When you are at a chain restaurant, it's all about the service because the food is what it is. The food was good and it was busy. The waitress was always running to and from the table in a frantic hurry and I felt we were just part of a Cattlecall. There was nothing personal about the service despite the fact that it was my daughter's birthday and we had let them know. Furthermore, it's not great when you have to flag the waitress down for silverware and refills that come with attentive service. A new trend is emerging, poor ordering. We arrived and asked for the fresh fish menu, to our surprise they did not have one as they were out of most of their fish. The Blame for this lays solely on a poor manager not ordering correctly. We should have just gotten up and left, be we stayed due to time issues. I had the wood fire grilled salmon. My daughter got the popcorn shrimp we noticed that the shrimp was NOT deveined. We took breading off of all the shrimp every single one had poop. I came here for a company luncheon a few months ago and the staff did their best and was very attentive, friendly, and helpful to our party of 20+. It was a little difficult to make the reservation with them at first and a couple of our meals were brought out incomplete but I didn't expect perfection as we each ordered our own appetizers, entrees and desserts (that's a lot of food to deliver). This location is great! On our most recent visit, Melvin C. was our server. He was absolutely wonderful! He was attentive and made sure our orders were as we had requested...we had a couple special requests, but he made sure everything was perfect. It was lobster fest. Need I say more? The commercials and ads on the radio finally drew us in.... I can think of about 4 other restaurants in the valley I rather eat seafood at but RL remains consistent. The waitress did not underwhelm at all and stayed in constant rotation of our table and kept up with cheddar bay biscuits. For appetizers We ordered the broccoli which tasted like a vegan sushi- soy sauce, crumbles and chili flakes, I ate every bite. A dozen oysters half shell because we love a seafood splurge and it would be like eating peanut butter with no jelly. Lobster and oysters are a team. The oysters were delicious also but I couldn't stop eating the lobster mashed potatoes. For main course we split the lobster petite rolls which were amazing!! We spent here times the amount at the main lobster lady a while back and regretted it. The petite rolls were simple, buttery and packed with flavor! I have never drank a cocktail at RL and it's party because there are no prices on the menu, I cannot stand when restaurants don't include prices on the drink menu, so I stuck with the cranberry ice tea. We had diiner on Monday, November 21, 2022. We had a large party for dinner. I have to say our waiter was amazing. We were sat near the rest rooms, that was good since me had kids with us. He was awesome, our drinks never went below half. He saw that we had little ones and brought out some biscuits ASAP, while we looked over the menu. Our order came out quickly and was correct. We were all taken care very well. The host was very nice and pleasant. We were sat with in a couple of minutes. Everyone was very pleased with the whole process. read more

Remember when going to Red Lobster was a HUGE NIGHT? It ranked up there with Black Angus and Olive Garden. Big dinner nights. I haven't been to a RL in years, but had to go a meeting here, pre selected dinner. Salad and cheddar biscuits seemed to have lost their flair to me, the fish taco's I ordered were simply....."fishy" I maybe finished 1/2 my meal, quickly finished my meal and made a quick exit. It's unfortunate the way the level of customer service has dropped lower than the ground these days. Service people are just plain rude & unapologetic today. With managers who'd rather excuse them than hold employees accountable for their mistakes, ultimately having the customer suffer. I ordered ahead about an hour before the restaurant closed. Problem #1 the attitude of KJ taking my order. Tone was unpleasant and unfriendly. She didn't confirm my order and rushed me off the phone. Of course when I arrive my order is incorrect. Imagine my surprise when being told I ordered the filet mignon when those words never left my mouth. Which leads me to problem #2 with the service here tonight. Had KJ been a little less focused on rushing me off the phone & running up a higher tab for her sales she might've remembered the steak & lobster special tonight instead of having me get here to wait until 10 minutes before they're closed for them to make me the right steak. Wouldn't it seem more logical to adjust the price on the meal and send me on my way with the filet for the inconvenience, since it wasn't my fault my order was wrong ?? Nope. Instead we'll inconvenience the customer and have them wait even longer when clearly if I'm ordering to go, is the opposite of what I should be expected to have to do. Especially having worked myself in food service & hospitality, knowing they don't do anything but toss the incorrect item to the trash anyways -- seems like such a waste and inconvenience to the customer. I struggle with social anxiety and confrontation so to even have to talk to a manager is extremely difficult for me as I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble but at the same time I really don't feel like customers should be the ones suffering to these companies employees lack of care on the job. $32 and 45 minutes later as I'm writing this eating a cold biscuit (of course because retaliating against customers is always fun) I digress. I was very disappointed and upset about this location's service and food ! It was horrible! Not only did we have the slowest server ever but she completely ignored us and never checked on us. We sat there and watched while all the servers were checking on their tables, making sure drinks were taken care and serving the food in a timely manner. We finally get to order some drinks and I had a bar drink with fruit in the drink and that fruit was rotten and made my stomach turn so I didn't even finish the drink. OK so I knew it was rotten but let me be fair and double check so I asked my dining partner who eats coleslaw almost every other day made several different ways... needless to say he took one bite and it came flying back of his mouth and this is a person who is willing to eat expired food mind you so I knew if it couldn't pass the taste test with this person the food was beyond rotten. So now I already have cold food and now i cant even eat the coleslaw and no biscuits because server never came to check on us. Finally we get to flag her down and i am ready to just leave but I need to tell her about the rotten coleslaw so they dont make anyone sick and to at least get a I am sorry. So I tell her and she just looks at me and says nothing absolutely nothing so I repeat myself again and then she just picks it up and walks away with it. My jaw hit the ground and at this point I just want to get out of there so as I am gathering my stuff up to leave the server has the audacity to come up to me and say oh that coleslaw isn't bad it is made with vinegar. WHAT?????? what are you talking about I dont care how much you want to lie to me and tell me about your vinegar coleslaw that is bull**** as I cook and clean with vinegar on a daily basis and that my girl was not because of a vinegar style coleslaw! so now you have made me more frustrated just nonchalantly calling me a liar and walking away. Went in tonight around 9:30, well aware that we were arriving a little late for dine in. We tried calling but were on hold the entire drive over. We just wanted to ask if we were too late to be served and we were comfortable with leaving. We stood at the front, waiting for assistance only to be looked at by two different waitresses who turned and walked away in the opposite direction. It was so blatantly rude and made us feel so uncomfortable. We were already fine with dining elsewhere but this made us WANT to dine elsewhere. Try not to go on a Saturday afternoon just before a rush. You might not get served at all because the kitchen cannot handle it. My party of three ordered and waited and waited and waited. Then we told the ppl we want it to go. Then we waited and waited and waited. Right when we stood up to leave is when they brought our food. We order our food right away and drinks Once the salad came out the waitress brought it to the table with no silverware we wait more the 15 minutes for her to come back with them as we stared at our salads!! We had to wave down a different waitress to get them! Just had the worst experience ever and I have been here so many time. Our waitress made many mistakes which it happens i get it. It got to the point however that we asked to speak with the manger who was super nice and compassionate and helped resolve our issues completely. You know what this place deserves a great review from me. Yeah, yeah I know what you're thinking "Jamie it's just a Red Lobster". It is a Red Lobster and I am a regular customer here because my dad loves this place and honestly I don't have anything bad to say about them. Their service has always been spectacular; all of their wait staff have been nothing but fun and friendly to my very dysfunctional family. I've had many items on the menu and have enjoyed everything. Not to mention, they have a great bar. Where else can I get a double sized frozen margarita with my seafood meal? This place handles large parties gracefully and easily splits checks when needed. I went in here with my girlfriend and her daughter to get the all you can eat shrimp. Things started off slow...sat there for 10 minutes before being greeted. Finally, our server, Annie E. came over and said she would be with us in just a minute. Ok...not a problem. Then another server came over just to take our drink order. We gave it to her and asked if she could take our food order as well? When that happened, Annie came over right away and took our order. Annie seemed nice from the beginning. We ordered the shrimp and she asked if we wanted to put in 2 refills right now, since they take about 15 minutes to come out, and this would expedite things. Score! I was loving this already. Then everything went downhill. The food took almost 30 minutes to come out. At least the refills were coming soon...or at least I thought. She didn't deliver the food, and didn't stop back for almost 10 minutes. My water was empty for quite a while. She asked if we were ready for the refills. Of course we were, our food was gone. We waited another 20 minutes for the refills that take 15 minutes to come out, that were supposed to be quicker since she took them ahead of time, but that didn't happen. We ate those, and waited...and waited...and waited. She then came over and asked if we wanted more refills? No thanks I honestly didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. The one meal came with a dessert, and I just asked if we could get that...and she started walking away. I asked, as she was walking away, if I could get some more water, since they were empty, again and also a box as she was about 15 feet away. Red Lobster, to me, is just a glorified fast food restaurant that serves seafood. That doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not my first pick for seafood, considering their prices....That said, why did I come here? The usual reason you go anywhere low on your "worth my time" list, everyone else in your group wants to go. We came in because our friends wanted to do the 4 course meal deal for 15 bucks. That is a good deal, I have to say, but if you are someone like me who has dairy allergies and can't choose anything off the deal menu (everything is laden with cream or butter....), then it's not worth your time..... For me, I ordered the salmon and shrimp with a maple-something glaze.....the positive: my salmon was not overdone. The negative: since I have to specify no butter or cream on anything, they were real good about making sure the fish was dairy free (yes, that is a positve too) the funny thing is, they served the maple glaze on the side "just in case"....huh? so, I asked, does the glaze have butter in it or something? "no, but we put it on the side, just in case" yeah. I still don't get it....... Another annoying thing was the fact that my plate came with mashed potatos (note to my dairy-free peeps: restaurants like this DO NOT have dairy free mashed potatos....everything is pre-made, we're not special enough for the cook to go make our very own mashed potatos....) AND with the rice pilaf.....which, having visited here before, I'm pretty sure is not dairy free. (I asked about the rice....usally they give me a different option, like steamed veggies or something, but our server just seemed a little frazzled, and didn't quite understand what I was asking.......)
