Andrew was super helpful and informed us about the Winter sale before it started! Then when we were there to browse during the sale, he was the only one who walked by and asked if we needed any assistance. Great service! The shop is always clean and tidy.

This is for the guy at REI who refused to sell me anything on May 28th when I asked for help and guidance to buy equipment to hike Mt Whitney on May 30th while there is snow on the mountain. He has a website dedicated to Mt Whitney, which he told me I should have read. I said, better yet, I've got you in person. Apparently, he didn't think I was capable. When I told him I'm an avid hiker, he said, "I've got a lot of experience unpacking boxes, but you don't see me delivering any babies." I didn't know whether to laugh or be offended. I ended up going to Elevation (https://sierraelevation.com/shopping) in Lone Pine the day before my hike. The guys there couldn't have been more helpful. Prices for the same gear were 30% cheaper too. In the end, it all worked out for me and I was able to have the amazing experience despite going to REI asking for their help.

I already had a impatient line waiting for a terrific fresh made coffee... couldn't have done it without Rei "Aaron"

As soon as I walked in, I was approached by a very friendly Rei employee his name "Aaron" Very helpful, very friendly, very knowledgeable very outgoing, very sincere and honest with his sales experience truly an asset to the REI team if he was Uber, I'd give him six stars ! I definitely recommend everyone to go visit this beautiful store in Arcadia and the friendly service run by the nice manager with the black bangs and Aaron and Jerry and the little cute Philippine girl behind the register will help me out excellent service

Popular clothing store for the person who enjoys the outdoors. Lots of gear from top brands like Arc'teryx, HOKA, Patagonia, etc. Knowledgeable staff who were very attentive and caring about any questions. Location is convenient with sufficient parking.

I'm a fan of the REI store and have everything I need for outdoors adventures, hiking, running, camping. The service is the best. They will help you in anything you need, you can ask any questions or concerns. It's pricey but you get a great quality for anything you need and the best you can return them if it doesn't work. Recommended to become a member so you can get discounts.

I would give it more stars but some of the staff there don't seem to want to be there, they seem nervous around customers.

How's their bike shop? I need to get a bike fitted and looking for a friendly and knowledgable to help a rookie. Thanks!

Jay - haven't had a bike fitted by REI, but several by Budget in Glendale and was happy there. Talk to the individual who will be helping you, and ask him about his experience - has he raced/participated in endurance rides? I'm sure someone at REI… Read more

For context, I'm an ebike rider. I've taken my bikes to hype and bougie shops alike in Los Angeles…read more I live in Temple City now and found this place after doing a quick Google search of the shops near me, but before I went in, I made sure to call and ask if they did ebike repairs, because sometimes you get turned away depending on the model you're trying to get serviced. I have a Snapcycle S1 and an Aniioki A8 Pro Max. The first is a pretty lightweight class 3 model that needed both tires looked at after getting horrible flats, and the latter is a 168 lb big boy that I wasn't sure they'd even want to deal with because of the size. I wanted to preemptively get tire liner in my Aniioki for as much ride security as possible, and I noticed not long after riding the bike that the front tire kept making this awful grinding sound, which I assumed was because I hadn't lined the brake pads up properly during assembly. Not only did the excellent staff here do everything I asked for, but they were patient and understanding when I had questions about anything, and finished exactly when they said they would. It's been months since they worked on the Snapcycle and my tires are great, and a few weeks after they finished with my Aniioki and it's still going as strong as ever with no more grinding noises! Like I said before, I've been to all kinds of bike shops, and this one is my absolute favorite. It definitely has a relaxed and welcoming mom and pop feel, which is great if you're looking for your very first bike or even curious about how to upgrade or repair what you already have. And most importantly, I've learned that the people here are honest and dependable. And add the obvious benefit that they'll service both traditional bicycles and ebikes. But of course, call in before you go to make sure. There's no doubt in my mind that they'll take care of your bicycles like they did with mine. You'll be happy you gave them your business.

Took the bike to Temple City Bike Shop and they were able to remove the old pedals and install the new ones, fix my loose front tire and fill both tires with air, all inside of 6 minutes. Final total? No charge. Looking forward to bringing my daughter's bike in for work in the near future (as a paying customer). This place is a true gem!
