Great welcoming, food was little bit too salty especially the asparagus. The waitress forgot our Caesar salad. Other than that mostly it was just okay. Not the best restaurant but not the worst . Average

Grilled Shrimp & Garlic Shrimp Scampi

Very large parking lot. We were greeted and seated immediately when walking inside. The restaurant was very clean. My daughter and I shared a platter with lobster, crab and shrimp. The menu clearly states the shrimp are imported. They were small but cooked and seasoned okay. The lobster was good. Crab was overcooked and not edible. My husband has main lobster tail and garlic lobster tail. He said it was all cooked, seasoned and tasted well. We both had a side salad that was very nice but only had a very small amount of dressing. Cheddar biscuits were delicious as always. Our server was outstanding and did a great job. Overall typical restaurant chain food. Nothing fantastic but simply okay.

Visited Red Lobster on Friday to use a gift card someone gave me. On arrival no one was at the host stand, but after a few minutes someone came and seated us. Restaurant was pretty empty, especially to say it was a Friday evening. Our server was nice. We were pretty hungry and a little disappointed that it took about 10 minutes for the biscuits to come out. However, they were nice and fresh and we enjoyed it. I ordered the stuffed flounder and it was okay. It came with a sauce on top that was too cheesy to me. It tasted like it had cheddar cheese in it, but I believe a sauce with Parmesan cheese would have paired better. While it is fish, it tasted a little too fishy to me. My mother had the southwest bowl and she enjoyed it. The shrimp in her bowl were really good.

She came across as short, unfriendly, and overall not very pleasant. I first ordered a Banana Foster's Martini, but she came back and said they didn't have the ingredients. No problem--I asked for an Espresso Martini instead. A few minutes later, after bringing everyone else's drinks, she returned and simply said they couldn't make that either and asked if I wanted something else. At that point, I just declined. When it was time to order, our table had nine people. She took my husband's order, then went around the table taking everyone else's order. By the time she got back to me, she said, "Okay, is that it?" I had to remind her that she hadn't taken my order yet. I ordered the crab and corn bisque, a salad, and the stuffed catfish with creamed spinach. The salad came out quickly and was very good. Then everyone else at the table received their meals while I only received my bisque. After waiting, I was told my stuffed catfish "didn't come out right" and had to be remade. At that point, I honestly wondered if it was a joke. It wasn't. By the time my entrée arrived, everyone else was nearly finished eating. To the restaurant's credit, they did remove the stuffed catfish from my bill, and I appreciated that. However, the entire experience left me feeling overlooked from start to finish. My biggest suggestion would be for our waitress to work on her customer service. A smile goes a long way. Saying things like "Give me that plate," slamming cups onto the table, and appearing annoyed throughout the meal doesn't create a welcoming dining experience. Hospitality is just as important as the food, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

I had no idea. Corks was owned by the same people. One of my friends who works at Coy-Yon's in West Baton Rouge told me that I could still get that potato pretty easily on Government Street. I guess this is basically the same thing as our restaurant in Port Alan instead of barbecue, they specialize in fish and shrimp. I did get shrimp as my protein for the potato and it was delicious Definitely go, give it a shot. The server was very nice and friendly. Parking very simple. Interiors mostly white. They've got some art on the wall, looks like it's done locally. Most mostly of their other restaurant. If I had to complain and be picky, I would say take that Christmas tree down. I always find the tacky when restaurants or businesses leave their Christmas tree up all year. It's never the flex they think it is. But who cares. The food is good.
