My favorite restaurant! I always come here to get crab legs; they are the best. Service is always outstanding. Last time we went they gave me and my cousin extra biscuits since they were out of king crab legs- and the snow crab legs were just as delicious anyways. I called ahead and ordered the sailor platter for a hour later pickup at 12:30 pm. I had to wait 25 minutes for it.The waitress was very nice, but she seemed overworked. My husband and I went for the lobster fest two nights ago, it was a special treat for me because of my love for lobster. I ordered the most expensive lobster dinner that came with a steak and mashed potatoes and green beans. My steak was over cooked, my green beans were overcooked, old and greasy. The lobster that came in the chafing dish sat in 3/4 of an inch of grease and the lobster was crispy! The lobster that was still in the shell was also crispy, and my mash potatoes were cold. We never received our salad. Service was exceedingly slow, but it appeared that the waitresses did not have stations, they were rotating customers and I attribute that to the slow service. I used to go there in the 70's - 80's with my parents. It was nice,clean and I think a 4 star place. People dressed up to go there. That was then and this is now. Old,out dated,not so clean,people come in their Pj's like its Burger King. Food is still ok,but sometimes a bit cold because the cooks have bad timing. Our last waitress was dry,not polite,almost aggravated at something. Not us. Took forever to get our drinks. Dirty menus,sticky chairs,vents were disgustingly dirty. I was worried that dirt and dust would fall into my food. NEVER AGAIN. We go to price chopper,buy all the seafood we want and have a seafood fest at home where it's clean and the food will not get dissed. I won't go there ever again after learning from our neighbor,a young female (23) that she actually has messed with people's food because she thought she was getting crappy tips!! I'm telling no lie. Upon arriving, the women this evening who was greeting us seemed absolutely annoyed at our existence. She then seemed very upset that she could not get her seeding tablet to work. The wait time to get to a table wasn't marginally bad, about 5 to 10 minutes. However the wait to just get our drinks was about 20 and the place was not even half full. Our waitress hardly acknowledged us, I ordered an appetizer and then she all of a sudden decided to think that we were not going to order any dinner. After placing our dinner order. We waited another half hour. Our waitress was too busy with other guests and didn't even come in to check up on us. Another waitress had to bring us our food, as well as to go boxes we never saw our server again at all that night. She got us a refill of drinks and then she was gone. I did not pay her, I paid on The tablet. She did not even greet me goodbye or anything of the sort. I had to ask for to go boxes from another waitress. This establishment seems very unorganized. I'm on sure if the people here are new and if they are maybe I am being too critical. But this was an overall bad experience for my wife and I. If I could ask for a refund I certainly would. If you are looking for a family friendly location to get a bite to eat. I would suggest going elsewhere, unless you are looking to waste time and hang out with somebody that you care about. I've always found Red Lobster barely passable, but on my last visit they couldn't even live up to that low standard. A few months ago I was intrigued (conned?) by a commercial announcing various specials. They were offering several different dishes for one price. In the ad, their lobster and scallop pie looked incredible. We were greeted by a waitress who was annoyingly perky, and got our cheesy rolls while waiting for the rest of the food to arrive. They were the best part of the meal. My wife ordered a combo platter of coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. I ordered the lobster pie and shrimp linguini. Her garlic shrimp were terrible. They were *way* over-seasoned. It was like biting into a raw garlic clove. The coconut shrimp were overcooked, but editable. She sent back the garlic shrimp and replaced them with more overcooked coconut shrimp. The lobster and scallop pie, which looked so amazing on the commercial, was pathetic. There were some tiny pieces of lobster in there, if you went hunting for them. The scallops were the size and texture of pencil erasers, but not as flavorful. It was held together in a gloppy sauce of Campbell's Cream of Something-Or-Other soup and covered with a Bisquick crust. The Shrimp Linguini was made with the smallest shrimp I've even seen used in a restaurant. Teeny tiny shrimp, and not a lot of them. One of our combos included a cheesecake dessert. At the end of the meal, the Perky Waitress asked if we wanted it to go, and we said yes - we wanted time to recover from the lumps in our stomachs. Later that evening, at home, we opened the container, ready to split our cheesecake, and just laughed and laughed. It was a short, tiny wedge. We could have almost completely covered it with a 50-cent piece. Using great care, we managed to cut in half, giving each of us one forkful of cake. It wasn't very good. read more

This was my first, and last, time setting foot in a Red Lobster. Basically the Applebees of seafood restaurants this place is truly repulsive. There was no justification for the absurd wait time. The restaurants policy of no reservations made for the fun decision of stand in the freezing cold B.O. smelling entrance or stand in the even colder outside amid the stale cigarette smoke as not a single person abided by the 25 foot rule. When my party was finally seated the table had enough room around it to sit comfortably. Our drink order was taken and brought in a reasonable amount of time. The drinks and the biscuits were the only two decent things to come out of the kitchen the entire night. Ordering was a long process, getting our food took around an hour. I went with a somewhat large group, but an hour from ordering to the first plate touching the table is too long anywhere. When the food finally came it wasn't worth the wait, or any wait. The shrimp in the pasta looked like pet store brine. The noodles were surprisingly average and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a jar. The ceasar salad was nothing but the core of romaine hearts with bottled dressing. The croutons felt like they went stale sometime in the late 90s and the cheese appeared to be decoration made of wax. I ordered my steak rare and it came out like something resembling the heel of an old boot. The green beans were ill prepared; cold and still had the ends on them. The clientele at this particular restaurant made the terrible food seem tolerable. The lowest class, loudest, and most obnoxious people as a collective whole. The yelling, complaining, gallons of cologne, and worlds worst parenting coming from the surrounding tables didn't stop in the STAGGERING FOUR HOURS it took for us have our dinner. Never again. Rejected coupon, INSECT in food. When my wife and I arrived this afternoon at the Red Lobster on Wolf Road, we presented our waitress with a coupon we had printed online this morning for a 'free dessert or appetizer with the purchase of any two adult entrees'. She assured us that it was valid and we ordered an appetizer to share. However, only after we had ordered and FINISHED our appetizer were we then told "Actually, the Manager would not be honoring your coupon because it does not say Red Lobster on it", and that we would be charged full price for the appetizer. This is ridiculous. If you tell your customers that they won't be charged for something, then you shouldn't charge them for it, PERIOD - despite any discrepancies between your website and store location. But not wanting to make a scene and let it ruin our day, we went along. Then shortly after our food arrived, my wife found a big bug right in the middle of her shrimp linguini alfredo. When we were offered a replacement meal we hesitantly thought "How ironic, it looks like we would be getting a free item after all, just in the worst way possible." Wrong. We were still charged full price for the bug-free dish. In other any other decently run restaurant, we would have expected the manager to apologize in person for the dish, offer us a free replacement, and certainly not decide to reverse their coupon policy mid-meal for the appetizer. I just wonder what failure would have occurred if we decided to order dessert as well. While the waitress herself was friendly and professional, the poor and unprofessional way this Red Lobster was run was very disappointing. This was my first time eating at a Red Lobster. I always see it crowded, but needed a gift card to get me in the door. Chains like this are known for consistency, and that is what I figured I would get, a very consistent meal. For 7 pm on a Saturday, we only had to wait five minutes to get a table, which was great. The decor was open, and to be honest, I felt like it was somewhat bland. But that doesn't really matter in the long run. I ordered a steak and shrimp meal, and my girlfriend had a shrimp trio. I'm not really a big seafood fan, and my girlfriend loves shrimp. We got our salads and biscuits relatively quickly. I'd heard only good things about the biscuits. They were only alright. They felt processed, and coated with way too much butter. But the salad was pretty good. Our meals came soon after. My steak was cooked just right, but the real highlight was the shrimp. They were cooked, I think on a grill, so that they were dry on the outside, but still had all their juiciness on the inside. I had broccoli as a side. I like to get veggies, but these were the only ones to choose from without paying more (I think asparagus were an extra $3). I'd be interested to try some of their fish options, as it seems like they push the shrimp/lobster more than fish. We opted to pass on dessert. And in the end, I had a consistent meal. read more

I don't know why I still get super excited about Red Lobster. I live in Boston and we have so many awesome seafood places and no Red Lobsters. Maybe because I am deprived of it at home? So, I get all hyper about coming here only to be rather disappointed by a lot of their food. Their biscuits are so awesome, but, actually, I've found a really great recipe to make ones pretty darn close, so they don't do it for me as much as they used to. The fish is usually a bit sub-par and loses a lot of flavor somehow, maybe in the sauces. I can get way better seafood in Boston, but still, I come here. The wait here is usually obnoxiously long but we lucked out, this last time. Only about 15 mins. The seafood is decent for a chain restaurant. I really just like coming for lobsterfest maybe once a year. The new creation they have this year was a nice addition with a maine lobster tail, wood grilled shrimp and a shrimp and lobster bake.The best places for seafood are always local and close to the ocean but Red Lobster does a decent job of catering to people who don't have the luxury of being that close to the ocean all year. Our waitress took 15 MINUTES to get our drinks, then came back to tell us Guinness was out, what would we like instead, again 15 minutes later. Then she took our order, a good 10 minutes later we received salads/biscuits, I asked for a water the second we sat down, and still didn't get it. This is now 25 minutes later. Waited less than 5 min for a table, sever was accommodating when we asked to move to one of the bigger boths. Ordered Lobster Bisque and it was very good had quite a bit of lobster pieces in it. I have always loved Red Lobster, but since having to go gluten free they don't really have a lot of options for me to eat. We had a gift certificate so we decided to give it a shot. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Dan, was FANTASTIC. He went over the menu with me, went in the back and printed out the allergen menu information and helped me decide what to have. Even HE was shocked that BROCCOLI isn't listed as safe! He assured me that someone in the kitchen was also gluten free, so they could provide me with a safe meal. We made some tweaks to a wood fired grilled lobster and shrimp dish (no grill sauce, just plain butter), added a baked potato and some cole slaw and voila! It was DELICIOUS! DH of course indulged in the yummy biscuits, which smelled divine. Ah, how I miss biscuits. He ordered a lobster tail and lobster/shrimp mac & cheese. He said he liked it, but the mac & cheese had a little too much bacon in it which was overpowering to the dish. We both practically licked our plates clean. Part of the reason our meal was gross was because it was delivered. Trapping in all the heat will make seafood keep cooking. But one star for the taste of the food. I "upgraded" to get the Brussels sprouts and to get my potato with shrimp langostino. Oh, I should have taken pictures. The potato had these wee little shrimp, bullet hard with a strange thin sauce. Like the little shrimp in a can. I'm not sure what they were going for. The brussel sprouts were your run of the mill sprouts. But to get them you have to pay extra. Why? Idk. I wanted salmon, but they were out of it. They called and listed my choices. I went with the scallops, which were supposed to be big. Oh my gosh. Little nickel sized scallops. What a waste of money. We have been to Red Lobster before, however we were there on !0/14?19 and had some complaints. The were out of broccoli and were serving green beans instead. They brought out my dinner without the green beans. I was told they were not ready and would be out soon. When I did get the green beans they still had the ends on them and pieces of stems. I then wondered if they were cleaned at all ? I spoke to the waiter and he just replied that they don't normally serve green beans ( I wonder what that has to do with cleaning them properly ). I was hesitant about eating here but, I'm glad I did. The wait for a party of 2 was about 15 minutes not bad,in Brooklyn it can be at least 45 minutes depending on the day of the week, considering it was a friday evening I was impressed. The service was great, Kelly our server was very nice. She took our orders and everything arrived nice and hot. Our entrees consisted of the Admirals Feast and Seaside Shrimp Trio. Both contained Walt's Famous Shrimp, I have eaten these shrimp before and found them to be hard and disgusting. Well this Red Lobster restored my faith in these shrimp, they were prepared perfectly, golden brown and moist. Pasta was perfect and scampi was buttery just the way I like it. My friends entree was good the only issue was she found her shrimp to be a little salty, no problem I was more than happy to eat her shrimps and scallops because she finds a lot of things salty and also she doesn't like scallops. The bay scallops were sweet, tender and delicious. We didn't have any cocktails just a soda and a beer. The prices were the same as the other Red Lobsters I have eaten at however, the quality of food was better and it showed. I enjoyed my dinner completely. Definitely would come back. read more

First it started with our appetizer uncooked calamari to my waitress bringing me the completely wrong soup and then to top it off instead of snow crab legs they brought be alaskan king crab with no crab crackers and less then a half a soufflé cup of butter When I asked for a second cup of butter it was brought to me cold and coagulated. Mediocre overpriced seafood that for some reason I love to eat on rare occasions. If it wasn't for this cheddar bay biscuits I think they would be extinct by now. Make sure you bring a sweater because they keep the air condition on high. I mean you will freeze! When you ask for refills on your water after waiting awhile to be refilled. Expect that your waitress will seem annoyed. The food was over priced and you get a small portion. Normally you get cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster but not at this one. At least I didn't get any. Not sure why you would really ever go to red lobster. They have a nice looking Menu, but the second they bring the food out you start to question why you came. The food looks nothing like the pictures, it tastes horrible, and is overpriced. Definitely never waste your money on crab, lobster, or scallops here.
