Finally tried this place for brunch last Sunday. I was excited to have another brunch place in town. Service was slow. When we finally got our food the waiter served everyone but me, apparently my eggs Benedict was missing the hollandaise sauce (kind of important for eggs Benedict). He went back to the kitchen and came back with my meal. Never in my life have I seen a restaurant serve a totally broken hollandaise sauce. The eggs were swimming in melted butter and totally congealed sauce. If I hadn't been with my family I would have sent it back. I can't believe that they served that. Very disappointed. We took 2 friends out to lunch hoping for something special. I ordered the Cast Iron Chicken Breast, which was sitting in a tasteless liquid with barely warm mashed potatoes, broccoli and 2 slithers of red pepper on the side. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala which was not what he had imagined, also cool and had little flavor, even the garlic bread was cool. We did not wish to embarrass our guests so did not complain. After reading the number of 5-star ratings I would have expected a quality experience especially for the price. So very disappointed. After reading good reviews and recommendations, we decided to dine here for our anniversary. Well, the patio looked nice and we were supposed to sit outside but they told us it was too windy. So, we wound up being seated inside, which had the ambiance of a school cafeteria and the noise level to match. Additionally, they had live music which made it totally impossible for my wife and I to hear each other for most of the meal....extremely frustrating and totally amateur for what was supposed to be an "upscale" restaurant. Meal started out well enough as we were impressed with the starters which had us anticipating the main course. My seafood stew was good enough. My wife's halibut was another story all together. The portion they served her was maybe 3 oz. with a decent amount of asparagus on the side. Asparagus was good but the fish was over cooked, and oh, very very small. Totally appalled! $36 for this?!!! Key Lime was good. Chocolate cake was dry, dry, dry, dry, dry! Spent close to $200 for 2 for this???!!! WOW! We will continue to drive to the Ram in Sun Valley for their $35 crab-stuffed sole which is 100 times better and a proper portion. Additional note: the salmon offered is FARMED, which is an absolute ecological NIGHTMARE! Unreal! (Our server was great and agreed the music was way too much.) read more

Went there on the recommendation of our host at the Filmore Inn B&B. Great recommendation! As it was a Friday evening we did make a reservation on-line. We likely would have gotten in as we dined fairy early but it was comforting to have the reservation. Rocky met us at the entrance with a smile and fun attitude! We were seated at a two top booth with a view of the gorge and bridge. Too cold to sit outside but they do have a nice outdoor area. Great list of tasty drinks! We enjoyed the Evil's Sin and Right on Thyme. Prime Rib was sooo good. Shepard's Pie might have been a bit heavy on the potatoes but very tasty. No room for dessert. Ryker was our waiter, very attentive and pleasant; quite polished for such a young waiter! read more

To start you can not beat the view from this restaurant overlooking the beautiful Snake River canyon. The service I received today from Tiffany was above board and the host staff were excellent. When I asked for a refill on my coffee she went the extra mile and actually filled the cup while the coffee was brewing. The food as always is top notch, however there is one addition that I would suggest to the chief and management. It would be wonderful if you offered an eggs benedict with smoked salmon. I have had this at other restaurants and it is marvelous. read more

Omg the view!!! So awesome sitting outside on the edge of the canyon. The drinks were supper tasty. Coconut shrimp appetizer was 5 HUGE shrimp that were perfectly cooked, so yum! Hi had some fancy soup with octopus and a bunch of other seafood. It was very good, however I wish I was advised to pair it with some white wine (it's my fault for ordering a sweet cocktail). Mother's Day Brunch May 2023. We drove in from Boise for the single worst dining experience of our entire lives. We were there a few minutes before the doors were unlocked and so we were the first people sat. It started upon entering the restaurant with breathtaking panoramic views of the canyon with the morning light reflecting from burnished wood surfaces, when the server led us though a door in the back of the restaurant into a dank, disused service hallway and into a connecting event hall with disgustingly dirty carpet, haphazardly placed tables with old used-to-be-white tablecloths thrown on top, a couple menu cards, and zero ambiance whatsoever. One of the chairs had a booger crusted on it if that counts as ambiance. We ordered drinks shortly after being seated - I say 'ordered' and not 'enjoyed' because we never received them after 30 minutes (remember, we were the first people sat so presumably there wasn't a rush prior to our order). A good third of the pile of plates at the front of the buffet station were dirty (bits of dishwasher-dried-on food stuck to them), so after finding an acceptably clean one I wandered through a lackluster potluck of side dishes comprised mostly of mac/cheese and potato dishes that looked like they'd been shipped directly in from the hospital cafeteria leftovers. I settled on cold smashed potatoes, even colder stuffing, some mac/cheese bits (the only good part of the entire morning) and headed over to get some prime rib (the ham looked like they found it on the 'last chance' rack at a roadside butcher - no thank you!), and WOW was I about to be disappointed. After digging through the bundles of red napkins wrapped around dirty silverware to find something passably clean, I was trying to use my butter knife since they didn't have anything else to saw through this RAW (not medium rare and certainly not up to 120 degrees) chunk of gristly...well I guess it could be technically called prime rib, but it was mostly silver skin and uncooked fat; it could seriously have used the au jus that wasn't present to give the otherwise bland, undercooked, overly-fatty lump of beef some flavor. Truly, at this point it was just disrespectful to the cow. My wife decided on the breakfast side of the buffet and her experience was not any better. We're talking previously frozen breakfast foods: luke-warm weirdly colored 'sausage', greasy limp bacon, cold french toast and pancakes, and boxed muffins/desserts. After a half hour waiting for our drinks in our dreary converted mess hall I journeyed back through the weird hallway into the actual restaurant (which again, is breathtakingly pretty) where I tried to flag down a server. I asked about being seated in the actual restaurant (which is where I was led to believe my reservation was originally) and I was very rudely told that it was not possible. I asked to speak to a manager to check on the status of my drinks (remember them?!) and I was told there was not a manager on staff at that time and I was welcome to wait at my table in the dungeon for our drinks. This was nowhere close to what was represented on the website. If I would have known I was driving 2 hours each way to sit in a musty, dirty-carpeted room at a table with no décor and booger-crusted chairs only to be exposed to either helpless or rude staff to try to choke down disgustingly underprepared food off of dirty dishes with nothing to wash it all down, I would have laughed! And to sell this experience for Mother's day of all days? That's just straight up mean. I cannot fathom what the general population of mothers has done to make this restaurant hate them so very, very much, but rest assured, the message was received loud and clear. read more

5 star service from Rocky and 5 star view of the golf courses in the canyon! 4 star food as it was really good but not outstandingly great. We had the crab cakes, pretzels and cheese for apps. Crab cakes had corn on it wish was a little odd. Bacon jam was too sweet needs some saltiness. Cheese was phenomenal. Had the Cobb salad and fish n chips for lunch. Salad was missing the pork belly and when it came later it was just bacon bits. The fish was okay but needed to come with a lemon wedge. Got the rootbeer float for dessert which was tasty with the chocolate syrup addition but it should come with a spoon for the ice cream. read more

All I can say is, WOW!! My husband and I travel quite a bit and always research the best places to eat! The Red Hawk Gastropub is probably one of our very top best restaurant experiences while traveling! We had just visited the Perrine Coulee Falls and noticed while traveling around the Snake River an outdoor seating area with fire pits, which was overlooking the canyon rim. After a quick search, we found this restaurant was highly rated and decided to give it a try! I can't say enough about the spectacular views from our patio seating, the warmth of our tableside firepit, the truly amazing menu selections which were delicious and very reasonably priced (we ordered the Chicken Marsala served over a bed of linguini- the way it is supposed to be prepared, and the Shepherds Pie made with ribeye strip steak- I mean can it get any better?). The staff were personable, attended to all of our requests, and made the whole experience even better! I would highly recommend Red Hawk Gastropub! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, it would be a 10! If you are in the area or traveling through Twin Falls, Idaho, don't miss this incredible dining experience! read more

While driving through Twin Falls we were fortunate enough to find the Gastropub. We stayed close enough to walk. The weather was lovely and we sat on the deck and just loved the views and the ambiance. We had drinks and appetizers. Everything was delicious. The service was the best of everything we experienced. It's only been open 3 months, but I would highly recommend this new restaurant. Another great addition to the rim overlooking the canyon. The staff is kind and courteous. Dog friendly inside and out. They brought a fresh bowl of water and dog bone with whipped cream for our pooch to snack on. Food was great and the view was gorgeous. read more

The steaks are super good and the service is amazing. They play music and have a great view of the canyon. The inside is very cozy, and has the best Christmas decorations. The beer choices is what got us in the door, the View was what kept us there!! The appetizers were amazing. Honey got the baked pretzels with 3 dip choices. And I got the BBQ'd oysters. They were yummy! As the sun went down it changed the colors on the horizon each minute that passed the view got prettier and prettier. We also ordered dinner steak and lobster tail. What a wonderful dining experience that we had here. They have only been open for a short time but we we treated like royalty. We had Korean bbq wings and Bre Jetta for appitiezers. I had to put on real pants on a Saturday night to go out and look presentable. Thank goodness we picked redhawk, it made the effort worth it! This was our first time in and it was great. I can't for the life of me remember our waiters name, I want to say Dakota. He was fabulous, by far the best waiter I have had in Twin Falls. We had a steak and a Cuban sandwich, bit were so good we will be eating left overs for lunch. The view was beautiful and we did t have to talk loudly to hear each other. We just ate at RedHawk for the first time and it was fabulous! Rocky, our waiter, was excellent! We came in shortly before they were closing on a Sunday afternoon and Rocky never made us feel rushed. He helped us with our selection making several trips to the kitchen to make sure we had everything we wanted. The food was terrific, too, and the view is breathtaking. We saw several hawks soaring over the gorge as we ate. It was spectacular! Redhawk is more than a wonderful dining experience. It's a memory you'll take with you. Not many restaurants offer that. A last minute trip to Twin Falls put us in town about 8pm. Fortunately we made a dinner reservation on Open Table, so we were able to walk right in and have a seat on their patio. What an amazing view. The food was just as amazing, the NY Steak and Cod, some dinner salads, peach cobbler and table bread were all great. The waiter, Rocky, was super, talked to us about things to see since this was our first time in Twin Falls. We've been on the road for a week and a half and headed back home, what a welcome surprise to one of our unplanned days. Came in for 4th of July lunch. Wow server was super welcoming and made great suggestions. I had a salad which was delicious but the show stopper was my cocktail.
