We have been here twice and we won't be back. The place reeks of grease. The food is subpar nothing spectacular but you will pay more on Friday nights because they serve crab legs. I think the price that you pay for the food quality is a ripoff. There are four of us in our family - three of us had stomach issues when we got home last night. I think the health department needs to conduct an inspection of this place because I think they will shut them down. We tried this place shortly after it opened not sure of what kind of cruisine would be offered. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful as we have seen it under construction for several months (used to be a golden corral). We were hoping for a 'Furr's' type of buffet but found that the buffet is mainly a mix of oriental with a few 'american' options on the buffet like meat loaf. Having a full size sushi bar with a working sushi chef is a HUGE benefit to this place, and it is why I give the place 4 stars rather than just the 3 it would get otherwise. While we were there we noticed the staff actively cycling out food that was no longer 'fresh', which is another plus to this place. Definitely a place to try if you like lots of unlimited sushi options. read more

I really liked this place ,excellent food and choices. however, i went in last week to get lunch as I have been doing about 2-3 times a week and went in for the $4.99 lunch buffet and was here before 3:30 and the cashier, Carrie,, over charged me and was insisting that I had all seafood and was charging me more. I had a small piece of fish and small portion of salmon and a 2 claims, I had the green beans and two stuffed mushrooms. It was less than a pound but charged me $7.97. I have been going there almost exclusively for my lunch and have been paying for the $4.99 and sometimes had more seafood than the other day. One of the best buffets in Lewisville! The food is delicious and not super greasy or oily like other places. I also really like the sushi - which is rare. The only thing is that the waiters are way too good at their job, they try to take your plates every minute! :) definitely recommend to anyone who wants some good Chinese buffet! read more

Tried Regal Buffet last night for the first time tonight. Everything we tasted was fresh and very tasty. Even the suschi was delicious! We always enjoy going here, they have a good selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. If there's something on the buffet that's missing, that was there on other visit, Ask for it because when we have they have brought it out. even when what you that's there but out, they'll bring it. The buffet choices were abundant although we tend to eat only items with chicken or chicken itself and the traditional stuff like egg rolls, crab rangoon, etc. The quality was better than average compared to other similar buffets I've encountered across the country. I could only go 3 stars overall (rather than 4) as the cost for two dinner buffets and 2 soft drinks ( for my 12-year old daughter and I) was just over $28 and that's a bit steep. But, if you want a variety of decent food at an OK price, you could do a lot worse than Regal Buffet. read more

My family and I went here after a long Saturday spent at Six Flags and it was very nice to unwind and enjoy a good meal. The food was very good and the place was very clean (including the restroom with was a plus). Wonderful customer service and they kept the food hot and fresh. The staff are all very friendly and they do have a very big variety of food, but too much of it was hit or miss for me to be back. Disgusting! Bit into a piece of Sesame chicken and it was pink and bloody. I cut into 2 other pieces and they were pink as well. I told the waiter who then got the manager. The manager insulted my intelligence by trying to explain that it wasn't white meat and that's why it was pink & bloody. I told him that I knew the difference between white and dark meat chicken and neither were supposed to be pink and oozing blood. We got up and left. Never had a bad meal there and since it is reasonably priced, a great place for taking guests. However, I never eat the American food, like mac and cheese. That is for the kids I think. Service is OK, and the variety is huge. The tables and chairs are not that comfortable. But I am not eating the table. Driving there can be tricky since it is located on the southbound lane of 35 and you need to go into the Sam's parking area and double back to the highway. I took a wheel chair bound friend and they quickly made an area for him to eat comfortably. There is a large selection of sushi. read more
