It was my birthday and I thought to celebrate with my favorite food: shrimp. Who could imagine that the lunch special would have nothing of it, I ordered the shrimp scampi, well, thats all it was, about 14 maybe 16 shrimps and mash potato, as I said: NOTHING ELSE! I could not believe that it would not come with pasta, or something else. Pasta is one of the cheapest ingredients, they preferred to show how cheap they are: 14 shrimps and with only one waitress, so I waited for the bill as long as I waited for the meal. We waited a while for the food but Lara (waitress) was very nice. Four of us got all you can eat shrimp and one got a kids meal. Fabio (manager but was also cooking) messed up and didn't make our food. Lara offered us free dessert but Fabio was annoyed by this. Otherwise everything else was great. Hubby and I made a visit after I mentioned the endless shrimp ad I had seen on my phone. And so after shopping for some poster frames we found ourselves taking the left turn into this stand alone Red Lobster. While you enter at the front most of the parking is on the side and in the back. When we entered there was no one at the check-in spot but soon someone appeared and we proceeded to a table. I wasn't sure about our server to begin as she seemed distracted, however once we began speaking with her she quickly became an engaged server for which I am thankful. I am also thankful she made it easy to order the endless shrimp, no shaming. It is worth noting there are some options that were not on the menu, including a spicier option as well as a coconut version. Hubby enjoyed the scampi, teriyaki, linguine options several times over. She regularly checked on us and got hubby several plates. The electronic payment option on the table made paying easy. We will likely visit this location again, although we both agreed the biscuits have lost something we are hopeful the shrimp and other seafood options will continue to be a good place to visit when we are in the seafood mood. read more

I dined at Red Lobster for the first time in my life the week of Thanksgiving. I had always been curious about Red Lobster ever since I was a kid, watching commercials about endless shrimp. Well Red Lobster was doing endless shrimp again, so I decided to jump on the deal! We went on a Tuesday so that we could take advantage of the endless shrimp deal as well as the kids eat free on Tuesdays deal. The awesomeness of Red Lobster is that we were allowed to take advantage of both deals. So we had 4 adults and 3 kids. The endless shrimp was great! I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 types of shrimp that was offered. The biscuits were amazing! I now understand the hype around the biscuits. My kids each ordered a kids meal entree. The 4 adults ate endless shrimp until we couldn't anymore. Our server was kind and attentive. Of course, I wish the shrimp came out faster, but she wasn't slow either. She never made us feel bad for ordering more. The restaurant even offered to let my kids pet a real lobster! I was amazed that they had that. They loved it! Ultimately, Red Lobster was great. Long time customer. at one time this was a great place to go but recently the service has gone down hill like Wile Coyote's anvil off a cliff. was there with a my Wife and a few friends we all put on our orders at the same time. took over 30 min for the salads to arrive then about 15 min later the food all but what I ordered it took another 45 min or so in the bar harbor bake 2 of the mussels were not open. (not safe to eat if not open when cooked ) . By the way with most entrees say 2 sides but if you get a salad as one of your sides there is a extra surcharge. If we go to Bonefish or any other restaurant if the menu says 2 sides come with the entre and you get a salad there is no extra charge and is brought out in a few minutes with some bread to give something to snack on wile they cook your food. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night. Not super busy. We got seating right away. We were sat in a booth in the back. Unfortunately the walls were dirty in the booth. It was quite unappetizing to look out. Seemed there was food on the wall that had never been wiped off & crusted over. The table was sticky as well. That in itself made me not too excited at being there. Overall, food was good and our server was great too! We ordered the create your own: coconut shrimp, fried flounder and 7oz steak with fries & side salad. Along with the Cajun linguine. Tartar sauce made things taste worse in our opinion. We ordered drinks as well, I had a glass of Chardonnay while he had the large Bahama Mama. The server suggested we get a second shot added in the large... which only tells me they put one shot even in the large drink... so you're upgrading for a bigger drink with the same amount of alcohol :/ not worth it in my opinion. The Ultimate Feast at this Red Lobster is good. At $28 it's not too bad. You get snow crab legs (no seasoning), a lobster tail (again no seasoning; there's a buttery dip), fried shrimps, and shrimp scampi; along with rice and a side dish of your choice (I picked corn on a cob; which is a bit dry, disappointingly). Other seafood dishes are also good in terms of quality, quantity and price. Service is flawed, unfortunately. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful, but left her mind at home. She neglected to bring any tool for the crab legs, and no plate to put the shells in. Not even the lemon-y wet wipes. Nothing. We had to ask a second waitress who happened to be passing by for all of these. It took forever for our original waitress to come back to get the credit card and check. And it was 9 pm with a mostly empty restaurant (on a Thursday night). The decor is nice. Standard of the chain, but clean. They have a lobster tank (dimly lit, sadly) at the entrance. The lobsters inside are clearly meant to be cooked, as their claws are tied up. The entrance could have been better decorated and be warmer in color scheme. Was feeling a little nostalgic about Red Lobster, so returned after a decade. The inside felt vintage, was mostly empty, and a little depressing... looks like most of their business is take-out. The staff were friendly and the food was good (both the crab and lobster), but the service was excruciatingly slow, and they delivered the wrong sides. Altogether, a nice sentimental journey, but there are far better options at this price point ($60/head) to consider returning. read more

One star for the iced tea, this has been by far the worst experience my brother and I have ever had; my brother flew in from South America and as usual his first stop is to the nearest Red Lobster, the service was below average but the food?!! From the clam chowder which was nothing but some watery white sauce without any, and I mean any potatoes never-mind the clams to the Ultimate Feast which had an over cooked lobster!! Oh goodness, despite my love for the famous biscuits, I'm not sure we would return to this location. Arriving for an early lunch on a Saturday afternoon, with parking available in the front and empty tables everywhere, I would have expected better customer service...I was wrong. Although our server appeared to be quite courteous and anxious to take our order, it went downhill from there :( Getting a refill and requesting butter, forced me to get up and walk around the restaurant looking for her...when she disappeared, I had to ask the bartender for help. The biscuits seriously did not arrive until close to our meal, not sure what she meant by "they are still baking"... We ordered nice meals from the full menu, even though they had lunch options. But again, rarely saw the server for any additional refills, etc... For me, it's about the service. I went to Red Lobster for the first time over the weekend after wanting to go there for a while since i like lobsters. The service was fine but the food was, OMG, so salty!! I asked the waitress why the food food so salty and she gave me the lamest excuse. That it's seafood from salt water and that's why its salty. Seriously though? We had a terrible day today... Car got a flat... waited 5 hours for a tow. Ended the day with "let's go to Red Lobster." We got there at 7pm. There were a bunch a people waiting in the front but the hostess said it would only be 20-30 minutes. At the 30 minute mark most everyone has been sat and now new crowds showed up. Hostess said "15 minutes more." After waiting a FULL HOUR the manager came to the front. We went up to ask how much longer and she said there were still 2 parties ahead of us. The entire restaurant was mostly empty -- they are THAT under-staffed. She tried to say "we are under staffed." Um ok... so tell us when we get there. The portion servings are generous. The lobster and salmon tasted fresh. The waitress was very helpful. The biscuits were addicting as usual, and the waitress did not fail to offer too much, which we gave in to. The restaurant was neat and quiet. Overall, no complaints. A chain restaurant that manages to be pretty fantastic! With my hotel right next door, I ended up getting takeout from here a few times after a long day of training, and I love that you can pre-order your food online - it's easy, convenient and fast. I've mainly stuck to the make your own combo - picking shrimp and steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was astonishingly fresh (have I lived in Alaska too long?) and the steak was cooked EXACTLY as I wanted - leaving it tender and juicy with a nice, light char on the outside. I haven't been to one of these in ages but the cheesy garlic biscuits were as warm and delicious as they were in my childhood memories! They were also very generous w them - giving me 3 w every takeout order. I think the part I liked the most was the older gentleman (maybe the manager?) that greets people as they go into the bar area. When I first stopped in, he was entertaining some kids at the lobster tank w cool lobster facts. Later, he chased down my order even though I was crazy early for pickup. I've been to this Red Lobster a few times with my family over the years. This chain is pretty good and my food has always been correct. Even though it's a chain restaurant, the pasta dishes are always a hit! The cheddar bay biscuits are always hot and delicious, along with the salads. The most recent time I went here, I got the ultimate feast. It came out correct and everything was tasty! I got broccoli as my side dish, it was good but could have been cooked a little bit longer. The server rita is so rude. as we sat down, and she came after two minutes to see if we were ready. We obviously said no, and didn't come back for 30 minutes even when we called her 4 times. not only she was rude to us, but the people sitting behind us. When my BFF and I were younger, we would ask to go to Red Lobster with our families for special occasions, but it's been about a decade since...and we've never headed back by ourselves. That's why when we received our complementary basket of biscuits, we were so disappointed to find that they were super salty, and hard. Surely, the entree would be better. It wasn't. (On the bright side, the service was fine.) We split the "Ultimate Feast," and everything was overcooked and/or under-seasoned. The lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, rice, and fries - all of it. I've read other reviews, and apparently the lobster tail and crab legs are SUPPOSED to be plain. To start - I'm in a big Red Lobster fan. However, this location is 0/2 for me. We usually go to the Alexandria one but were in the area so stopped here. The staff and hostess were pleasant but the food was utterly bad and disappointing. Shrimp scampi is my go too but they were god awful here. Watery sauce, little taste, freezer burnt shrimp (see photo) and undercooked. Even the "homemade" blue cheese at this location was disgusting.
