    Fish and chips, subbed potato

We were seated in a booth in the bar area so the bartender was also our server. Personality alone she is amazing but service was terrible. It's the middle of the holiday so yeah they run out of things and the truck hasn't come yet so there's no Pepsi and there's no steak for the special. We ended up getting fish and chips and the kids mac & cheese with broccoli. Food took about a half an hour or so after we placed it to come out. The pieces of fish were small, the hush puppies were so overcooked they were hollow inside. I chose potato over fries and it was good. I always enjoy a good coleslaw though theirs is a bit creamier than I like. Kids meal was hot and tasty. We were never checked back on so drinks were never refilled. The tables around us had happy birthdays, and happy anniversary song sang to them which was fine, but didn't explain why we were invisible. We were sent home with extra biscuits and a smile. At the end of the day, food was just OK and the service was lacking.

Called in an order because the web order wouldn't go through. Was told 30 minutes for the food to be ready. When i got to the restaurant for pick up I was told the food was not ready. Waited almost an hour for the food. Food was very bland. I asked for garlic butter but there was no garlic taste only butter and even the butter had no flavor.

First off I have to say that the server Trudy was great. She was friendly and very informative. We came in on what should have been a busy day but there werent many people there. Some staff didnt have anything to do. They were bored milling about. I haven't been here in many years so this might as well be a new experience for me. Menu was small and underwhelming. Prices were more than I'm used to paying for seafood. I can get cheaper seafood from a non-franchise unique restaurant. Food came out without delay. The shrimp dishes are small for the price, pasta dish was tasteless, lacking in ingredients and chicken was rubbery. Biscuits are ok but nothing to rave about. Theyre called cheddar biscuits but wheres the cheddar? Ive made better at home. Also chowder was watery. Didnt care for the mushrooms and I usually love mushrooms. Theyd need to have an overhaul to the franchise to get me to actively try to come back. Its really no wonder why so many are closing.

Date night with the hubby. Got it keep simple since he isn't a foodie. Friday night at Red Lobster used to be so busy. We call ahead to find out what was the wait time, as we were driving their. The guys on the phone was so pleasant to hubby. He put our name down. The server was so pleasant and she was on it. The shrimp Rangoon was really good. I love the twist on a classics Asian dish of crab Rangoon. The lobster pizza is sooo delicious. I get it every time since they brought to the menu. I so hope they don't discount it. My hubby got Walt favorite with a bake potatoes with a dab of Lobster meat. The pieces of lobster was pretty good pieces.

I got the butterfly gin drink again and as always, it is 10 out of 10. It isn't too sweet and it packs a punch. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. For our Mains, I got the pear salad, which was great. I didn't add any protein because my younger son got the grilled chicken kids meal with french fries. He only eats half the chicken so I got the other half. My older son got buttered noodles and a side of fries. It was very good as well, he liked the buttered noodles, but stopped halfway through, so I wouldn't be surprised if he chooses another dish next time. He does love the fries. My husband got the chimichurri steak which he should get every single time because it is delicious and my younger son eats a ton of it as well. This time he got the vegetable of the day and mashed potatoes as his sides and enjoyed both. Parking is a breeze because there is a lot of nearby street parking. It is only about 15 minutes away from LEGOLAND, so I highly recommend if you're in the area skip all the chain restaurants and come here instead.

The second we walked in, the smell hit me like, "Cancel your goals. You live here now." Smoky, delicious, slightly illegal levels of good. We were greeted and seated by a super nice guy who said, "Patrick will be right with you." Two minutes later... Patrick shows up. Five minutes later... Patrick brings drinks. Ten minutes later... Patrick brings food. At some point I leaned over to Ross and whispered, "Where is the original guy?? Did Patrick eat him??" Nope. SAME MAN. Sir is host, server, possibly chef, and I'm 90% sure he rotated the earth slightly to speed up our service. Patrick sold me on the Prime Rib sandwich like a seasoned car salesman and I folded immediately. Ross got the loaded smokehouse sandwich because he likes to pretend he makes responsible decisions. The food came out fast and looking disrespectfully good. I blacked out somewhere between bite one and "I should stop." I did not stop. I have no regrets. My diet has filed a missing persons report. And let's circle back to Patrick--this man has the energy of three employees, a double espresso, and unresolved childhood dreams. I want whatever he's having. I would follow him into battle... or at least back for dessert. As The Terminator once said, "I'll be back." Mostly because I found out Patrick works Wednesday-Saturday... and apparently those are now my "nutritional delusion" days. Would 100% trust my GPS to ruin my plans again.

The outside patio is beautifully decorated with lights, tables and chairs and greenery with foliage to create that natural outdoor vibe. When you enter, it's like walking into a small home where you greeted and seated by a hostess or server. There's a main great room and 2 smaller rooms that have seating as well and ambiance lighting throughout for intimate gatherings. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with necessities. As for the food, I got the Brussel sprouts salad without goat cheese which was delicious . It was about the size of my fist for $13. I assumed it was more of a tasting menu. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. We went on the site ahead of time and our wait list wait was less than what they estimated. I felt like that was a win. Also, our server was both attentive and pleasant and they were super slammed this Father's Day morning. And I need to back track just a little, because that first cup was really good and then they brought out a new pot of the First Watch dishwasher coffee that I have grown accustomed to. So there is that. We ordered two has meals. I got the summer special hash which had a Mexican inspired theme. The flavors were great, especially the queso. The meal was a tad above room temperature which had me thinking it had been sitting. Especially because the over easy eggs were luke warm. The other hash was about the same. Overall the food was not so good, especially for the price. But it was edible and I finished mine and it filled me so mission accomplished. Honestly though no where near amazing and other than it's uniqueness, a visit to Denny's or IHOP would have done just as good and for about a little over half the price. Still though our server was Dynamite and if it weren't for her I would be giving two stars instead of three. If the coffee didn't revert back to its weak state, it might have almost pushed it over 3 starts. Alas, here is where we are.

This is a casual restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and it is seat yourself. We picked an open table outside and sat there for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us. They then sent the server assigned to our table (Samantha). It was a quick smile-free greeting and she took our drink orders, then when serving our drinks she took our food order. After serving our food, she never stopped by our table again, although she stopped by her other tables around us several times. We had to stop her to ask for a box and our check.....she never offered drink refills even. We ordered a single cheeseburger with bacon and a side of onion rings ($14.74), a Fish Filet with no side ($14.50) and an order of Tater Kegs ($11.50). The cheeseburger with bacon looked great but didn't live up to the appearance. It was kind of tasteless....even the bacon was disappointing. The onion rings were crisp and pretty perfect. Fish Filet was large and tasty although we really would have liked more tartar sauce. The Tater kegs were also large and tasty. It was nice sitting outside with view of the lake and boat activity. This restaurant has potential to be much better....slow, minimum and cold service really takes a restaurant experience down. I hate that I cannot recommend this restaurant.

This place is absolute paradise for my Lego loving child. It's pirate themed and has epic Lego creations. My son loves the area where kids can play with Legos and it's nice for the parents too as it gives them a break. The food is served family style and you get a lot of bang for your buck as you can reorder as many things as you'd like. We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. All of this unlimited for only $39 per adult and $19 per child with drinks included. Delicious and such a fun dinner experience! Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. She let us pick off both options. We ordered the pirate one which is BBQ choices and we got some of the sea dog options for the seafood side. So sweet. We first got our bread. It was good. Tasted like a yeast bread. Came oiled and with sweet butter. It also came with a salad as well for the table which had cheese, tomatoes onion and greens. The salad dressing was light and sweet. The main food came. It came with ribs, flank steak, pulled pork, brisket, beans, string beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. 3 sauces came with it, regular bbq, mango bbq and mustard. The mango bbq had real mango in it. Now, preface by saying I understand this isn't a 5 star Michelin chef meal and I wasn't expecting much. However, this was actually very good. The steak was very good. Not dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were good not dry. The pulled pork was dry. The salmon was good, The shrimp was good, Sausage was good, the string beans were ok, the macaroni was very heavy but good and the mashed potatoes were good. Overall I was very impressed. Then for dessert came our chocolate chip covered ice cream with heath bar bits. So very fattening.
