The Ready-To-Go Movers were true pros. They showed up on time, and moved my entire 2-floor 1100 sq ft town home into my storage unit in less than 5 hours. This time included wrapping all my art and furniture, AND moving my entire home gym. They even moved my enormous king mattress around the tight 90 degree turn in my stairs that stumped the movers who brought it in (the team that brought it in almost quit on trying to bring the mattress up). Kyle and his team were great, they worked very fast to complete my move in four hours, all in the rain! I had to roll my eyes a little at the "excessively heavy item" surcharge of $150 per heavy item, as this is the entire reason I am hiring movers because the items are large and heavy. One dresser was over this threshold - I offered to remove the drawers so it wouldn't be so heavy, but they moved it as-is and charged me the $150. I hired Ready to Go movers to finish a move job that didn't go so well. I knew I was going to be hard pressed to find same-day or next day movers. Helen did some coordinating and was able to connect me to Kyle and his crew for the next morning. They were early, and truly were "Ready to Go." As I had done with the previous movers, I took them on a tour of old and new offices (we were moving between floors in the same complex) and explained my labeling/colored dots map. Kyle then took me through all of the paperwork and the move process, explaining every fee (there weren't many) and we agreed beforehand what constituted a "heavy item" so there were no surprises. He also thanked me for the effort I put into mapping the items, but also explained to me that my presence at the new office space would be the most helpful. It was nice to actually know what would be most helpful to them rather than guessing and hoping my efforts did the job. We finished up our intros and went on our ways. Kyle and his crew got going very quickly. They had all the heavy stuff leftover from the previous movers. They were vvery efficient and personable. We were able to work out any space issues (I was trying to cram a large office into a small office). Man, did they get through everything quickly. They took almost half the time of the other movers and did twice the work. And everything was handled with care! They took everything apart and put everything back together without losing one bolt or skipping a beat. It was awesome. Both my boss and I were impressed. Wonderful Movers!! Very easy to work with, and super nice and respectful people! I was in a bind needing a mover for the very next day. After putting out a request on Yelp for my needs; which were to simply move a couch, chair and a couple pictures, I got back about 10 responses. Not only were they super responsive getting back to me in less than half hour, but they even offered someone for that afternoon!! They also gave me a flat fee quote for the move. Everyone else either sent a very long quote with all kinds of per item, moved, etc charges. Most needed me to call them, and i wasn't somewhere I could call. I communicated with them through Yelp, they were so easy to work with!! They said they'd show up between 9-930 today and like clockwork they arrived at 9am! Couldn't have asked for nicer and more professional people than Kyle and Igor who handled my furniture move. If I could give them 10 out Of 5, I would but it only allows 5/5! We needed a single piece of furniture, a very heavy antique secratary desk, moved from the 1st floor to the second floor.
