Felt like the quality was downgraded. It seemed more processed like so many restaurants since the pandemic.

Service left so much to be desired. Many people wandering around, looking important while a small number of servers had tables from one end of the place to the other. Waited 15 minutes for a server to care and that one had to be shagged down. Took another 10 for drinks. Ordered ice water 3 times and never got it until I was finished eating. The rolls are tough to screw up, but salads apparently not. There is such a thing as too much dressing, though I didn't think that was possible. Garlic mashed potatoes were sticky, dry and not that great. Seafood was average. I'm not sure why I'm leaving a generous 2 stars? Probably because I'm enjoying my son's company and the waitress felt badly enough to pour his second drink properly. read more

A typical Red Lobster. Nice seafood and nice services. We drove to Notre Dame to visit and thought this would be a nice treat for the freshman in college. The lunch was delicious and not overly expensive. We ordered lobster and shrimp, shrimp scampi, cashew crusted Tilapia, and boiled flounder. Lobster and shrimps were grilled nicely, tender, full of fresh seafood flavor and NOT salty. Shrimp scampi was little bit on the salty side and soaked with butter. My mom loved the cashew crusted Tilapia, crunchy outside and soft inside. Boiled flounder was, well, boiled flounder. The good thing was it was not fishy fishy. The complimentary bread was as good as I remembered. A little bit on the salty side though. I highly recommend warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream on the top to finish the meal up. Best place to get cheaper seafood in this area. It is a quick fix and just that. The food is average. But if you are too tired or lazy to go to Walmart/meijers/martins to buy your own seafood and cook it this would be the route to go. We arrived today around 1:30 pm, we were told there would be a 20 minute wait, I asked why, since the place was about a third fill, plenty of empty tables, I was told that the wait staff were each at their max level of tables. I was going to leave but my wife said we could wait. If their going to be open for business on a Saturday at the time of day, they need to have sufficient staff instead of making people wait, both benches were full of people waiting. I could see others were as agitated as we were. When we were finally called we were seated at a table the furthest from the door, my wife is handicapped and uses a walker. There were plenty of open tables close to the door. But instead we had to walk all the back to near the restrooms. The girl that seated us never smiled and was not friendly, not just with us either. She is probably tired of people asking why their not being seated with plenty of seats available. As far as food, my baked potato was small, the side of steamed broccoli was tiny, As a cook I would be ashamed to serve either of those. I used to cook in a popular seafood restaurant in Maine so I'm a bit fussy about how seafood is cooked. On our last trip to Red Lobster my broiled seafood was perfectly prepared. It is what it is. Biscuits are good. The calamari was not. My wifes steak was undercooked and rather tough. My Caesar salad was above average, mojito was so so. My son had to have to the Ultimate Feast, it was ok. Too much garlic powder in the shrimp scampi, fake drawn butter for the lobster and crab. Our server was friendly and did a great job. They suckered period. I ordered a carry out order on October 15th for a birthday dinner. I ordered and paid for it on line. I waited 30 minutes and tried to pick it up at the Red Lobster on Main St. That was a waste of time since there was a disconnect between online ordering and the restaurant making the order. They supposedly never got the carry out, the slovenly manager implied I was lying about the order or I ordered carry out and pick up in Elkhart. News Years Eve and a nice restaurant. Seems to go together. Just didn't work out that way. We'd called for a 6:30 reservation and were seated right at 6:30. So far so good. Waited a few minutes for our server to greet us. Still good. Came by and asked for drink order, and I said we'd like an order of calamari to get started. Got our drinks and server said he was sorry, but kitchen had dropped our calamari and manager had approved an expedited replacement order. She said it was good and steak well cooked to medium rare. I had fish and chips. Was surprised they had this, but hey, it is a seafood kind of place. The one piece of cod was breaded with chewy, hard breading. Ate most of it, some parts not edible. As we were finishing up, server came by and my wife asked him how long ago they stopped serving the cheese biscuits. He said he'd get some for us to take home in a sack! What? Really? We sat twiddling our thumbs for 37 minutes, with no biscuits, no salad, no starter. And then the avalanche of food. Won't be going back anytime soon..... This Red Lobster is different. The Food is prepared and Served HOT. The atmosphere is very nice, as expected something swimming in behind Large glass. the seating area is very clean, and the food priced as expected. I'm usually there once per month and I have yet to have bad experience. They are prompt and waiting has yet to be a problem. Nothing like KING CRAB from the Crimson Crustacean. you get exactly what you want ! There is even a nice bar section with TV's of local sporting events and or Current News.... Nicest Red Lobster I have ever visited. Very bright and clean interior. My server was extremely friendly in an "ah shucks, isn't life great" kind of way. Good on a freezing day. The seafood is as one expects at a chain seafood restaurant. Consistent prepared from frozen plates that look like the pictures on the menu. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits... oh, those biscuits. Upon walking outside the restaurant the entry area was TERRIBLE! It did not look like anyone picked up trash, all over the grass and the trash cans were full with old cigarettes. The curb appeal was lack luster for sure. The live plants inside had dead leaves and you could tell the attention to detail was missing by management. We had a new server, who is going to do great! hmmm, to be the one of the biggest sea food franchises in the US, it's hard to imagine that the food wouldn't be so great. As a former lover of Red Lobster, I'm immensely disappointed. The appetizers were great, although I cannot say the same for the entrees. My partners fish and chips, was quite oily, and extremely coated. Oh, and don't even get me started about my shrimp linguine. For starters, there was a skimpy amount of Alfredo sauce mixed into the noodles, and there was no seasoning whatsoever. There were also 3 empty 2 seat tables open directly behind the check-in area. The groups ahead of us were all 3 or more. So we waited, 30 minutes pass, we get called. We are directed to one of the 2 seat empty tables, which have been unused for all of our time waiting. With menus in hand we select our meals. But no waitress arrives. A waitress works the table across the aisle, she is there 3 times. The gal who seated goes past us 4 time, no eye contact. This has gone on over 12 min, we leave 2 or 3 min later. My husband and I went to red lobster for our 35th wedding anniversary, as we have done for many years . I would say it used to be our favorite restaurant. To start the salads were so good you now have 1 choice ceasar not my favorite but gave it a try yuk. So for celebration got a lobster way over cooked had to beg for salt and pepper. My husband chose admiral feast served and tasted and served like the quality of long John silvers. Very small portion. Always left stuffed not today. My cousins (7 of us) and I went to this Red Lobster on a Monday night around 7. We were told that they did not have enough servers upfront so we were aware the service would be slow. But after waiting for our food for over an hour, we were very upset. We basically ordered shrimp, lobster and one steak. How long could that possibility take??? In response to our complaint about the wait, the waitress told us that the restaurant closed at 9:00 and we were the last customers. Several in our party ordered the endless shrimp and only received one additional serving because the restaurant was now closed. Oh yeah, the waitress also said the "good cook" left earlier in the evening. The manager came to talk to us and apologized for the wait. He said he would "try" to do something for us. After waiting 30 additional minutes for the manager to return to let us know what he would deduct from the total cost of our meals, he only deducted $5 each. Do not waste your time going to this restaurant! The food is not good and the service is mediocre. Almost 3 hours was spent in this restaurant. The worse restaurant experience EVER!! Very disappointed since Red Lobster used to be a very nice place to eat. read more

Um...no. Broiled seafood platter had tiny servings of over cooked shrimp, undercooked stuffed flounder, and itty bitty scallops. All drowned in oily butter. Raw broccoli that was peppered. Who peppers streamed broccoli? Alfredo pasta was like paste. The only thing that was good were the biscuits. The services was three stars and that is the only thing that saved them. Food is a TWO.
