I hate to do this but this Red Lobster needs to close. The place smells horrible, it's dirty and the service sucks! This is the second time trying this location while traveling for work. The first time was a year and a half ago so I forgot the first experience until about 10 minutes in. The young man that was hosting looked as though I was bothering him by coming in to eat at 8pm. Shacking his head and sucking his teeth. Then proceeded to take me all the way to the back of the restaurant surrounded by a bunch of empty tables with half eaten food and drinks still sitting on them. She took our orders and brought our drinks, napkins and straws (no utensils, had to ask for those). We got our food in a decent time. The first appetizer that was brought to the table was the calamari. Immediately I could tell it wouldn't be good. It was over fried and unseasoned. My daughter took out the breaded part, the lack of seasoning didn't bother her at all at least she was happy. Then came the crab cakes also unseasoned, I sent that one back no thanks. Finally I received my main course which was the lobster tacos. This one looked ok but there was barely any lobster meat they stuffed it with lettuce and various other toppings to make it look like there was a lot of seafood inside there wasn't :-( On the plus side the green beans were good. Didn't actually taste the broccoli. I still took the tacos home as previously mentioned I hate wasting food and I know if I leave it in the fridge someone will eat it. Bottom line save your money ps. The salads showed up very quick but the dressing for my wife's salad didn't. The waiter came over after a few minutes, realized the mistake and said he would correct it. The dressing arrived 15 minutes later... with our meal. We asked for extra napkins because we have two children, he brought 2 and then dropped them on the floor. Never to bring more. Now let's move on to the food. Not only did it take over 30 minutes, it was OVERCOOKED and rubbery. We started with the lobster stuffed mushrooms...I tasted absolutely no seafood...it was all old bay and cheese. I had the lobster bisque and it was actually quite good (definitely dip those addictive cheddar biscuits in it...mmmmm.) For our entrees, he got the sirloin and shrimp and said his sirloin was cooked perfectly and very tender. I got the mahi mahi and shrimp...the mahi mahi was wayyyyy overcooked and very dry. Awful we walked in at 11:10am to see the front door glass riddled with finger prints. The floor and tables were visibly dirty. Simply put someone forgot to cleanup the night before and they closed and opened the restaurant without checking. The carpet is stained and smells horrible. Think of spilled milk or juice that was never cleaned up. I highly recommend they get rid of the carpet or at a minimum clean and decontaminate the whole place.
