It looks like the ratings and experiences are all over the place here. I can only speak to my recent experience which was - surprisingly - a 5 star meal. Having followed the news of Red Lobster's financial struggles, shutting down over 100 locations, and pending bankruptcy, I suggested to my 2 family members that we dine there; possibly for the last time. We arrived on a Monday night which is typically a slow day of the week for most places. It was not even half full. The server was new but had a great attitude and checked on us often. We ordered 2 large salads (with shrimp) and the stuffed flounder and were blown away! Besides the biscuits, which were fresh and hot, the entrees were excellent! Based on this visit, we'd definitely go back. Let's hope they can stay afloat and more importantly, keep up the stellar service and food! read more

I believe in giving places another opportunity for improvement and I am SO Glad I did. Walking in I didn't notice that horrible stench of seafood. We were seated in less than five minutes and immediately approached by our waiter Colton who took our drink order and talked us into trying the crabby cheese fries as an appetizer. I was on the fence of trying the crabby cheese fries, but surprisingly they were deliciously addictive. The food was Outstanding and the service was absolutely Spot On! Our service was so good that we left Colton an extremely generous tip that he absolutely deserved. They stated they would be open until 9 PM on Christmas Eve. They took a reservation from us the day before for 7:30. When we arrived at 7:30, they told us they closed at 7. Red Lobster has always been a Christmas Eve tradition for our family, so we were bitterly disappointed and had to scramble to find another dinner location at the last minute. It's no wonder they are facing bankruptcy and losing business. read more

We took my mother in love here for her birthday and we enjoyed it. The service was great and the food decent...love the cheddar biscuits and the lobster mashed potatoes...I thought shrimp scampi had noodles with it...apparently not...but it was still delicious... my mom and I enjoyed the coconut shrimp immensely...the Brussels sprouts were a little to well done but still tasty... We ate at this Red Lobster a couple of nights ago. Mask requirements posted on the door. We walked in and were asked to put on a mask then escorted to a table 20 seconds away. Said we could take them off now. Now that does not make sense to me! Server was professional and courteous. Meal was good. Restaurant was clean. I have to post an overall positive review to balance out these awful ones. I know customer service and restaurants aren't necessarily up to par with what we may have experienced in the past and the prices are much higher, But this visit was wonderful! We were pleasantly greeted and sat in the table style of our choosing, to be waited on by Kannon. He was charming, friendly and up beat but not in an annoying way. He was attentive and always made sure are drinks were full. Our food arrived and it was plated beautifully, hot and tasted wonderful! The rest of the staff was friendly and attentive. In Branson for 4 nights and love seafood. I haven't eaten at a Red Lobster in years as I always choose a non chain restaurant when I go out. It was my first night in town and Red Lobster was very close by so I decided to stop. I was so impressed by the taste, the quality, and the price of the food. I had so much food that I was able to have a complete meal from the leftovers the following night. Lobsters were great and I was really happy to see actual pieces of lobster in the pasta. There was a ton of shrimp in it too..... I actually asked my server if all Red Lobsters have the same menu and offer the same entrees because I plan on going back home and visiting my local restaurant. We had a 3pm reservation for a party of 6 in Branson, Mo. We never received drinks, biscuits, or salads until almost 4, we asked for utensils at least 3 times. We finally got our food about 4:15. When paying for meal my daughter had a MC digital gift card. The manager, Sarah refused it. She said it was fraudulate, which it was not. I paid for my meal, while leaving I heard Sarah on the phone and said my name. I stopped and waited while she proceeded to talk to someone and mentioned my name again. Finally I said, "I am sorry but what are you saying about me?" She said your party had a fraudulate payment. I explained that my daughter used digital gift cards all the time, and it was ligitament. (Called and card had a balance of $175) Sarah needs customer service as she is very rude in front of other customers. We go to Red Lobster often, and this was a horrible experience. Yes, it was Thanksgiving, but when we got there, it was not busy. Plus, we had reservations. The manager, Sarah, was totally not an experienced manager. Even admitting their service was pathetic. We were satisfied and happy when we left thanks to the GM, Sarah. Dined in on 7/ 23/2023 party of 5. We are in town visiting and my son really wanted Red Lobster for dinner ( which we have back home in CA) I put us on the wait list while driving over to the establishment. ( 15 minute wait time) When we arrived they said it was going to be about a hour wait time. They were EXTREMELY short staffed that night as they had Many employees not show up for their shifts. ( Front and Back of the house) We were sat prior to that hour and they took our drink order right away. Our food took a little bit to come out ( which was understandable because they only had one pregnant gal making the food) but it was good. Our waitress was good and tried to make sure we were happy and had all we needed. The General Manager, Sarah came to the table to explain and apologize for any issues we may of had and explained the situation. Do to the hiccups in getting our food and a presentation issue We were given a discount and had our appetizers Comp'd - all with out us asking. we have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed until last night. Half the restaurant was closed down so everyone was crammed into one section, it all looked dirty and run down. my husband ordered the endless shrimp, he had to flag the server down to get a second order which she clearly forgot that he ordered it when she came up to ask us if we were having dessert. instead of just going to get it we had to listen to her life story, came to have an anniversary dinner not to listen to her life history. she was taking care of whole section, i understand everyone is short on help but everyone working there seemed very disorganized. After driving over four hours round-trip this evening we were very disappointed with our meal. When we Ordered calamari, we received 60% breading, 30% red and green peppers, and 10% calamari. When we ordered asparagus, which was an additional cost, we received these fishing line sized green plants that were very stringy. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the waitress was great. First time I ever had lobster tails that had Lobster meat that wasn't even the size of large shrimp, at a cost well over $30 per person. Extremely Disappointing, Not Baby friendly seating, went there for Fathers Day early when they first opened, requested a booth, there were only three families in the entire restaurant. They were going to seat us in bar at the very back by the drink station where waiters put in orders and pick up the drinks, high traffic area. So disappointed today, especially with the service and the meal prices. First. Our favorite server, Kelly, wasn't working today. He is the best! We spent 3 months in Arizona recently and every Red Lobster we went to was happy to make the Sailors Platter for my husband even tho it's no longer on the menu. And the price at lunch was around $14 each time. When we asked about this today at the Branson location, we were told they could make it, but it would cost $22.99 as the Pick 3. We said no as that price is excessive for lunch. We ordered something else. We waited forever for our bread and salads. We weren't finished with our salads when the meals arrived. I watched our server serve food and lifted the plates right up in front of her mask. Ugh. Also, the carpeting in our section smelled like dirty socks. Not sure if it hadn't been cleaned or what.
