I went in for a french tip w/ silver lining and flowers manicure as well as their basic pedicure. I am NEVER going back to this place! I have a 1/4" cut on my finger because the lady that was doing my nails got distracted while talking to her coworkers and used the nail grinding machine on my skin! eeek!I hope that I don't catch any skin disease! Our services have ranged from pedicures manicures waxing gel sculpture nails mini massages are great... I always get all 4 of us in without an issue or honestly a wait... you just need to know when to plan the trip... They are very accommodating to my Grandma and my mom's wants and needs. I sent my 82 yr old mother to this nail shop because I went once and liked that it's nearby to our house. The lady 1st looked at her feet called the rest of the workers and started saying something in Vietnamese, made my mother feel as a defect in front of other customers so embarrassing and RUDE plus they didn't cut her nails short as she asked, my mother declined to get polished just trying to get out of an uncomfortable atmosphere they charged her $22 for an incomplete job... plus the technician spent the entire time on her cell phone, none of the ladies were friendly at all, how unprofessional is this, never again!!! read more

I have not had previous positive experiences with this place. I had to really completely start going there. First off, I went there for eyelash extensions back in December of 2014 (I know this was a while ago) as well as get my nails done. I was really reluctant at first to do them because I never had them put on before. Well let me tell you, worst mistake I ever made. The lady who did the lashes did not apply them correctly to my lash line, and glued them inside my eye. Mind you... I was getting married one week after this incident. I had to pull all of them off and guess what came off with them? My eyelashes. Needless to say, I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and I just told myself to never get them done there again. I didn't go for a while after this incident. This summer, I went in there for a gel manicure. Again, worst mistake ever. In a matter of hours, the polish started peeling. I went back into the salon, so confused as to why it would come off when I've gotten so many gel manicures prior to this. When I went back into the salon, they were all very nice about it. They offered to re-do my nails at no charge, which was extremely fair. Unfortunately, the lady who did my eyelashes, was the one who was doing my nails. Great. I really wish I remembered her name. She made me file my own nails and did the most extremely careless job with it. A couple days later, the polish started peeling for the second time. At this point, I was pretty mad. I called the salon and spoke to the lady at the front desk. I told her that I wanted my money back and that I didn't want to have to keep going back into the salon because I knew it was more than likely going to do it again. She told me to come in and they would take care of it. When I got to the salon, I spoke with the front desk lady and requested for my money to be refunded. This lady told me that it was against the law to give me my money back. She also told me that it's not their fault that the polish does not stay on my nails. She told me that my nails were too oily. Umm, can anyone enlighten me as to why this has not happened before? Listen, I work in customer service and this place LACKS THAT IMMENSELY. Bottom line... Don't waste your time, horrible paint job and to add insult to injury they told me to pay before they paint my nails. Ive been to many nail salons and this is the only place I've ever seen someone say pay before service! Not sure what the reason for that was but i felt very bad about it and had to share. The entire shop has been remodeled since I started coming here over a year ago. They have upgraded their pedicure system too, so there is an added filter on the basin that's changed for each client, and there is a bag that is for each person, lining the basin. The staff is very professional, friendly, and will address any concern you might have. I went in for a basic pedicure. One of the girls started my pedicure, but another customer came in and so she went to do nails and told me the other girl would finish my pedicure. The new girl was talking continuously to the other girls during my pedicure. I couldn't believe she kept stopping and getting up to give the other girls things during the massage and then would come back and lightly rub my legs. The massage must have lasted about 2 minutes total. Terrible massage! I guess they want you to upgrade/pay more for a longer massage. They use to do a nice basic pedicure here before...I'll look for a new place. read more

I usually can wait up to three weeks and I work at a hair salon with my hands in water all the the time. I refer my own clients here all the time. First star because the place was clean and organized... Second star because we were serviced right way... First visit was this past Sunday, on Mother's Day, we went to another salon and it was full, this place was our second choice due to the location was close to our house, there were no clients, we were in such a rush that didn't realize that the emptiness was not normal. I went here to get french tips, pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. This place is great! The ladies here are very sweet and I loved the way they did my nails. I did not have an appointment but I was given attention the first moment I walked into the store and got everything done right away! When I walked in I got immediate attitude from from one of the technicians. I waited a few minutes but the way they acted towards clients that were checking out made me decide to just leave. The technicians there obviously don't like their job. It was pretty empty, so it wasnt like they could have been stressed or running behind. Let me start by saying I used to come here on a regular basis and stopped coming because I moved out of the area. I have since moved back and decided to return for a gel mani/pedi service. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The customer service was acceptable but the actual gel mai and pedi that I received was extremely disappointing. I'm speaking specifically about the paint job. It looked sloppy and I even asked a stranger next me who was also having a pedi done what their opinion was. They also agreed that it looked very messy. This shop tends to be a bit pricier than others that I have gone to so I expected more. I let the ladies know I'm normally very easy to please but this time I was very unhappy with their work. TIPS ARE CASH ONLY- NOT INCLUDED ON CARDS SO BRING CASH. Very rarely am I disappointed but I must say I was. I've never had a pedicure and left with my feet looking as though I need one. Callous removal was left on less than 3 minutes as opposed to other places. They were seemingly disappointed I opted to not get gel yet they didn't disclose they charge for removing it when giving you a new manicure. The nails gal couldn't get the shape right even though I showed her a pic of the rounded shape I wanted. They didn't make too much conversation. The massage chair was cool, color options kinda lacking. Then the bill was outrageous. I'll stick to south Downey shops. I will say they do stay open later on Saturdays than most. Nail polish peeled next day. Not good experience for the prices. Not a great value. They weren't too pleased splitting $10 between 3 which I didn't realize there was more than 2 and you cannot put tip on bill. read more

I love my spa pedicures and visit nail salons for that reason but for special occasions I get a full set. This place was on my way home so I decided to stop and get my nails done here instead of my usual place. The price on the wall said 18 and up for a full set, ok not bad. I had nothing special done just a plain, short polished set. It was an older lady that did my nails and she did an ok job, besides the little cut she gave me on my cuticle. Some of the nails were a little uneven in length. I am pretty picky so when I get my nails done I expect them to do an exceptional job. Why wouldn't they? There is so much competition with nail salons on every corner. She ended up charging me $20.00 dollars. I guess she charges two bucks for the polish. My mom likes this place which I don't blame her lol you can tell they take their time and do a good job for her... as for me tho the last time I came here I didn't care for it... they hurt both my big toes and didn't even cut my nails down when they needed to be cut.. my nail color didn't even stay on long and honestly just very expensive for me.. I moved here to California about 4 months ago. I was looking for a salon close to home so I stop here. Let remind you this wasn't my first go around. I eventually changed location and start going somewhere else due to receiving the impression of racism. So this particular day I was desperately in the need of having my nails manicure from taking off my nails. First I walked in and said Hello, no replies. Then I sat down with no one even acknowledging me. The funny part is I sat there for almost 10mins before anyone said anything. Finally a lady walks up to me and ask can I help you, I replied explaining I need my nails manicure, she looked down at my hands ask for me come sit at down at her work station. The funny part the lady that ask me to sit down is the same lady that had done my nails before. So then she sit down across from me,but in the next seat to me. Then I turn to her and ask are you going to do my nails,she replied and said I don't do then pointed at a lady who was doing a pedicure. So I politely walked out. SMH...
