What a fantastic view!! During our 1st visit, we were so enamoured by the view while seated outside that we canceled our initial plan to watch sunset elsewhere. How relaxing to enjoy drinks alfresco, enjoying the beautiful weather and magnificent scenery! We returned a 2nd time; arriving later, we weren't surprised that seating was limited; I was surprised to see a few young families present (confirming this is not a 21+ place). Service was pleasant by all; Shawn, however, made our experience most enjoyable; he was personable, positive, and fun! Cocktails were good; however, inconsistent (one cocktail wasn't as described; one was good-&-strong; on another, I barely tasted or felt there was any spirits). Both times, despite seeing the bartenders bustling filling orders, service was slow, even slower the busier night; I was ready to leave, content not having received my 2nd cocktail, when it was delivered over an hour later! Complaints were heard by others, as well. I don't understand the logic on the cost of their pours (compared to their bottle prices); for example, a 2 oz. pour of their: - Vodka is $28, a bottle is $44 - Gin is $28, a bottle is $54 - Overproof Bourbon is $28, a bottle is $89 - Rye Whiskey is $20, a bottle is $74 Overall, a very fun find, and utterly amazing view!

I am totally obsessed with this place! Talk about drinks with a view (and entertainment)! Huge fan of the atmosphere and vibes, especially the fire pits. You can truly just get one drink and the staff won't pressure you to leave or anything. Trust me when I say there's nothing like this in Boston. My only regret was that we didn't arrive earlier to get to spend more time here. I'm not kidding when I say I'd consider going back to Sedona just for this spot. Very highly recommend!

We came here briefly to Redwall's NYE celebration and it was such a fun way to spend the night in Sedona! The live band kept everyone entertained early on, and even though Sedona doesn't usually stay open late, they extended hours well past the usual close so people could stay for the countdown. Cocktails were top notch (their house spirits really shine here) and the views from the patio are amazing -- perfect for New Year's Eve. The vibe was lively but still relaxed, and we toasted way before midnight with the music playing. A really great local spot!!

$18 for an Old Fashioned is pretty steep but you are paying for the view and regular live music, so enjoy it. The service is quick, friendly, and helpful. Beer, wine, and small bites are on the menus. Others brought food in to have with drinks.

This place is such a lovely place to go while in the Sedona area, they don't offer a large food selection but the views and music makes the Ambiance here was a 10/10! AMAZING view from the patio and even from inside. We just arrived in Sedona and this was the first stop after checking into the hotel. The Old Fashioned with Redwall bourbon is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My parents & I stopped here for a cocktail on a beautiful Saturday afternoon but the bartenders were incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Tried to make conversation and were given 1-2 word answers. Ok- whatever. We ordered an espresso martini instead of a pumpkin martini off the menu, and two other cocktails, one with a different type of whiskey than it came with. Then when we got our bill.... $28 for 2 oz of vodka, +$ 3 for a martini, + $2 for espresso, $4 for rye whiskey. Really? What a joke. The menu item was listed as $18. $73 for 3 cocktails is highway robbery. Overall- order a coke, take a photo, and move on. Not worth your time or money. Be better Redwall.

The view from the distillery is absolutely incredible and paired well with the cozy fire pits and crafted cocktails. If it wasn't for this - the rating would've been much lower. For the price paid ($22/ for a cocktail) the service here could've used some work (actually a lot of work). It almost seemed like requesting or asking for something was putting the server or bartender out or the responses were very rude or passive or just not very customer service friendly. Sometimes service seemed inattentive. My husband and I didn't really mention anything and just continued to enjoy our cocktails / maybe it was just a bad day for the staff? I will say we were never hassled to leave or close out. However, after we closed out our tab, other customers started arguing with the server regarding drinks needing to be re-made (specifically the horchata drink) and the attitude of the staff (specially the server). Things did escalate between some customers around us and the server - with foul language used or condescending tones. We left immediately when this started. Felt very uncomfortable. Hopefully, as a business you'll fix this. Your high pricing needs to reflect your customer service as well. Hope next time we are back in Sedona this experience is improved

We loved our time at Redwall Lounge--the ambiance was amazing, warm, and perfectly matched the Sedona vibe. The drinks were excellent, clearly well-crafted and delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we went back twice during our trip, which says everything. Definitely a spot we'd recommend for a great night out.

This place is such a hidden gem in Sedona. They distill the best vodka as well as a many other spirits they distill right here in Sedona! Dee was my bartender.i absolutely love how perfect they make my Moscow Mule! The proper pour is all you need. This is coming from someone who has worked in this industry The spirits at this establishment is all made in house at this distillery using the finest ingredients Anymore and it ruins the drink. I've came in a few times. Dee absolutely surpasses my expectations. I picked up a pizza at Geraldo's Sat on the patio enjoying Thunder Mountain; as well as the night sky. Can't get any better then this! Cheers.

This is such an amazing hidden gem. We stopped by here during our honeymoon and had wonderful drinks, with wonderful music and an amazing view! The service was great and quick. I came here while on a girls trip with 6 girlfriends and we had the most wonderful time! I must start out by saying, the red rock views cannot be beat. It was a chilly January day but they had heaters and fire puts roaring, so we were still able to enjoy the beauty outside. We each had tasty craft cocktails by the fire and were able to watch the most colorful sunset that I've ever seen! I loved my cosmo martini! They also offer light bites if you need a little something with your cocktail(s). We will absolutely be back another time and I will be recommending it to my friends who plan to visit Sedona. read more

Good vibes, nice cocktails, good service. It's a solid distillery experience if you're into that kinda thing. That said, they do an amazing job on social media making it look like this place has the best view of the red rocks around. Don't be fooled. Yes, of course, they have a view but it's no different than the view you get just driving or walking through town or from many other restaurants. I mean, it's Sedona, there's views everywhere. So, go because you like distilleries and they're known for making some really good vodka, gin and browns. Don't go for the view alone. read more

A MUST visit while in Sedona. What a beautiful hangout spot to enjoy a few cocktails/beers with a scenic view of the red rock mountains. It is truly something out of a movie. The ambiance was fun and cozy. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We enjoyed live music, warm blankets provided by the staff, and toasty fire pits. They are also dog friendly, so we got to bring out two pups along with us. 10/10! read more

What a great addition to Sedona. And who saw this coming? Shelby Rd. is not known for.upscale businesses. Food: The menu offers snacks for two. Complimentary peanut butter pretzels deserve a thumbs up. Service: Attentive, but not pleasant. Ambiance: Felt a bit like Cheers. we have already gotten the chance to come here more than once and each time we had such an enjoyable experience minus the one unfriendly server both times. There is a female server that came around that never cracked a smile and acted as if she was forced to work and really did not want to me there but the male server was so friendly, approachable, and attentive so his service made up for it. Our drinks both time were crafted so well and hit all the notes that were described. The drinks we chose between two visits were espresso martini, porn star martini, Nick's old fashion, and Kentucky Buck. Again, all were so good but the one that maybe takes the lead for me was the pornstar martini. lol. I am a sucker for some bubbles. One of the best selling points of red wall is that the ambiance in unmatched. The views and the nicely spaced seating areas are great where you can enjoy your time there without feeling like sardines. I really look forward to returning and trying another one of their cocktails! read more

We sat ourselves in the outdoor area, and eventually the server took our order I got the Paloma which was good, but the presentation was poor. The server seemed like she didn't care and every other table got a heater except ours. They brought out these little snacks which was the only food in the restaurant. A friend and I came in and were greeted by friendly staff to begin. We placed our order (2 drinks) and took in the view while waiting. A group of 12 guys came in right after us and began ordering. Not only did we never get our drinks (waited 40 minutes) but they served that big group first and proceeded to get them the second round without us even getting our first. We asked many times if they were coming and still never got the drinks. We told them we were leaving and not to charge the card. They charged the card anyway and also gave themselves a $10 tip. Currently having to dispute.... Would not recommend at all when busy as they only had 1 bartender and all they serve is drinks.. insane. read more

The drinks and ambiance at Redwall Lounge were great! They make their own spirits in house so the flavors of their drinks are really unique! The bartenders were friendly and gave us a lot of local recommendations. Absolutely beautiful scenery. When we arrived, a server explained we can choose a seat and she would take our order. She was very friendly and even brought over a small bowl of snacks. They had plenty of seating that ranged from high tops to couches. I believe they have music on the weekends which would be lovely to hear in that setting. We took in the view and got a drink. I do wish the beer/wine selection was a little more extensive. read more

We went there for drinks and a cigar outside . Ok, the place has the most amazing outside space, shades, fireplace, casual seating, great views, live music. Truly awesome space. Service was excellent, great staff, manager checked in on us and told us the history the place. Inside/Outside bar snd distillery, very very cool. Drinks were a little pricey considering they make their own whisky , gin and vodka. ( 4 Drinks-tipped out at $85) But, well presented and great atmosphere. Just a great place to relax outside. Smoked a cigar , they have a good selection available, but i had my own. I'll definitely return, but save it for special occasions. Overall a fantastic evening, oh... and great singer an guitar player! read more

Our group loves to try local distilleries when we travel and unfortunately this one was a disappointment. The drinks themselves were excellent but the service was so subpar that we all left with a bad taste in our mouth and were forced to give our server a 20% tip. That was the smallest tip allowed. She knew nothing about the spirits and when asked she was very put off even by the question and made no attempt to find out the answer. Our order was incorrect and took over 15 minutes to arrive. No idea what botanicals made the gin unique or if the three beers on tap were local brewery or not. Not sure what the point of serving at a distillery is if you have zero idea or interest in the unique liquors they offer. read more

The space is nice and they have a big outdoor area with a fire! I did the tasting of their gin, vodka and bourbon and enjoyed the gin most. I wish the server would have given me more information about the liquors. I like a back story! I finished with the white Negroni which was great. read more

Update from my original review a few days ago. Like I posted before we never got our drinks and left after 35 min of waiting (while others were served around us) Well that day I made sure to close out and ensure I didn't get charged for the lack of service, the bartender apologize, and said he would just cancel it. Well I checked my CC today and it looks like I was charged anyway. now I need to go through a whole dispute with my CC. Just avoid this place, more trouble that it's worth honestly. read more

Sllloooowwwww. Ambience is nice but there is one server for the entire outdoor area and he's perfected the art of avoiding customers. He makes a straight beeline to a table and then goes back to the bar while avoiding any eye contact and making it impossible to flag him down. And while he is waiting for the bartender to make drinks he has his back to the entire area, again making it impossible to make eye contact or wave him down. read more

Came here at golden hour for some drinks before heading back to Phoenix and it was beautiful! There was such cam and beautiful live music and an amazing view. One of the best old fashions I've ever tried. Free snacks. One of the staff offered to take a photo of us in front of the beautiful view. Redwall Distillery is currently Distilling and bottling a variety of ultra premium American Whiskey's, Vodka's and Gins. All of our products are 100% Grain to Glass mashed, distilled and bottled here in Sedona at the distilley. Our tasting room is open Wednesday through Monday from 4PM until 9PM. Bottles can also be purchased odd hours in the distillery. If the gate is open, purchases can be made. Hope to see everyone soon!

As others have noted, the hotel is right off a main road and there was some construction going on that started early, which I heard. But at night it was absolutely quiet and I slept well! Loved the decor -- the whole property is a fire pit-a-palooza, which I dug. I'm sure it's less expensive in the winter, but I would recommend going at least in the spring if not in summer. It was definitely chilly in my room even with the heat turned up -- there wasn't a heating a source in the bathroom so a bit of dashing around. I'll also say that having a smores making kit in my room was a real treat and lovely surprise! Overall a comfortable, chill experience -- I'd suggest requesting a room away from the front (I think the back section may also be where they house folks bringing pets with them). I love animals and love that this place was pet-friendly, but I know that's not for everyone. Didn't try the spa out so can't rate them.

The tv doesn't work. The reason for 2 data, is because they have sl movie night where they pull up a big screen on the courtyard and watch. They also have these cool fire pits & chairs.
