The staff is very honest and nice. The manager on the other hand, is a rush to do your nails that is very basic and pretty simple . Yesterday, I went in because my regular person that owns her own shop was out of town. So, since I live just down the street I went in. The manager did my nails yesterday, she was in a rush with me too and I had to tell her to be careful because two times she hurt my fingers. My younger daughter went in today and was over charged for a mani-pedi, just for regular nail polish "no acrylic ", ( she has very short nails on her hands . Which smeared of course as soon as she got in her car. On my daughters pedicure she used the nail polish that is gel. All the other manicurists seem to be fine w/ their regular customers. read more

I definitely won't be coming back to this nail salon. I went in for a pedicure and while getting a pedicure- a lady next to me was getting a manicure and pedicure . The ladies nail dust blew onto me and my leggings and chair was covered in someone's nail dust. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. The lady doing my pedicure realized what has happened and said something to the nail technician. She gave me a towel to clean off. No apology. Then she proceeded to have her phone on speaker and have a conversation . No thanks. If you're looking for a clean place with good customer service - this is not the place to go to. read more

Very mediocre salon. My boyfriend's mom has been a long time customer here so I thought I would give it a try. I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure. Cleanliness was the biggest red flag for me. The staff is clearly there to get their job done as quickly as possible, but the customer service and attention to detail suffers because of it. Was in the area and decide to try this place again after many years. Was never a fan of this place due to the last time I had went the lady was very rude. Fast forward years later gave it another try again. Once again even a worse job! My nails were uneven, bubbly, bumpy & she totally filed my nails crooked and changed the shape too uhhhh I can't even tell you what shape it is! Exactly 2 days later my gels started to chip and bubble up. I ended up removing it myself & painting them. Will never go back again! Had a spa pedicure on 8/20/21. Good: color selection, spa, scrubs and masks. Not good: technician talked on personal cell phone while painting my nails and rushed my service to get to another client - I had to ask for a receipt and had to ask to finish painting the sides of my nails. Finesse is missing. What I would like to see: (1) commitment to client during a paid service (2) no personal calls during a paid service (payment is not for technician personal time; emergency calls require stepping away from the work area); (3) retail cashier processing payment (a dedicated person is essential for an establishment with so many employed technicians); (4) attention to detail. Frankly this falls on management rather than the employee. I'll try the place one more time. I will gladly increase the rating if things improve. read more

First time here with my sister. Was able to do a walk-in for me and my sister. I got gel polish (no manicure) for $15 and my sister just got regular polish and nail shaping to her natural nails for $6. The staff wasn't very friendly. The girl doing my nails didn't even greet me or say one word to me, but she did my nails fast which I liked. I was VERY uncomfortable when the nail light machine for the gel polish felt like it was gonna burn my nails off the second I put my hand in with the gel base polish. When I reacted like it hurt, the girl doing my nails looked at her coworker and smirked and didn't tell me anything. I didn't like that at all. I don't think I'll come back. UPDATE: Only 7 days later and the gel polish already chipped. Now that I think about it, I don't even think she put a top coat on. read more

It was my first time here and thought I would go during my lunch break to get a fill. Never again! The lady who did my nail took 1.5 hrs to do a fill! She did such a horrible job! She had to redo my right hand 3xs!!! Bc she kept filing them too thin and the nail was cracking already. She promised me it would not break and 1 day later it is breaking and my nail polish is coming off! Also my nails on my left hand are all thick and my right hand are thin. Do not get acrylics here. I got a set of tips that within 10 days needed a fill because they kept popping off. Within two days of the fill, I lost a nail. Went back had it replaced. Same thing the next day and the next. I'm done with this place. read more

Disrespectful Business! I speak fluent Vietnamese (even though I don't look Vietnamese) and unfortunately understood every word the rude staff had to say about all the customers to each other. They talked non stop the entire time I was there. They ridiculed every customer. Making fun of what they were wearing, and for not upgrading to more expensive treatments. The owner complained that the girls giving treatment didn't take advantage and get more money from each of the customers. They also had a long conversation about hiding money so they could take advantage of the government and not pay taxes. These are rude owners and employees who do not deserve our business. read more

It started off bad it was also my first time checking this place out. I asked how much roughly for a gel medium size "coffin" full set they told $35 I was like wow what a great price normally I pay around $65 + tip. The base that they put on your nail with the fake nail was so runny it made my hands oily as if it was baby oil she kept switch brushes and using like 3 different powders from other stations The shape was so horrible cut the nails shorter then asked and something that normally take about 35-45 min took me two hours and half to only come home and wash my hands when the gel color started lifting on my nails separating the thin fake nail to the gel polish. I called them right away and explained what happened then said to go in the following morning. I went the following morning with major attitude from the lady and and kept telling me she will only fix it this one time. I was soo annoyed she just took off the gel polish and put more of that runny powder on the nail it literally was uneven and looked horrible she then again told me she was gonna have to take the nail off and re die if and "only this one time" ... I paid $55 plus $5 tip the nails were horrible and they all broke off within days never coming or recommending this place to anyone! Avoid this place lady's read more

Worst nail salon I've been too! Not only was my fill horrible but the service was just as bad! Went in for a fill and gel manicure, the technician did it all under 30minutes, didn't take her time, rushed everything and every couple of minutes I had to point out to her to fix a mistake! Left my cuticles dry and even made two finger nails bleed, every nail is a different shape! Just bad! AND over priced, $32 for a fill, places I go to are usually $22-$25 for a fill! This was my first time receiving services here and I decided to drop by to get a gel manicure and a pedicure. I showed Cindy the picture of the coffin nails that I wanted and she carefully and gently did them exactly the size and shape I wanted. She's super sweet and really knows how to make my nails look perfect, I was so pleased !! She polished my nails very evenly and I am currently so obsessed with her work on me. Next, Kathy did my pedicure and she was so gentle on me when she did the feet scrub--it felt like a true luxury! She helped me choose a really nice summer color for my toes and did a really beautiful job ! Everyone was very sweet and treated me super friendly ! The nail shop is beautiful, clean, and organized. It's an okay place. They aren't as clean. A lot of the tools they use seem to be reused. There's one lady in particular. She seems new, she looks to follow updated regulations and does seem to use new equipment on each client. The prices seem to be over priced and the work is a hit or miss. read more

Got my eyebrows waxed. Took less than 5 minutes. Gave my eyebrows no shape. She just waxed the bottom part. Now I have rectangle eyebrows!

Poor quality. To be quite honest I'm not even sure the last lady that did my nails had the proper credentials. She had no idea what she was doing. She didn't even know how to remove the gel polish, definitely cut me a few times as she struggled to remove it. All she could do was look at my and smile. Came here as an emergency ask fo manicure I usually go to the same spot, but since I was around this area my friend ask me to go with her to get our nails done when I saw the job they did with my nails wasn't impressed but ehh, however the very same day one of the nails "GEL" polished came out that wasn't such a big deal, but it was "GEL" how come they were coming out ? So fast? Anyways I also got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed, I was very SPECIFIC with the lady about my eyebrows I asked her to please just clean them up and no to wax too much from the middle, the lady ruined my eyebrows sooo bad she also BURNED me with the wax and lefted a dam mark on my face!!!! This is the first time I've been here. The manipedi was a bit pricey for $27. The lady I got was pretty well experienced and she was pretty gentle with me. They took me in as soon as I got there which is not the usual service I get at a nail salon. The lady was kind and quiet and sort of submissive. The coworkers talked to each other quite a lot. I decided to give them another try.. so this time I requested Cindy and omg she worked miracles on my nails!! She was also nice enough to fit me in last minute, if you're getting a full set don't let anyone else touch your nails.. my pedicure was done by 2 differently ladies but they both did a great job and they are VERY clean which I love.. the only thing I would say they need is more color selection, they have beautiful colors but I've been to places that have much more selection.. I come here when I don't want to drive to Cerritos to go to Nail Spa. This is a small salon but the ladies do a good job. I love the massage chairs and I haven't had any bad experiences here. However, my mom has been cut by the older lady who works here so I try to avoid her at all costs. They have a wide selection of OPI polishes and that's what keeps me coming back here. $17 for a spa pedi isn't too bad and since it's a decent nail salon in Downey, it gets an extra star. read more
