I used Reebie/Allied to move from Chicago, IL to Dunedin, FL. I couldn't be more impressed with the hard working staff, and even with the estimators! I had one of the Granatas come in and estimate the total cost, and he was so close to the actual cost and even saved me money! Not only that, the staff came on time and marked everything. They even brought my bicycle and vacuum cleaner. The crew was polite and well-mannered, and even were nonplussed when the elevator was broken in Dunedin. I am beyond impressed . The crew put everything where I asked them to, and every one of my items was intact and in good shape. I am so happy with the Allied/ Reebie move to FL, and am so glad I chose Allied/ Reebie. I am so lucky I had the chance to choose them for my move. Also, Angie Burl was in constant communication with me and kept me apprised of everything that would occur. This was the worst moving company i have ever experienced. I spent $20,000 on a move that has been a nightmare. First they quoted 4 weeks and reality was 7 weeks. Packers did a terrible job packing. We found so many items damaged and missing. They convince you to spend $3000 on insurance but fail to tell you that you must unpack and find all issues while moving company is present otherwise there is zero recourse for claim. The insurance is a scam and refuse to work with customers. The movers at destination don't record missing cartons. They only record few broken items found but nothing is done to compensates. Everyone just passes the ball and offers no help to resolve. This has been the worst experience in terms of trying to find a solution for my missing items. In the end they lost valuable items because packers didn't mark items properly and delivery people don't mark missing inventory to protect insurance company. I called the next morning to get help. 4 weeks later no help. Insurance says they won't do anything. Destination movers don't even answer the phone or emails and I am left with losses to deal with. Do not use these people or the insurance as they won't pay anything and it will cause you a great deal of stress just trying to navigate unprofessional people! Please Beware, awful moving experience and very unprofessional, absolute rip-off. The moving day started off well, driver and team showed up on time. As the hours progressed they must have realized our possessions were not going to fit on the truck for a cross country move. The driver called another truck and told me we have over flow. He explained it to me that the quote we received under estimated the amount we were moving and the rest had to go into storage until another driver could transfer it. I was not happy but what could I do? The team was quickly trying to unload and load things on the main truck that they deemed essential and everything else would go into storage until it made it to us. Our stuff arrived, again on time a few days later, but this is where everything really went wrong. Amanda in the office was unresponsive when we called about the rest of our stuff in storage. The overflow is an after thought and they do not try to get it to you as fast as possible. What they deemed to be essential was a joke, we were missing so many items that were needed. When the overflow finally came 3.5 weeks later, items were broken, and missing. The driver was alone and I had to help unload the truck with him, in flip flops going up and down the ramp, quite the liability if you ask me! Nothing was wrapped in blankets to protect it, it was a complete joke. I received items that were not mine and missing items. One of the boxes that did not look familiar I opened thinking it was a box of mine that was repackaged because it was broken, well when I opened it it was full of cardboard and at the very bottom was a water bottle full of urine. I could not believe this is the service I payed for. Again Amanda in the office did nothing, she passed me to Angel her manager who was even worse. She won't answer my pone calls. They won't reimburse us for my hours of work or the broken and missing items that were in their possession. the only thing they told me was to fill out a claim which is a joke in itself. I will never recoup the $1000s of damage and lost items. Do yourself a favor if you care about your things and use somebody else for your moving needs! I wish I could do it all over again! read more

Reebie made my long distance move super easy! Great communication and the movers worked very efficiently.

TL;DR AVOID REEBIE AT ALL COSTS. Our family has moved over 10+ times, including multiple times cross country / long distance, and Reebie were by FAR the worst movers we've ever had. Some highlights from our truly awful experience: **They don't deliver on time.** - The movers missed their nearly week-long delivery window by 5 days. When we asked for an explanation about the delay, we found out it was a conscious decision by the company to screw us, because another pickup was cancelled so they were just waiting for another customer to fill their truck. **The delivery experience was terrible and exceedingly stressful.** - Expect brazen unprofessionalism. The movers do NOT care about your belongings and will be completely reckless with your stuff, banging things into walls/hanging art. One of the movers literally left a greasy black handprint on our white linen armchair - They left metal hardware and nails scattered on the floor. I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and we have an 8 year old kid. - Cherry on top, we gave them water in plastic cups which they disposed of by throwing the cups on our front lawn. **The damage claims process is opaque and arbitrary.** - Don't expect to get anything back for any damages. We estimated over $1000 worth of damage and were ultimately reimbursed next to nothing, even though we bought full insurance with zero deductible. The claims adjustor ignored multiple emails disputing their arbitrary decisions / false assumptions. - Make sure you are given an inventory checklist and USE IT judiciously. We were not provided one, and later were forced to sign a blank inventory checklist that stated we received all our items. As a result, I was not able to recoup anything for the multiple boxes that the movers lost - They will NOT reimburse you for anything they damage if you packed it yourself. They will claim that you mis-packed your items, even if THEY crushed your boxes during transportation. CONCLUSION: AVOID REEBIE AT ALL COSTS. read more

Having never had bed bugs, two days after using Reebie for a move my wife was bitten, and a few days later we saw a bed bug. Our exterminator found a total of two, and given the timing and the low number thought that it was most likely from the move. Reebie declined to take any responsibility, financial or otherwise, and rejected any compensation towards the hefty extermination costs. I used them for a move from Chicago to NC. The packing and loading was OK. They gave me a 4-day delivery window. They were three days late from that window. Meaning I moved in and had to wait a whole additional week for my stuff. When it finally arrived, multiple items were damaged; despite having the insurance and waiting for months for the payout. They never reimbursed me because they devalued my items and quoted technicalities. I have moved a lot in my life. I would advise against using this company. read more

If possible I would give ZERO stars. This company is awful. I've done cross-country moves 3 times w/o issue. They intentionally misrepresent the condition of your belongings prior to the move, claiming small tears and dings of virtually everything you own so that later they will be able to deny claims of damage. Their staff on site will mislead you as to what you are signing, calling this documentation a simple inventory. If you have claims you will be sent on a wild goose chase to have the claim filed and wait nearly 2 months for any sort of resolution. 10/10 would never use again, would never recommend. read more

I am having a very frustrating experience with Reebie. I contacted them to arrange a move from Washington to Chicago. They provided two options--a standard option and an express option, with the express option being significantly more expensive. I chose the express option, because it guaranteed a delivery on the Monday before I had to start a new job. After the picked up my belongings, I contacted them multiple times to make sure everything was on track. I didn't hear anything back until the Friday before my move-in day, when I was told my items were in Pennsylvania, not Chicago, and wouldn't get in on time for Monday. I was told I would get my items on Tuesday. I book a hotel for a night. Monday comes along, and I hear that things won't get delivered on Tuesday either--but it'll come first thing Wednesday. Today is Tuesday, and I'm being told in the morning that it won't come Wednesday, but Thursday is possible and definitely by Friday. Now it's Tuesday night, and Friday isn't even guaranteed. So much for an Express option guarantee! I've spent hundreds of dollars on hotels (booking them every night), have inconvenienced my job and my family, and still have no clue where my things are or when they are getting to me. Just a horrible, terrible experience. I hope Reebie can make this right. If not, I'd advise everyone to please steer clear. read more

Excellent packing and unloading by their people. Two small items were broken in our move and the zero deductible coverage took care of those. One item, however, was lost during the packing, storage and unloading by Reebie staff. Three simple shelves for a value of just over one hundred dollars. I filed a claim along with the broken items. I was informed they 'delivered everything on the inventory' and the shelves (which had completely vanished were not their problem. I tried to call to discuss with a human but was simply referred back to 'put your comments in writing.' Not impressive and frankly not very professional. I will try and be pithy about a long, insipid story with these cretins. First, if you value your belongings, well being and health--run/don't look back. You've been warned. A crew of four came to my house and took it upon themselves to wear masks around their necks. I'm gonna tell it straight here, because I always do. To put it mildly, I had a cow. Yeah I screamed. My husband knew I would scream, but didn't make them comply for the 2 minutes I was out of house. Well, they pulled the masks up but didn't really cover their noses. They swore in Spanish and tee hee'd at me. I have been super compliant with masks, because I want the world to lose this scourge. So yeah, I'm passionate about this topic. Second part of move, into new place, the "workers" stared at me dead in the eyes. You got it; noses free as cranes flying carelessly in the wind. Defiantly, like men children and grossly disregarding my feelings and Chicago's current standards of public health, they glared at me. I was insulted, indignant and stymied. They broke items, manhandled things. Carried too many boxes up here at one time, dropping them in bunches of four, with sighs from what could've been emitted from the walking dead. Grunts and groans and more under their breath comments, while complaining about how tired they were. They were babies, along with having issues with rules. The move, in same zip code one place to other, took nine hours for these whining brats. I know people work hard; I've worked tons in all kinds of weather myself. I emailed about the mask issue and spoke to a not very bright lady named K, ( like the Kafka reference?) and she made it clear she was siding with her crew. The cheek! The twaddle out of her mouth was insulting because she was on the defense instead of helping irate customer. Bad K. I checked the owner's Facebook page. I came across a nice tidbit on his wall, asking friends for nice reviews because "they filter all the good ones." Boo hoo. Another whiner. ( and another reason to doubt any 5 star reviews you see.) I told Miss K. I was going to call the health department. She totally did not care. Today I received a claim form. They are not dealing with me at all. Not one whit. They are robbers, liars, deflectors. I died laughing looking at the Reebie Facebook page. Their famous Egyptian statues are wearing masks! Ain't that the end all? I hope for the entire city and the world for COVID to end. I feel my issue with this treatment will never be resolved--with the talk to this one, do a cartwheel and talk to that one. We hired Reebie for our Out of State move. We were given a few other quotes from competitors and Reebie stood above everyone else in their professionalism. The were able to store our belongings for 6 months while we have been working on finding the home of our dreams. To be fair, we had an issue during the process, they told us that it would be resolved and they made it right! Not only are they making it right but they are adding measures to make sure the issue will not happen to other clients. That is the sign of a great company! I have to say, I am very happy with how they have worked with us on this issue and made it right. My father always told me "It is not the mistakes we make, but the way we make them right that makes us who we are". And this holds true even in the crazy times of COVID. I am pretty fortunate to have been able to hire professional help for the boxing/packing of the entirety of my home. 3200 sq ft of valuables and antique fragilities were packed without a single item bruised or broken, leaving me with such great relief. The bidding appointment, prior to hiring, was a thorough observation of the possessions and furniture pieces needed to be packed AND transported.. Crew of 5 guys did the packing. The guys that helped me on Saturday @Kennelly (8hours of packing)... were so generous and helpful in all they did. They refused to let me pack a single item, and insisted they do the work. I greatly enjoyed their company, as well. Total of 8 guys to move my boxes/furniture into new property. The total job - $15K. Pricey, but worth the money. Wouldn't use these guys to move a dog house after what we had to deal with. First, they missed the first date. So we rescheduled for the next day. We were told this would be a live load and they would drive it straight to ATL and unload. Then we found out it would be a shared ride with another household of stuff. No big deal as long as it all gets there. When they get to ATL we find out they have to unload over two days because they have unloaded out stuff to a warehouse or something, then reloaded onto two smaller truck. Cost me an extra day off work. So our belongings have been moved 3 times going on four. Increasing the handling and chance of damage. While unloading at the new house, they dropped a crate and dented the hardwood floor that I am now responsible for the damage. When we unpacked and found several items broken and the motor/pump for the SelectComfort bed was missing we were told to file a claim, value almost $800. (Note: we paid extra for the extra insurance and lower deductible). The claim was denied. They said because they didn't pack the items, they were not responsible.... Then why charge for the insurance. And they did pack the pump for the bed, so they were responsible. Yet they still refused to compensate. Since that time we have found additional broken items, but its just at out loss now. Do not use these guys. And if you do, certainly do not fall for the insurance SCAM. read more

I was entrusted with the task of organizing a move for my mother from Illinois to New York after the passing of my father. Being that it was a sad and stressful time for my family, we thought that it would be best to use a moving company rather than try a POD or do it ourselves. Reebie is a local mover in my area of Illinois, so I contacted them for a quote and information. Luckily I was greeted by Jackie P. She was an amazing resource for my family as we planned and organized the move. We were pretty much "besties" by the end, as she and I would text regularly with updates! Carmen who contacted me after we signed the contract and throughout the process was also friendly and helpful. The day of the move, Zach and the crew showed up on time and were quick and professional. When the load arrived in New York it was on time, although at the end of our spread. Jim and his crew did a great job putting everything where my mom wanted it and were also very quick and professional. I would recommend Reebie if you are moving out of state. Their prices are competitive with others around and in my opinion you get what you pay for. Horrible experience using Reebie to move long distance. When we had our initial consult, we were told that the day before our belongings were going to be packed on the truck, we would find out a delivery date in our new home location. So we signed with Reebie and paid extra for more insurance coverage. Well we didn't find out our deliver date the day before. We called then next day and the company didn't have an answer and said they would call the driver and would call us back. No one called. Then it was a Sunday and the office was closed. So we booked it over two days to our new home so that we could be there in case the truck showed up. Well, 30 minutes outside of our new home we get a call that the truck will be coming the NEXT weekend. So we ended up having to stay for a week without anything in our new home. We wasted a week of vacation time and had nothing. Then when our belongings finally arrived, a ton of our furniture was broken. Our TV console literally crumbled to the floor when they set it down in our new house. How someone can cause that kind of damage I don't know. One of our dining chars had the back broken completely off and there were globs of dried glue all over it. The truck driver told us that the warehouse staff tried to fix it themselves. They just caused more damage to it. We had a number of boxes labeled 'fragile' and 'do not stack' that were dented and crushed when placed in our house. These are just some of many examples. We filled out a claim for all of our broken things and they sent an appraiser to look at everything. They agreed to some repayment of items based on the cost to fix things. Then there were a number of items they were not willing to make any kind of payment on because they don't think it was transit damage. We pointed out to the company that the packers wrote up documentation noting scratches and pre existing damage before moving us out of our Chicago home and that none of the damage that is new was noted because it didn't exist before. The response was that they can't capture ALL DAMAGE and that lighting could have been bad so they didn't see it! They literally don't care about their customers. They are unwilling to take responsibility for poor care. Customers have no safeguard because it doesn't matter to them that people pay extra for insurance. And if they aren't going to take the pre-move paperwork seriously then they shouldn't even have it. Its been 6 weeks since our move and still having to go back and fourth with them. We finally threw in the towel because its obvious they don't want to have to reimburse people when they make mistakes. Will NEVER use this company or recommend to anyone. Stay away from them it is more frustration and stress than you want/need/should have to endure. We moved all of the same furniture from New York to Chicago 5 years ago ourselves and had no damages and a lot less stress. read more

We got three quotes from three different moving companies and Reebie was not only the least expensive but also the one who was on-top of answering every question. Tim was very helpful and knowledgable about the whole process. My husband and I packed most of our stuff. The items Reebie packed were treated very well. They were fast and flawless even when building custom crates for our artwork. Reebie even found an easy way to pack our Sleep Number bed (which is a real doozy.) When we arrived in San Diego, our shipment came three days early! Our only casualties was a small mirror that arrived broken, a part missing from our lamp and a lost bike lock. That was it! I think that was pretty darn good. Every box was accounted for and Marek's crew (that unpacked and put together our new home) did a great job as well. My husband and I used Reebie for our long distance move (from Chicago to PA). I feel compelled to write this review because my experience was so bad. The level of service was far from the excellent reviews that I read on yelp when making the decision of which movers to hire. In fairness, I will note the positives in the experience, then explain why this company barely earned one star. The process began fine - the sales person was courteous and was able to accommodate the dates that we were looking for. He was professional and very helpful during the estimate. The other staff at Reebie were also friendly and helpful when it came to recommending moving supplies for purchase and confirming the move. Fast forward to the date that movers came to LOAD our truck. Things remained positive at this point. The movers arrived on time and worked efficiently. They were friendly and professional, and appeared to do an excellent job loading the truck. Now, I will explain when things took a sudden turn - the UNLOAD of the truck is when things became HORRIBLE. The first warning was that the truck arrived 2.5 HOURS late. We were given an arrival of 8-10 am, and the truck finally pulled in at 12:30 pm. Ordinarily, I would not have been concerned except for that I had been coordinating with Reebie for weeks to ensure that we would be finished with the unload by 2 pm. Our high rise building would only allow us to reserve the elevator until 2 pm. I wish that was the end of the story, but it is not. Once the driver finally arrived, he pulled up in a tiny shuttle. I was told that they would use a shuttle, but this truck could not possibly fit all of our things. As I suspected, the truck did not have all of our things. Not only were they late, but they had left half of our belongings in a warehouse over 2 hours round trip away!! Even this would not be bad enough to earn one star. Enter Jersey, the "leader" of the movers unloading our truck. When the truck was opened, I saw dozens of SMASHED boxes, boxes marked clearly with "VERY FRAGILE - CRYSTAL" and "THIS SIDE UP" - these boxes were smashed at the bottom of the truck. I didn't start crying with rage until I saw our brand new mattress completely unwrapped (it had been wrapped and boxed prior to packing) and sitting on the dirty truck floor! I am a reasonable person, but this experience was beyond awful. It was the most stressful move I have ever experienced. The movers assisting Jersey even told me when he went inside that they had never seen such a terrible, unprofessional moving job. What really angered me the most in all of this was that Reebie stopped answering my calls and cut off communication once things went wrong. They also tried to tell me that it was acceptable that our mattress had been unpackaged even though I specifically asked our salesman about mattress covering before I booked the movers. He assured me that they would never load an unpackaged mattress. I should disclose that there was ultimately no major damage to our belongings (by some miracle only). HOWEVER, I would NEVER recommend Reebie to anyone because of how unprofessional and stressful this experience turned out. Do yourself a favor and don't use Reebie for long distance moves. read more

No sign of my shipment 6 days after the close of Reebie's delivery spread. I have aches and pains all over from alternately sleeping on the floor and an air mattress, and I am missing clothing, contact lenses, and countless other essentials that I have no time or money to replace (just started a new job). All Reebie has done is offered a measly $100 "gift certificate," though that was 7 days ago and I have yet to receive it. My things were packed on 8/27, and I was given an initial delivery spread of 9/4-9/14. In the middle of those dates, something came up and I had to be out of town for a few days. I spoke to a representative, and she said I had two options: (a) keep the current delivery spread and pay for storage and redelivery if the shipment arrived during my absence; or (b) shift the delivery spread to 9/12-9/18. I was hesitant about getting my things later, but the representative recommended shifting the spread as the best solution. On 9/17, Reebie told me that my shipment had just left my hometown and that there was no way the shipment would reach me by 9/18. My employer contacted them on my behalf, and Reebie blamed my date change for the delay. This is completely unjustified, because Reebie told me 9/12-9/18 would be the new delivery spread. If they had informed me that delays could result from the change, I certainly would have opted to keep my original dates and pay any storage and redelivery charges. Today is 9/24, and there is still no word on my shipment (or the gift certificate). I simply cannot believe that Reebie has made no reparations and that they have blamed me for their delays. Using Reebie was the first time I had hired professional movers. Before then I had always roped my friends into helping me move or just doing it with my roommate(s). But at this point I had acquired way too much stuff to make that viable and swore off U-Hauling my crap and furniture on my own. To be honest, I didn't shop around that much. After talking with them, Reebie seemed friendly and re-assuring and I was probably too lazy to figure something else out. But the day of the move, they were very prompt and professional. I didn't have everything completely packed away, and the movers came prepared with a variety of boxes to help me out. I mostly just stood by as they packed stuff away, met them at the new place and was finished by lunch, even with a 3 floor walk-up. I don't plan on moving in the near future, but when I do I'll be sure to use them again! read more

Let's face it there are some pretty bad moving services out there. It sometimes feels like companies just round up a couple homeless guys the day of the move and give them a trolley, no offense to homeless people (or trolleys). However, this was not the case with Reebie. The movers showed up right on time. A neighbor's car was blocking the space they needed to move things out of. When I told them I couldn't figure out whose car it was they simply worked around it. They were able to get our whole two bedroom condo loaded and moved in just over 4 1/2 hours. However, it was really the little things they did like taking extra care in wrapping items and taping boxes to the wood floor to prevent damage when moving some of the larger furniture. Our items arrived quickly and nothing was damaged, you could tell these three guys work together often. The estimate was $600 and the final price came to $640. First the pros: * The team that packed our things in Chicago and unloaded them into temporary storage in DC was friendly, methodical, and, for the most part, careful. * Most of our stuff was packed and handled very well (but not all of it -- see below). * Our stuff arrived in DC right on schedule, as promised. The cons: * All of our wardrobe boxes were crushed at some point on the trip. Our clothes had been repackaged in different boxes when they arrived. This probably would not have been a problem except for the fact that we later discovered some of our clothing was missing. * Some other stuff was damaged in transit (i.e., vacuum cleaner broken; cat condo destroyed; one filing cabinet shipped upside down so internal rails were damaged and all papers were strewn about inside, and another wooden filing cabinet arrived in about ten broken pieces; and a few other things). * The inventory stickers fell off many of the boxes in transit so it was impossible to keep track of what had arrived and what hadn't. read more

Terrible experience!! I made my reservation with John Tekiela and provided him a very specific list of the items to move (size, quantity, # of wardrobe boxes, etc), that all other items would be boxed already, and that I had specific times that the move had to take place (I had the elevator reserved for 3 hours at each bldg). My move was 2 bed, 2 bath. I have done the same move 4 times in the past 2 years with the same furniture/possessions and elevator blocks at each location, and never had an issue getting it done with plenty of time to spare on each end. That said, John said a 3 man crew would be more than enough but I proactively told him I wanted a 4 man crew based on my prior experience to make sure that we could comfortably get the move done in the time window. The day before my move I received a call from Reebie stating that the crew would be at my origin location 3 hours before I scheduled the move to begin with John. It took several calls to get that resolved. Then the day of the move I received a call at the time the crew was scheduled to arrive stating that they did not know where my address was and needed directions. My bldg was 1 block off Michigan Ave on Ohio St. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Once the crew arrived I walked them thru the items being moved and explained that I only had the elevator for 3 hours at each location. 2 hours in they were not even half way done. I tried to explain to the foreman but another one of the crew members told me he doesn't speak English. I called John at this point and explained the situation. He told me he would call the ops mgr and take care of it. This is an important point because I later found out that he did not talk to the ops mgr. I then found out that the crew did not have enough packing materials (furniture pads, wardrobe boxes, mattress wrap, etc) despite the fact that I provided John with an exact list of items to move when booking the move. This resulted in the crew not being able to properly protect all of my furniture and they actually had to leave two closets of clothes behind. The crew also did not have the proper boxes to pack my 2 plasma TVs even though John specifically asked me what size they were and said that I had to pay an extra $100 for each TV for the special boxes they required to pack them in. I took pictures of the packed TVs (I would be happy to send them to anyone) as the crew had to cut open the ends of the boxes on both sides since the TVs wouldn't fit and they were exposed to possible damage (both of my TVs cost over $7,000 new so I was very frustrated since I had to pay extra for these boxes). They also dissembled the base of one of the TVs the wrong way even though it was clearly marked how to do so, resulting in stripping the bolts on the stand. It took them 4.5 hours to pack the truck and I helped them pack the last 90 minutes. At this point we were already into the 3 hour block of time I had the elevator reserved at my new bldg. I explained this to the crew and that I needed them to get to the new bldg ASAP. 15 minutes after they left the pickup location I received a phone call from one of the crew members stating that they were going to lunch and would be at the new bldg in 45 mins. I told them that was completely unacceptable and the crew member hung up on me. 5 mins later I called the main Reebie office and asked to speak tot he ops mgr (Gary). I asked him if John had contacted him earlier about the issues I was having and explained the current situation. Gary told me this was the first he was hearing about any of this and that he would call the crew and then call me back. Gary called me back about 5 mins later and said the crew would arrive at the new bldg in about 5 mins. It took another 20 mins for them to arrive. At this point I had less than an hour left to use the elevator. I instructed the crew to bring all the items to the unit and not spend any time removing packing materials as I wanted to make sure they could get the truck unpacked as quickly as possible. I had to remove all the furniture pads and other packing materials myself while they unpacked the truck. One of my bed frames was badly damaged because it was not wrapped in furniture pads because the crew did not have enough, again, despite the fact that I had provided John with an exact list of items to be included in the move. I had a few items that had to be delivered to a storage unit and by the time we got there the crew had lost any sense of professionalism they tried to have earlier in the day. They were literally throwing boxes into the storage unit with no regard for contents or where they ended up. Overall this was the worst moving experience of my life. I used Reebie in 2003 and had a great experience. Since then I have used Golan's (highly recommend) but they didn't have any availability for my move last month so I decided to try Reebie again. Dear Mr. Sal Manso, In your last post you mentioned you would do anything to help resolve the dispute. What have you done to get this moving in the right direction? Was it saying that you are not willing to talk to me and I must settle the claim with Allied / Sirva? We are still without settlement over 12 weeks later. We have over $21,000 in damaged goods and have received less than $600 in payment towards the damages. When will the remaining items be paid for? As it stands you have paid for the repairs on less than half a bicycle..... Actions speak much louder than words Sal. Please do tell us what your plan is to resolve the situation. used Reebie for our long distance move. They were superb. Received an estimate back in early August and scheduled a pack and pick up day. Their customer service team was in contact with me every step of the way. Packers were efficient, careful and documented everything. The driver arrived in California on the promised day, unloaded and set up quickly but again efficient. Great crew! read more

Reebie has a very curteous staff, and the actual movers were great. Everything was very orderly loaded and unloaded in a very timely fashion. Where things got really messed up is with the estimator. I am not in the moving business and cannot make a justified estimate of the weight of my apartment, hence why i hired a professional to come out and do that. I went with Reebie because they sent out an estimator to tell me exactly how much weight and extra space i had. Here is how it broke down. Move Weight Estimate: 500lbs Minimum truck load: 1000lbs Estimator told me i had 400-500 lbs of extra space i could use and would still only be charged the minimum of $2000 +/- some change. I added 10 boxes, all under 30 lbs to bring my total up to 750lbs-800lbs, or so i thought in my mind. 3 days later, when the truck is somewhere in the middle of Colorado, Nebraska or Utah, i get a new bill saying that my weight had increased to 1750 lbs!!!!!!!! but luckily Reebie was going to be reasonable and only charge me for 1500lbs, how nice of them. My question is how can someone who is a professional in the moving business going to underestimate the weight of my move by 1250lbs!!!!! Answer: He is not, but he is going to wait until he knows there is nothing you can do about getting your stuff back to tell you that you owe an additonal $750. If you use reebie, get multiple in person estimates from other companies, not just "apartment size" estimates. Move was Chicago to SF. read more

We recent moved from Chicago to Wheaton and chose Reebie (Allied) for our moving company. They (2 guys) came the first day to pack all of our kitchen, dining room, pictures, lamps and other breakables. They did an excellent job and in far less time that we could have ever packed all of that. The next day Sergio and his crew (5 men in total) came and loaded our condo into the truck and also loaded a storage unit down the street into the truck. They took a short lunch, and then unloaded the truck into our new home. They put every box and piece of furniture just where we wanted it. We have been upacking for two days and most of it being breakable items and the items they packed. I am happy to say that there was only one small item broken out of over 30 boxes, and there was no noticeable damage to any of the furniture that they moved. If I had to move again tomorrow, I would definately choose Reebie, and also ask for the same crew of men. Finallly, in comparison to the other professional moving quotes we received, they we by far the most economical. read more

Moved in Dec 2010 from Chicago to Michigan. Can't say enough good things about Reebie. If you're doing research and who to hire for a move (like I was), you've found your moving company. These guys are pros. They give you a firm estimate. They get parking permits for your street. They come a couple days early and pack everything for you - even take apart beds and pack them, including mattresses into boxes. And move everything to the truck - to your new place - to the room you want in your new place. Every step of the way, you just keep saying, "wow, these guys know what they're doing." And they were always on time and even called ahead to let me know exactly when they'd arrive. Good luck! read more

Our move from Chicago to Florida was virtually perfect, and we have Reebie to thank. Bill estimated the cost perfectly, boxes came a week beforehand, and the local crew packed what we didn't, and loaded everything onto the 18-wheeler. The leader of the moving crew, Frank Russell, was outstanding, and even knew how to get to the Florida neighborhood we'd be moving to. Every estimate was perfect, including how long it would take to pack, move, and unload. They were at our new home on unpack day before we were! Frank also told us that they would take away any boxes that we unpacked before they left, which helped us clean up a little bit faster. We got rid of at least 20 boxes this way, and it also allowed us to look for damage, and chip away at the huge unpacking job ahead of us. Other moving companies had a large difference between the web quote and the actual quote, or they sell the boxes that Reebie included for free (Mayflower also offered to sell used boxes, but wouldn't comment on possible bedbug issues). Our experience was great, and I am grateful that Frank and his local teams moved us so easily to our new home. read more
