Rebe provided me with the best experience I've ever had at a hair salon ever! Rebe went above and beyond for me to feel at home with her. She came in on a day off just after having surgery to make sure to make me look amazing for a really important trip to see family I hadn't seen in 12 years. I told her I had a bad experience doing a keratin treatment before hand and instead of brushing it off, assured me that she would make me look like a million bucks after she treated my hair. She was so attentive and asked me what I wanted my hair to look like and shared knowledge on how to maintain it properly. Rebe made me look as good as my photographer, who is super skilled and makes me look like a starlet! Poor service, I had to wait 20 minutes for my cut. Other clients were asked if they wanted something to drink. Even though I did'nt complain that I had to wait, I was offered nothing. when she (owner of salon) finally started working on my hair, she rushed through it, knowing she had another client waiting. I was there to have my layers trimmed, she did a horrible job. I couldn't tell how bad it was because she styled my hair. when I got home and combed through it, I noticed that she didn't even trim some of the layers. I will NEVER again go to this Salon. I tried calling about 7 times over the span of three days and nobody picked up the phone, they don't even have a voicemail box to leave a message. I got a full refund for my groupon but this was a 0/10 experience. I bought a groupon for this salon and I tried scheduling an appt three times, and after never getting a call back after leaving my name and number on voicemail and to another woman, I decided to call again and finally someone picked up and got me a time and date. My groupon was for a haircut, style, deep conditioning treatment, color, and complimentary dessert. I was scheduled with Jane. 1. I asked for a medium ash brown and got a golden cinnamon. 2. I was told I was going to have to pay $50 extra for a "color correction" 3. I never got a deep conditioning treatment or a complementary dessert (not that I really care about a dessert but don't advertise something and you're not going to follow through with) 4. I walked out with crusty chunks of grouped hair from hairspray I assume, I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair without them getting caught/stuck 5. She told me she was going to "mix my color" and came back and bleached my entire head instead.. I didn't want that or I would've said no.. 6. I didn't get what I asked for at all, the haircut barely fit what i showed.. Bottom line, it was a waste of money, my hair looks and feels completely damaged and I'm super disappointed because after reading reviews I thought this was going to be my next go to salon. My New Years Resolution is to put me first! Pedicures, hair cuts & style, a facial (here & then) will be the norm not the exception. I bought a Groupon for $59.00. ($165 Value --not really sure about that) That price includes a cut, root touch up, highlights, and a glass of wine and a dessert. I made an appointment with Barbara. I arrived at 4:00 PM. Cute place. I met Barbara. I brought in a picture of the haircut that I felt would be flattering. (I have a round face). As she was mixing the hair colors, she asked if I wanted anything. I said yes to the wine. I was fine that it was $2 Buck Chuck. ($2 Buck Chuck is the commonly known name for the $1.99/bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Traders Joe's.) The glass had water spots. It was filled halfway. A dessert wasn't offered to me even though it was stated here in the Groupon. I am on Weight Watchers ..... even though I skipped lunch that day ... I was fine with it. The dessert, as offered in this Groupon, was a Red Velvet cupcake. No worries. Magazine selection = Decent. Salon = Cute Location = Great. Near Cemetery Park on Main St. When you sit in the shampoo chair you can look past Cabrillo Middle School and see the sunset. Breathtaking. Barbara = Very Personable. She touched up my roots (as promised in the Groupon). She offered me a 2nd glass of wine. I said YES. We talked about the movies we've seen and the movies we want to see. We talked about our kids and our families. I feel very VERY comfortable with Barbara. Although we just met, It seems like I was talking to an old friend. We even have an amazing mutual friend in common named Mary L. (also a hairdresser). My haircut was perfect. I have received "mucho" compliments. My hair color makes me SO HAPPY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH BARBARA!!! My hair was styled "straight and flat". I have crazy frizz on 1 side of my hair. To see & feel my hair so soft and so perfectly straight (Frizz-Free), I was grateful. Barbara gave me styling tips. She said with my fine hair, she used Moroccan oil (expensive) to protect it with her ceramic CROC flat iron. The Croc flat iron has different heat settings which can really help fine hair. (Heck...I didn't even know that I had fine hair. I just knew it was damaged). In conclusion, a great mechanic and a great hairdresser are really hard to find. Once you find someone you can trust: you hold on to them, recommend them, and help build their clientele. I wanted a good cut so I booked with the owner. I told her exactly what I wanted, explained the type of hair I have, showed her pictures of various styles, and I got the worst haircut of my life. It gets better: when I told her I didn't like it she threw a fit. I've been getting my hair cut professionally for 40 years, and I've never experienced anything like this. Take a tranquilizer dart with you if you go. When I got home I cut the chunks that were sticking out myself, with sewing scissors, behind my back, with my eyes closed. It looks g better now. I have to first state....I went into this with my fingers crossed but my hopes weren't up. I bought a Groupon for a haircut and color with partial highlights for less than $60 and I thought...uh-oh this could be bad but I needed a new stylist....my stylist of years and years moved out of state and I had spent over a year miserable "auditioning" through other groupons without success at other salons. I made an appointment over the phone, sight unseen, with Christina. I had never been to this Salon nor met her. I brought in some reference photos and an apprehensive attitude and left happier than I think I have EVER been with my hair. Not only did she do an amazing job on my cut and color but she was so knowledgeable about my curly hair. I am in my mid 30s and I have had curly hair for approximately FOREVER and have always had it flat ironed or blown out...Christina taught me out to care for my curls, keep them defined, and recommend products specifically FOR curly hair that actually work and didn't weigh down my locks. ADDITIONALLY she recommend a book about how to care for my curls....so wait...she did a great job, she informed me, she showed me, and then gave me academic reference? I have been a client of Becky's for several years. She is always a joy to visit with, and on more than one occasion, has been very generous when I purchased products to take home. When I want to be my blondest, she nails it EVERY time! I've always left the salon thrilled about my hair and having enjoyed my time in the salon. At my most recent appointment, I wanted to do something different with my color. What I left with did not resemble the photo I showed. And that would have been ok if I had liked what I ended up with. I purchased a Groupon in December and made an appointment with Brittany, one of the stylists/colorists that accepts the advertised Groupon for cut and color at $60. What a deal, right!? (Just FYI, not every stylist Rebe Belle accepts Groupons.) Upon sitting in the chair, Brittany looked through my medium-length fine hair, referenced my current highlights, and asked me what I wanted to have done. As I explained what I wanted, Brittany was attentive, asked questions, and I really appreciated that she did not try to sell me extra services. The haircut and highlights turned out great, and I did buy a bottle of SUDZZ fx Moxie conditioner to keep my freshly highlighted hair in good condition. Overall, I would recommend Rebe Belle Salon and especially Brittany's services. She was pleasant to chat with and very personable. I am new to the area and needed a new place to get a hair cut and color. My hair is short with a shaved side, and not everyone can get this cut right. I set an appointment with Sandra, and man, did she deliver! My appointment started on time, she explained the process and listened to what I wanted. She made recommendations to what I suggested, and made the experience really awesome, I even got a complimentary glass of wine (nice touch). Sandra was easy to connect with and not pushy at all. She paused to asked how I was feeling as she moved through each step. I am super happy with my hair, and the prices was awesome. A lot of times I am paying $175 or more, but she took into account my shorter hair when charging me. PS: She works on Monday and Tuesday, but has a lot of flexibility on start and end times. Cute little salon, friendly service. I had a Groupon and made an appointment. The receptionist was really nice and they have this awesome system that texts/emails you reminders for your appointment! She chatted me up and I liked my hair cut. She took her time and I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait even though I showed up early for my appointment, and I didn't feel rushed. There were 2 things that kind of put me off. One, my highlights looked bright orange! Since the salon is dimly lit, mostly by natural light through the windows, I didn't notice while I was there, but as soon as I stepped into the sun and looked in the mirror, holy crap, radiant orange! I remember her saying something about maybe not needing the toner because they looked good, they definitely needed the toner. The second thing was when I was getting ready to go. A few other groupons mentioned a surcharge for long/too much hair and I was asking if I had to pay anything extra. She said no it's fine but you can tip me! Seriously? I was holding a $20 in my hand, ready to tip her, why did she assume I wasn't going to tip her? I thought that was completely RUDE! If I go back, and that's a big IF, I will definitely ask for someone else. read more

I went to this salon this past Saturday because of a "livingsocial" coupon I purchased for their services and I am so glad that I did. Tianna was the one who cut and colored my hair and although it took a little longer than I expected, it was mostly because of her thoroughness and attentiveness to doing a great job! She is a super sweet girl and she did a great job so I will definitely go back to see her again! And the salon is very cute and clean. I read that the owner was voted "best stylist" in the Ventura County Star polls so that is part of what convinced me to try them along with the great coupon. I just wash my hair after 4 days - i did a "keratin treatment". This is NOT a keratin treatment. I did treatments like that for 2 years. My hair is the same like before. I paid 200$ and it was a waste of my money. I work so hard for this money and they just lie to me. The stylist use the material with such a cheap way, she don't understand that the hair needs to drink the keratin. And I did 16 treatments, in 2 years, in usa they have such a lovely smoothing keratin companies that you don't have to wait for 4 days. I'm so disappointed!!!!! Paid for nothing! read more

Just got my hair cut and colored by Miss Gina here. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to not only get the look I've been trying to achieve since before I started letting my hair grow out (a little over 7 years), but also make my hair actually look nice down (I usually wear it up because it just doesn't look right). Any time I've gotten my hair cut, no matter where or by whom, I tell them the same thing. They get the job done, but it's never... exactly what I'm going for? So I figured my hair just wasn't meant for that cut. But today, I told Gina what I've told anyone else in the past, and she somehow made my hair look like it's never properly been cut! Gina is Awesome!! I've been in the market for a new hairdresser for over a couple of years now (ever since my former hairdresser had to close her studio), and had just been sort of bouncing around from salon to salon trying to find someone I really liked... And then, I found Gina! She gave me the best color I've had in ages!! (...and I liked the cut too.) I'd had some pretty obvious highlights for a little too long, and over the past year+, I visited 3 different hairdressers (one of them a couple of times), and each time I'd request the exact same thing... I wanted to stay "blonde", yet tone it down a little, go back toward my natural color, with the goal that I wouldn't have to dye it so often. Now, I get it, in a way my request was essentially working themselves out of a repeat, highlights customer (which pays way more $$$ than the simple trim I'd be getting without a color job). I get it, I do... yet still. I was paying for a service, and if I wanted to pay to go back toward my natural color, I should've been able to do it. Every time I requested the same thing, and every time the results were totally different, and not once did I get what I'd asked for. Not even close. Not until Gina. I booked an appointment for partial highlights, and then told her what I was going for once I was in the chair. I figured she'd just throw in a darker shade of blonde (possibly even a few low-lights), and then do a toner to even it all out (which is essentially what every other hairdresser had done). Yet without even discussing it, Gina chucked highlights altogether, and gave me an all-over color. To be honest, I had a brief moment of internal panic. What if it was too dark or too light?! What if she (like all the others) didn't get what I was really asking for, and I wound up with a totally unnatural color that would have an even more noticeable grow-out?! Fortunately - to my relief - the color was EXACTLY what I'd asked her for!! (I just hadn't realized all-over color was what I needed to get there, and thankfully Gina did!) Plus she was easy to talk to, and the studio is comfortable, cute & conveniently located (always nice bonuses). I was so excited to find a hairdresser I really liked!! And then I moved to Chicago... Ugh! Gina, if you're reading this, it's 5 months later, and I still like my hair color. I haven't had it colored since, and it still looks good! You achieved precisely the low-maintenance look I was going for. Thank you!!! If I'm ever back in Ventura for a haircut, I will definitely get in touch with you! After years of Cheap hair cuts and coloring my own hair, I had ruined my hair. I called this salon and made an appt. with Sandra. Unfortunately she only works Monday and Tuesdays, my busiest days to try to get away from work. However Sandra made it all worth my time. The salon was clean and inviting Sandra was sweet and polite and extremely knowledgeable, she cut my hair with such precision, blended it perfectly and the color was rich and shiny. I was so very pleased. While I was there I was offered water and coffee, I was comfortable and I was very pleased with the atmosphere.
