This server was the worst.. Had no personality and was aggressive in his tone. Was annoyed when I asked for a spoon with my soup. First off they are doing a great job of keeping things social distanced and blocking off tables. Our waiter Thomas came to the table. Mask under his nose. As he walked away I had to step out from the booth as I'm sensitive to smell and he absolutely reeked of smoke. I ordered a coffee which came in a chipped and cracked mug. Tasted extremely bitter, even after 4 sugars and 3 creamers.... Waiter came back, wasn't sure if the Alfredo sauce was cooked or not with seafood... mask under his nose again. So I used Red Lobster for a delivery order as a gift. Wanted to send a lobster dinner locally and couldn't find anywhere else delivering lobster. I ordered a dinner with 2 lobster tails and lobster fettuccini. It also included potatoes and green beans. All in all, it was a nice idea and kind of what I would expect from fast food. Pasta was mushy but the lobster was edible. Served the purpose. It was a fun gift and the meal was ok. read more

Seated and the restaurant was half empty. Sat around for fifteen minutes without so much as a hello after being seated. Asked hostess about why we didn't see a waiter,she said she'd look into it (she just waited around without going anywhere and seated new incoming guests) and we sat around for another five minutes without even so much as a "we're busy" (they weren't, four of them were just standing around chatting). Had at least three different wait staff walk by us at least six times the whole time, not even looking at us. Got up and left and not a single person even looked at us on the way out, even after me hovering there to talk to a hostess or anyone at all. I got the seafood stuffed mushrooms for an app. I'm sure they are not good for you but oh so good to my tastebuds. My meal came with a choice of house salad, Caesar salad or something else I can't remember. I went all out and got the feast! Mmmmmm. It had shrimp scampi (the shrimp are kind of small but very tasty), broccoli, crab legs, fried shrimp and lobster tail. Not the hugest fan of this Red Lobster at all but I am adding a star because our waiter Antonio was very friendly and we did not have to wait for seating. Our intention was to come for Red Lobster's annual crabfest. I was craving crab legs and am desperately sorry we did not stick to Outback Steakhouse who also has a annual crab menu- which I might add is excellent. This place is downright pricey!! I have been to five star restaurants that were cheaper.I am not a coastal seafood snob, just an average person. To start we ordered two summer drinks a piece which was concocted with coconut, rum, and midori sour topped off with Southern Comfort- dangerously drinkable as the menu claims? NO! For $28 alone for the drinks you do expect it to contain more than a thimble of alcohol! For our appetizer we ordered the crab seafood dip- I took one bite and that was it! Crab is not supposed to be fishy. I was very put off by this but figured it would save my appetite for the main course. BF ordered the Ultimate Feast- lobster tail, snow crab legs, and garlic shrimp scampi which he felt was fine. I am a little more discerning and will not accept less then acceptable for $125 bill. I ordered a pound of crab legs which came with two sides I never received at all. This is crabfest mind you- at the very least get your featured menu item right and cook it properly! The crab was overcooked and not cooled after cooking. You had to be a ninja to crack the shells and get the stuck meat out of the legs. A pound of crab legs and I received a small serving of clarified butter!! It is quite obvious I am not on a diet here! There is casual dining...and then there is Red Lobster which is quite a bit more and you should expect more. When you charge top dollar you need to bring it. Went for early dinner at 5pm on a Sunday. Restaurant was mostly empty. Wait staff were just standing around talking. No one greeted us after we were seated and after 20 minutes not a single server stop by take a drink order or to say they were busy and would be with. Others around us were being seated and served. About 15 minutes in, we asked a hostess about it - she said she'd let someone know but continued to stand at the front desk. Honestly it started to feel a little targeted as servers with nothing in their hands continued to walk past the table, not even sparing us a look. We walked out, not that they noticed or cared. My husband and I had a gift card so we decided to come here for lunch. Average is the best way to describe Red Lobster. Delicious biscuits that are over-salted. Side salad that is just a few prices of lettuce, onion and cherry tomatoes (uninspired) however the champagne Italian dressing was tasty. I ordered lobster tacos that had a piece of lobster on each that was so seasoned you barely tasted lobster. Tacos were tasty just not very lobster-y however priced well at under $15.00. I ordered broccoli as a side and it was over-cooked and looked like it was past it's peak. My husband ordered a bowl of the New England clam chowder and the lunch portion of the sailor's platter with added crab stuffing in the flounder. The soup was creamy, well seasoned and delicious. The entree looked like something you might whip up at home but had a truly poor presentation. The baked potato side was loaded with salt in one spot. Weird. The fried shrimp were crispy and the scampi shrimp were tasty but mediocre at best. I didn't try the flounder because I was full on biscuits. Our service was probably the biggest downfall of our meal. Not very friendly and in a rush. Our waitress didn't introduce herself and was just pretty flat in personality. The service was some of the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. I was eating for more then an hour and a half and never got a fork or knife and I had multiple food items that required a fork. I got my refill for my drink after 40 minutes and the food was poorly done and was short on the meal I had way less then the person next to me who ordered the same. We also had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. I love red lobster but this experience was actually horrible and makes me nervous to go to any anymore. I definitely will not be returning here. The waiter was very patient even though it looked like she was covering a lot of tables and the food came out at a decent time. My mom ordered a medium steak and it was not over cooked and was perfect to her liking. It has been some time since I last visited a Red Lobster restaurant. We were encouraged by an ad we saw that had "unlimited" shrimp. But how unlimited is unlimited? was my thought. So off we went, no wait in a long line and our quest of unlimited shrimp began. There were 6 choices of shrimp preparations offered for this special: sriracha honey shrimp, garlic scampi, breaded fried shrimp, shrimp alfredo, teriyaki shrimp and lastly coconut shrimp bites. Coconut shrimp bites is served with a pina colada side sauce. Sauce was very good but it was not something I enjoyed with the coconut shrimp bites. Your shrimp feast starts with two choices and you can add additional shrimp requests as you so desire. There does come a point where you actually can't eat any more shrimp. Our server provided us with guidance (don't get the alfredo to start, finish with that), was quick on getting us additional shrimp requests and was pleasant each time she checked our status for shrimp. A former student of mine asked to meet at this Red Lobster and I went along with it, despite my philosophy listed above. Our waiter, a young man, was very professional, polite and attentive. I ordered a Stella before my dinner. He kept throwing those famous biscuits at us. Pillsbury consistency, engineered with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning. I read somewhere that they are the highest calorie free bread offering at any restaurant. Moving on! I asked the waiter if anything on the menu was not previously frozen and he said probably not but he would check. He came back and explained that the salmon was never frozen and he promised the lobsters in the tank were not frozen. So I ordered the stuffed whole lobster. Drum roll please.... It wasn't terrible! Cooked properly, nice drawn butter, stuffing was nothing remarkable but did the job. I also had a side salad with blue cheese and a baked potato (items you really can't screw up) and some cauliflower concoction that cost extra. It was unique so I decided to try it. It wasn't terrible but I would not order it again. To summarize.... Chain restaurants are evil. Everything is frozen and virtually every ingredient used in the cooking process comes from a bag or a can. Unlike several other reviewers here, I do not have fond childhood memories of Red Lobster that skew my perception of the restaurant. Not that it's horrible; it just isn't great. Three stars? Maybe. Four stars? On a really good day. But I'm sticking with two. It's been at least a year or two since I was at this Red Lobster, or any RL for that matter. I guess my taste buds have matured and blossomed in recent years. But I had a gift certificate, so why not? It was a Wednesday night and we were surprised to find that there was a wait; although it lasted only about 15 minutes. I should preface my discussion of the meal by mentioning that shortly before I arrived for dinner, I had participated in a rather vigorous workout. Meaning that I was incredibly hungry and probably would have eaten a pillow if it was salted and sauced. We started with caesar salads and the infamous biscuits. Both were tasty. For an entree, I had the lobster and shrimp pasta. (see pic) The linguine was overcooked and the sauce was okay but tasted like it came from a jar. The shrimp and lobster were tender and good. The asparagus was firm but was completely lacking flavor. Really, if I had tasted it with my eyes closed, I would not have been able to identify it. How does that even happen? What does RL do to their poor asparagus? Husband had the create your own feast; he chose the seafood stuffed flounder and the wood grilled peppercorn sirloin. He liked the flounder, but I didn't try it. He asked that his sirloin be prepared medium (what was he thinking?) but it was served well done with barely a detectable glimmer of pink in the center. I tried it; the flavor was good but it was dry and chewy. Service was moderately friendly but lacking. The waitress was rushed and her effort seemed forced. Our food came out about two minutes after Husband's soup arrived, and the man delivering it sincerely apologized that it was so quick. We agreed that we weren't ready, but we weren't going to send it back to sit under the heat lamp. My water glass was empty for about 10 minutes during the meal, even though I placed it on display at the edge of the table. The waitress finally showed up with a refill before I had to explicitly ask. **Insert sarcastic applause here.** We cleaned our plates (I told you I was hungry) and she promptly appeared. She offered dessert, but I got the "please-say-"no"-so-I-can-end-my-shift" vibe. We obliged her and declined. Although I can recall having better experiences at this RL in the past, I definitely felt that the service and food were lacking for a $50 tab for two. Or for any price, I suppose. Where to even start..... We went to red lobster to celebrate my boyfriend and dads birthday on a Friday evening. I called three days in advance to make reservations for a party of 10. Making the reservations took forever as I was put on hold 2 times before I called a third time and someone was able to take my reservations. Friday morning I again called to confirm the reservations. So we get there Friday night right on time and they tell us that it will be about 15-20 minutes because they have to set up our table. I've worked in the food service industry for several years as waitress, host, dishwasher, prep cook, etc in a variety of restaurants and never ever would I not have a reservation for 10 set up prior to their arrival. After waiting we finally got settled and had two waitresses attempting to work together but talking over each other taking our drink orders. Drinks were served in a timely manner and at least they had the common sense to give us our cheddar biscuits. However, taking our order took forever. We were all ready and waiting but apparently the waitresses had other plans. Never mind that the bigger parties are where you get bigger tips girls, never mind. When our order finally arrived a good half hour later, my boyfriends dad had to have a different fish because on a Friday night of course they don't have enough haddock in stock, my boyfriends brother completely got the wrong dish, my food was completely bland, and my boyfriends crab legs had zero meat on them. Refills on the drinks were slower than molasses - my boyfriend didn't even get his beer refill until we were signing the check. The waitresses were not communicating at all. They did manage to sing happy birthday and bring my dad and boyfriend little sundaes. However, when did they stop putting brownies on the bottom? Also, did they ever consider that some people may be lactose intolerant and should really ask before putting ice cream in front of someone? Because both my dad and boyfriend are lactose intolerant. Go figure! Giving this red lobster two stars is honestly a stretch. Overall food is standard chain food but the service is really what brought this place down. Me and my friends went out to eat on Friday 2/23. I had already eaten before so I wasnt too hungry but I wanted to come for the vibes. I ordered a drink, and to be fair we took a little while to order. After a while I realized I genuinely wasnt hungry and didnt want to order anything. My friend however wanted their unlimited shrimp they had for $27. After my friend ordered and I said I didnt want anything, our waitress said that she didnt trust it, since I didnt want anything.. She then overwhelmingly kept offering that I get a side, after I repeatedly said that I didnt want anything. She said that she was going to "let it slide".. and that I wasnt to share with my friend. Mind you, you cant take the shrimp home, if I wanted to PICK at my friend's plate who is she to say I cant have (2) shrimps out of the three skewers she has. I have at at other rev lobster locations in the past, and I have seen some that felt very dated, lax in open space and friendly staff. I have to say this visit did not disappoint. Our initial greeting was very pleasant, the hostess asked how many people were i. Our party, and asked our preference between table and booth. Most other places I have been to just kind of cramped you in a small region that had space to accommodate you when available. They did have posted on the hostess station about a change in a collectible glass they had available from a mason jar to a pint glass due to an issue with a decal on the glass. (Not that this would have effected us, but still nice to know they make others aware of this change for those who were searching for this). Upon being seated at our table, we were introduced to our waitress, who took our drink orders. (We decided to keep it simple and just have water). But they were very informative about the special promotion they had going on. They too. The time to highlight special sections on the menu. When my wife inquired about the difference between two prices listed on their "catch of the day", our waitress pointed out the difference and then gave us her suggested favorite. As well as highlighting the difference between meals and which came with a salad and choice of sides and which did not. They were very quick and efficient with bringing us our drinks and their infamous biscuits and our appetizer salads that came with our entrees. I did appreciate that they places the dressing on the side as opposed the drowning the salad in it. (Mind you salads were fresh, cold like they should be). It wasn't a long wait for the entrees to arrive, they came out fresh, hot and cooked perfectly to the way in which we ordered them. Interior decor was very clean, and had small decorations that remind you a a shopping vessel for fisherman. Tables were very clean, carpets were clean, didn't see anything that was offensive or anything that would have made me feel upset about eating at the establishment. Would I choose to return here again for another dining experience? Absolutely. I mean sure for the price point of the entrees; it does have a little of everything for everyone. We went on the Saturday before Mother's Day around 4:30 and our wait time was 45-50 minutes, and the ppl waiting to be seated were so rude, so we decided to leave and try again the following day. Which was Sunday, Mother's Day. We arrived around 1, our wait time was 20-30 minutes for a table of two! The hostess told us that they would call our names and the loud speaker could reach outside! That was a lie because after about 30 mins we went in to check and she said they already called our table. I was baffled because my husband and I never heard our names being called. Our waitress was really nice and down to earth, however, I think she was waiting one o e too many tables, because it took us 10 mins to get our drinks, 30 mins to get our appetizers, and 50 minutes to get our food. Keep in mind I only order the shrimp pasta linguine alfredo and my husband order the mussels. On the contrary the food seemed as if it was sitting under the warmer for a few mins, but since she had other table to wait on, we had to wait! She kept saying the kitchen was backed up, but oh well! My second experience here was much better thanks to Leann. She is a treasure to Red Lobster. I came here with my family that were visiting me from the city. We ordered so much food and drinks. The spot is dimly lit and it has the usual Red Lobster decor. We were seated immediately. We were given information about the specials of the evening. We were even greeted by the visiting Manager. Our meal was delicious. The biscuits were fresh. We tried some of the new drinks and they offered the lighthouse glass as one of their promotions. Overall, Leann helped to make my experience better. A solid seafood chain. They have all the usual suspects. Clean facilities. Decent servers. A bunch of Lobsters in a tank whose lives you get to play God with. When I don't have the king crab legs that keep the Discovery channel and Bon Jovi in the green I like their lobster linguini with a side of clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail or cup of clam chowder. This Red Lobster also has a nice bar with a big daddy head (see Bioshock) mounted on the counter top and is a decent family friendly atmosphere with a little less pretense (and expense) than the neighboring Reel Seafood and Bone Fish grill. I recommend their chocolate lava cookie cake. It is my favorite dessert there and sometimes the bigger reason for me going than the seafood. If you are looking for something a little fancy maybe skip this place but it is a good fit for a casual group to attend and have some decent seafood and a beer. read more

This Red Lobsters is great. I am never disappointed when I go here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The biscuits were steaming hot and cooked fresh. They didn't taste stale and warm like they were sitting around. I ordered my fav dish, the Ultimate Feast. Everything was cooked perfect. The Caesar salad will be my only complaint. The romain lettuce was soggy and didn't have snap or crisp to it. The dressing was disgusting. The clam chowder was not bad tasting but where are the actual clams lots of potatoes no clam but little bits of rubbery things I assume are clams. The shrimp in the fettuccine were the size of a nickel. The shrimp in the scampi were very small. I ordered a soda and it was flat. That was the case with our recent visit to Red Lobster... however it did not live up to our memories, or even minimum expectations. The prices were high and the quality was low, extremely low. My wife hated her food, she didn't eat most of it. Most of the seafood seems farm raised, under sized and lacking flavor. Came here on a Saturday afternoon after an intense kickboxing lesson! My friend and I wanted to try the endless shrimp, since we were both seafood lovers! We were seated very quickly since they just opened and there was 1 other table in the restaurant! We were greeted very nicely and we placed our order from the start. My friend and I both did the endless shrimp! I got the hand crafted garlic shrimp scampi & the Mediterranean shrimp! I got a side of french fries and also a Cesar salad. There were a couple of sides which included French fries, baked potato, mashed potato, broccoli and rice. The "appetizer" we got to pick from Cesar salad and a garden salad. My friend got the Nashville hot shrimp & the Mediterranean shrimp with a side of broccoli and also a Cesar salad. First our Cesar salad came out along with some of the red lobster yummy biscuits!! We dug in really fast, since we were super super hungry from our kickboxing lesson at 8:30am! Probably 10 mins came by and finally our food came out! There was A LOT of shrimps! I tried my friend's Nashville hot shrimp, and man it was so good! It had a fried coat outside of the shrimp with a little spice! It was so good! I started on my shrimp, I tried the hand crafted garlic shrimp scampi and I have to say the shrimp was very flavorful it was full of garlic and I can definitely taste the butter sauce to it! Next I tried the Mediterranean shrimp, it was pretty good but I felt like it wasn't as flavorful as the other two shrimps I tried. It had a lot of butter! It was placed on top of some rice and my rice was indeed very flavorful from all the butter drizzled on top of it. I believe the first order of shrimps is the ones that have the most shrimps and the orders after that sort of down sizes. Our next order of shrimp was the hand breaded shrimp and I got the cocktail sauce along with it, while my friend got the shrimp linguini Alfredo. I really liked the hand breaded shrimp, the cocktail sauce was really flavorful, but I definitely loved the Nashville hot shrimp, it was definitely the best! The shrimp linguini Alfredo was pretty good, but my friend could barely finish it! Our waitress came out and asked if we wanted to try this coconut popcorn shrimp one, that wasn't listed on the menu and of course were like "yesss", when it came out it indeed looked like popcorn shrimp and the sauce it came out with was full of coconut flavors, I liked it a lot! If you're doing the endless shrimp, prepare to eat a lot and definitely work with the lighter shrimps and work your way to the heavier ones (shrimp linguini Alfredo) My final verdict, my favorite shrimp had to be the Nashville Hot shrimp, then the garlic shrimp scampi, I didn't like the Mediterranean shrimp too much just because it was full of butter and wasn't as flavorful! Definitely come here if you're a seafood lover just like me! Oh and the price is about 18.99 so roughly about 20 dollars just for endless shrimp!!! I think that is worth it! Atmosphere 9 Service 10!
