This past weekend, I used REAL RockNRoll Movers and they truly lived up to their name. Total rockstars from start to finish! Leading up to the move, their communication was excellent. They clearly set expectations, sent emails/texts to explain the moving process and provided straightforward pricing with no surprises. I also really appreciated how accessible the team was; every time I called, someone picked up right away, and I could tell it was a real human thoughtfully responding to my questions over text and email. What was supposed to be a straightforward one-day move turned into a two-day curveball, and they handled it all with professionalism and patience. Our original plan was foiled when - separately through another company - we realized we'd have to upgrade from two Pods to a full trailer for our cross-country move. That created a last-minute change in timing and logistics, but the RockNRoll team was there to help me. We anticipated hitting another snag at the Pod facility (it becomes a safety issue loading past 5:00 PM) and Billy stepped in immediately. He was empathetic, calm, and quick to troubleshoot a solution, offering to hold our stuff on their lot until we could finish - despite a fully booked weekend. That flexibility and responsiveness made a stressful situation feel manageable. Colin, Anthony, and Moises were absolutely incredible. They packed everything into the trailer with such care and precision, clearly thinking ahead to the risks of a long-haul journey. I honestly wish I could take them with me to the other end of the move. Given everything, the value for the move was clear; REAL RockNRoll provides top-notch service, kind people, and true professionals. I can't recommend them enough.

Guys at work, meticulously packing every item carefully and maximizing space!

We ABSOLUTELY would move with Real RocknRoll Movers again and will recommend them without hesitation! The price was fair, the guys (Ben, Drake, & Andrew) went far above and beyond. They fit us in on very short notice. Excellent communication from pre-booking through delivery. We hired Real RocknRoll to move our items from our place into a POD at the PODS center. From there it was transported across the country. Ben oversaw the whole process and carefully made sure every thing was properly wrapped at pick-up and packed perfectly into the POD. NOTHING was damaged...every inch of the POD was maximized. All three guys completely busted their butts. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. They asked questions about items to make sure things were done right. I can't give higher praise for these guys. We had a LOT of stuff...and a lot of heavy stuff. I don't know how they kept such great attitudes with all the stuff they had to move. I've had bad moves with other companies in the past (missing stuff, broken stuff, showing up late). THIS was the closest I've seen to the perfect move. I can't come up with a single issue with Real RockNRoll. I would 100% prioritize booking with them over scheduling the rest of the move.

I used these guys for pack and move service. I was mostly happy with my move just a few items of feedback: On the email confirmation it stated that packing services sometimes are completed the day before a move. I wish that had been the case as it was a mad dash at the end of the day to try to make it to the storage unit before it closed. We actually got locked out of the unit/gate but were able to have someone hold the door open so we could get everything inside. A bit stressful. Also, due to the rushed end, I was unable to do a final walk-through of my house and when I went back there were a bunch of items left behind. I had to fill my SUV to the top with stuff that wasn't packed up. In addition, 2 large items outside were left behind. I know the truck was very full and we were rushed for time, but I ended up having to rent a truck to move the items the next day on my own. In the end I owed overtime pay which left me with a crazy bill. I expected some of it, though their email did state that there would be a "not to exceed" quote, which I never received. I forgot to ask about it at the beginning of the day and by the end I was so tired I just wanted to be done with everything and paid. Otherwise, the guys were awesome and organized and helpful. I was grateful for all their help and, except for the end of the day, felt very stress-free during a very sudden and sad move. I would use them again but would insist on a packing day separate from moving day in the future

The team that came to help me were on time and efficient. They did a great job with what I needed moved and I would be happy to hire this company again. And of course with my husband being a musician too I like helping other musicians out when possible.

Thank you again!! I do not recommend this business! I moved from California to Oregon, so I chose to utilize their full packing service in addition to the 1,000 mile journey to my new home. The team of five arrived promptly and took about six hours to pack everything inside and load it into their truck. My husband thought to put a tracker in one of his items and this is where the confusion and lack of communication began. We never got a straight answer on this given the singular phone call in two weeks, but from what we saw on the tracker our stuff made 5-10 stops across Los Angeles and San Francisco during the week that we had assumed they would be driving. Our best guess is that they were unloading and reloading everything into a bigger truck to accommodate more items (and more $$). They packed us on July 26th and I gave my first available delivery date as August 2nd. After the initial contact on the move out day, I didn't hear a single word from them until August 4th after trying desperately to get ahold of anyone at the company. Does anyone actually work here? I only ever received emails from "Jim," but he would stop responding as soon as I asked for a phone call. I feel you would have happier customers if you OVER communicated, given that you have most of their worldly possessions. On top of the complete lack of customer service, the team packed our household items terribly. Nothing is labeled, items from rooms in a bunch of different boxes, several items broken or lost or wrapped up in a shoddy fashion - which is making unpacking an absolute nightmare. The company also just hires random local people to unpack the truck (two men and one older woman- peculiar choice), so while they were helpful they had no idea what each item was. Since we were all totally clueless, it took double the time to unwrap/unbox every single thing. We were moved in on August 8th; the sixth day. I'm now realizing they do this on purpose with their "7 day guarantee," so take that into account if booking. I would urge you to look elsewhere, as Pure Movers was not worth the enormous $15k price tag for me.

Do Not Reccomend, be warned…read more I hired this company because of its strong reviews and was willing to pay more for a professional, efficient move. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I paid about $1,650 before tip, roughly $1,800 total, and ended up with damaged furniture, a damaged wall, a broken TV stand, and an excessively long move. Two of the three movers appeared to speak almost no English, and the third spoke limited English and had to translate for the others. The issue was that the crew could not reliably understand or follow instructions. Several times I made specific requests and was told "OK, OK," only for the crew to continue doing exactly what I had asked them not to do. At one point I had to repeat myself about five times and finally stop them and insist they change the loading order. It should not require an argument to get movers to follow a clear instruction. I own expensive Stickley furniture and other high-end pieces and explicitly told the crew that several items needed exceptional care. I repeatedly asked for more padding and blankets because certain pieces were not adequately protected. On at least two occasions I specifically asked for another blanket, and the mover simply repositioned the existing blankets and kept wrapping. When the furniture was unwrapped, I found scuffs on leather, scratches and chips in wood, marks on my TVs, a broken leg on my nearly new TV stand, and damage to several other pieces. The problem seemed less like laziness and more like lack of experience, organization, and leadership. The time reinforces that concern. My previous move involved significantly more belongings, more preparation by the movers, and a destination about 30 minutes farther away. It also used three movers and was completed in about 5.5 hours, including double drive time. Based on that, I expected this smaller move to take about four hours, five at the absolute most. Instead, it took about eight. Everything except furniture was already packed, I had removed many fragile and awkward items myself, and I had reserved a loading area and dedicated elevator. Even so, individual trips between the apartment and truck were taking roughly 20 minutes despite the distance being only about 32 steps each way. I expected roughly $800-$1,000 plus tip. Instead, I paid about $1,650 plus tip. In my estimation, I paid at least $650-$800 more because of the crew's inefficiency and lack of experience. The most unacceptable incident involved damage to my old apartment. Near the end of the load-out, I found a substantial fresh gouge/chip next to an electrical outlet. I immediately brought it to the movers' attention, and they denied causing it. I had plugged my vacuum into that exact outlet and vacuumed the area no more than ten minutes earlier. The damage was not there then, and it was there after the movers worked there. Damage can happen during a move. What bothered me was being told something that repeatedly that, was plainly not credible. I contacted the company immediately and sent photos. I had to follow up repeatedly before being told the claims department would contact me. The following business day came and went without contact, leaving me to address the damage with my landlord. There was also an issue with the drive between locations. Before leaving, the lead mover and I compared Google Maps and both showed about 29 minutes. The truck then took a different route and arrived about 11 minutes later. Because the company charges double drive time, that effectively became about 22 billable minutes @ 200 per hour. The workers were personable and they did work. My criticism is that the company sent a crew that appeared inadequately trained, inadequately supervised, inefficient, unable to communicate effectively, and unable or unwilling to follow clear instructions regarding expensive property. I chose this company because its reviews made me believe paying a premium would buy professionalism, efficiency, and care. That is not what I received. I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them
