outside... almost like the aftertaste of margarine or something, it bothered me. Overall the flavor and service was lacking and the experience inside was not good. I was not impressed by any aspect and would not recommend this place unless you were already dining in this plaza and wanted to just walk over.

Patisserie Too - Heating up the croissant egg tart and Portuguese egg tart, so good

They do not have their own parking lot, but there is free street parking + other free parking lots around, so I had to walk a short distance there. When I came inside, I was greeted by two employees. The interior was clean and cute, but there's no seating, so definitely a grab-and-go spot. Although I mainly came for the Portuguese egg tarts, I also wanted to try their other offerings. I ended up ordering 3 Portuguese egg tarts ($0.99 each), 1 caramel croissant egg tart ($1.75), 1 cheese tart ($1.75), and 1 coconut tart (1.765) for my family and I to try. Everything was pretty affordable and looked so delicious! Out of everything we got, the Portuguese egg tart was the best. The egg custard was reminiscent of egg tarts you get at dim sum (which is a positive imo), and the crust was flaky! It was super yummy. Second best was coconut tart: the coconut filling was tasty with a nice tart crust. The cheese tart and caramel croissant tart were fine but nothing special. Surprisingly, I thought the caramel croissant tart wasn't as good as the Portuguese egg tarts. Overall though, super solid pastries especially given the price! Who doesn't love $0.99 egg tarts? I would definitely visit again just for the Portuguese egg tarts, and I highly recommend trying Patisserie Too!

Beyond the adorable presentation, it was light, creamy, and wonderfully balanced. The mango flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and it wasn't overly sweet, which is probably one of the highest compliments from an Asian perspective. I also picked up a few Portuguese egg tarts (unfortunately forgot to take photos before they disappeared), and they were fantastic as well. The flaky pastry and rich custard filling made them an easy favorite. It's the kind of item that's consistently good every time you visit. Between the beautiful presentation and the quality of the desserts, Patisserie Too continues to be one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving something sweet. Highly recommended!
