My 48" stove needed to have a wire connected in the back so that my smaller oven would work again. I already knew this because I had done my own research ahead of time. They charged me $410 to pull out my stove, connect the wire & push back my stove. It took 2 people because my stove is heavy. The charge was for 2 people at $180 per hour. The service took less than an hour. I don't even know what the remaining $50 was for because there were no parts. When I was told the amount I owed I challenged him (the owner who was there with another employee) & he could have cared less that he was charging me double. I don't recommend them at all. read more

After 4 months of trying to get my dishwasher repaired I gave up. They lost the parts twice and then miraculously found them months later. No one calls you back ever. They work out of their home and I'm sure they are nice people but wow they lack customer service. Literally dozens of texts emails and calls all unanswered. read more

I have never worked with an appliance service company with this level of amazing customer service. They are coming out today ( I only called yesterday) for the 3rd time to fix my dryer. My I thoroughly disappointed in the brand of dryer I have. Despite all of the incredible reviews it seems that the quality has dropped and I've had nothing but problems with it. Red and White have fixed it every time - even when other companies wouldn't. The customer service and follow up I've received from the office are second to none. The repairmen have both been so polite, knowledgeable, respectful and they leave the work area as clean, or cleaner, than it was before they arrived. Always a great reason to vacuum behind the washer and dryer, right!! I know that the service today will be just as professional. They even give me hints and tips on how to make my appliances last even longer!! I can't state enough how impressed I am with this company. We bought a complete Bosch Kitchen Suite 5 years ago and have had the Microwave/Convection from the wall combo ovens repaired multiple times by Red&White. They have always been very friendly and professional. I am in the east valley which they only come out this way every 2 weeks but for this most recent repair I was able to get on the schedule in just a few days. I am not thrilled with Bosch as I though I invested in a higher quality manufacturer and I had an expectation that the appliances would last but I don't fault Red and White as they have always made an effort to take care of any issues. First, the girl that answers the phone (Ana?) was great. But, that's the only good thing I can say about my experience with this company. First, it's a $90 service charge to come look at your appliance. The guy that came out spent about 10 minutes being extremely dramatic about the tiny dent on my Viking range (it was damaged during shipping and is being repaired by the vendor). He sighed repeatedly and gesticulated -- it wreaked of "used car" tactics to undervalue your trade-in. Anyway, the point was to get enough information to put together a quote. The quote didn't come for over a week, and several phone calls on my part. When it finally came it was pretty sparse: http://screencast.com/t/2qobAyP4 Did you notice the part where it said the $90 diagnosis fee would *not* be deducted from the repair cost? In any case, I told them to schedule the repair. I forwarded the quote to the vendor reimbursing me for the repair, and they asked for part numbers for validation. I asked Red & White for the part numbers and they told me that it's "against their policy to give out part numbers". I explained to them my specific situation. They thought about it for a day and came back to me with the same answer -- "no part numbers -- that's our policy". Okay, okay. We've all been victims of retarded company "policies". But, keep this in mind -- this is a tiny company. Could be 2 people. Could be 10. But, it's not 500. "Policies" are established by a dude you can talk to, not some vague committee in the sky. Since the reason for the policy wasn't explained to me, I can only imagine that the it's because they don't want me to look up the real cost of their parts because of course they are charging me 3x what I can buy them for myself. The truth is, I just want it fixed; I don't really care what their profit model is. Anyway, my conclusion is that these guys are institutionally shady. I had an older unline (2001) in our RV that I kept when we sold it. Used it for years in our house. I quot making ice and call an 800 number to get it fixed. Service charge was $165.00. Tech told me he needed to take it back to the shop. Four weeks later, they told me it was too old and could be fixed and I told them to bring it back as the thing still freeze ice. They did, but kept the ice maker! Called we no results. Bought a new Unline Ice Maker and begin having problems with it, always on and didn't trust anyone to work on it so I tried and made it worse. Finally reached out again for someone to fix it without ripping me off and found Red&White! They did need to take it in, but it now works better than when I bought it! Fixed things I didn't think could be fixed (running all the time, etc) Extremely happy and don't write reviews. Not sure what else they do, but will call them first if I have an issue with any of my appliances. Trust is hard to find - trust them! read more

I have had another wonderful experience with Red and White. They serviced our U Line refrigerator five years ago and did a fabulous job. My current job was a little more complex. The refrigeration unit in our large wine storage cabinet stopped keeping the unit cool. I called wine cooler companies and was quoted between $900 and $1200 to "replace" the unit. Red and White came out, removed the cooling unit, repaired it and returned it in a timely manner. When they made an appointment, they were here within the time frame. They had given me a quote and my bill ultimately was 75% of that. I highly recomment Red and White. They service all the high end units such as Sub Zero, U line and others. Very honest company and extremely fast responses by email and phone. I had an issue with my ice maker recently that I emailed Bill at Red and White Appliance about. I sent pics and described my problem, and asked when I could setup service which I was dreading as a single female on a limited budget. However, to my very happy surprise, Bill replied quickly with advice about what my problem was, and how I could likely easily fix it myself with just a few parts. He walked me through the steps and answered all my questions, and sure enough, I was able to fix my problem and got my ice maker back to 100% functioning within a few days. I was so appreciative of Bill being so honest and helpful when he could have easily just ripped me off like so many other companies would have done, by insisting on coming out for a service visit and charging outrageous pricing just to come out. I'm sure eventually I will need on site service from his professional techs for an appliance, and when that day comes I will not hesitate to call Red and White knowing I can trust them to serve me well and honestly! read more

Timely and polite warranty service on a Viking refrigerator. Service person, Victor, came out and quickly resolved problem the first time. Since it was warranty I initially called Viking direct. The time commitment for repair from Viking of 1 week was not acceptable. Fortunately Red and White came out the next day and resolved. read more

The owner is a jerk and acts like he does not care about you as if you say anything or question anything, he acts like you are stupid and basically does not care if he gets your business or not. The office staff overpromises and underdelivers. I have had a non working appliance for two a dn a half weeks WAITING to get on their precious schedule. Bad first ompression starting with phone call, female less than friendly from the start, and false info on thier website.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience today. I was told one price on the phone and when the tech arrived another price was given. I was told $120 for service call with 30 minutes service. When he arrived I was told it was $120 just for him to drive to the house that it would an addition $75 to install the part. Viking told us the price of the part was $105 which we mentioned when we called for the appointment. When the tech arrived the part was $147. So in summing it up we expected a $225 repair and it would have been $350 to repair a microwave which we would not have remotely considered. The worst part is the girl admitted that we had been misquoted and the owner,when asked, still would not honor the price. So we paid the $120 fee for the tech to drive out. Buyer beware and that is what yelp is about! I have called Viking to tell them about our concern so hopefully there will be another repair option soon. read more
