Great big parking lot (although there are tons of pot holes). Easy access to Diego's food next door that they'll walk over while you're in the brewery (LOOOOVE Diego's!) It was too chilly today to sit outside but the outdoor seating area and new mural look like a fun place to hang out with the water view right there (chairs don't look too comfy though, eek). The taproom has funky decor with local business stickers, horror movie memorabilia, mini toy machines, arcade games, and comfy bar stool chairs and armchairs. It's bigger in here than I imagined it would be. I got the Toasted Coconut Porter (love that it has a toasted note, you don't see that a lot). The first few sips were yummy but then it had a medicinal / syrupy note to it after that which I wasn't crazy about. The music is fun - heavy alt/indie/rock/emo vibes and ties in to the overall vibe of the decor and branding, I could see it being offputting to some if that's not your taste and you got a particularly heavy/screamy song, so head's up there. I like the vibe and want to hang out here again, so I'd try it again, although the types of beer they make aren't especially my favorites. When I think of great breweries, the checklist usually consists of good beer, good service, great atmosphere, and some solid food to munch on; Rejects has all the above. The service is ALWAYS great, and the staff is a highlight here. The vibe is awesome, with some sweet arcade games and a store for some cool merch. Next door Diego's delivers their solid Mexican food. Then to top it off they have an excellent view looking out towards Easton Pond & Easton beach across the way. Def check this place out. read more

This is a hidden gem in the Newport area, off the normal Newport circuit but close enough to make the rounds. Also, a summer favorite in when the out door tables in use and the big doors are open. Friendly bartenders, Beer is good, lots of variety, and there plenty of food locally that you can grab a bite at. Right on the water (reservoir) with great sunsets. Word of caution... parking is difficult/limited when it's busy/nice out. My buddy parked across street once in back of Atlantic Grill/Elemental Skate in an empty parking lot on a Tuesday. Just as we were crossing street a maniacal blonde woman waving a dishtowel comes out of Atlantic Grill and starts screaming at us that we can't park there, saying she owns the lots. Recently visited on Monday for their trivia night and taco bar! I am more of a sour girly myself, but they didn't have any on tap that day. The bartender recommended the Mexican lager which was basically a lime sour - I say this in the best way possible! I ordered two over the course of trivia and they went perfectly with the taco bar provided by Diego's next door. The space was so cool, like 90s grunge meets a brewery. On a warmer day I might have ventured to the patio overlooking the water (not directly, there is a parking lot). Another plus, super dog friendly! We'll definitely be back ! read more

Interesting location outside of Newport, RI with even more interesting decor. The place seems to be in a basement of a larger building - not sure what is upstairs. Tried a few beers (the German hose sour, the cream ale, coastal access, and the light lager) they were all decent. Reject also works with the restaurant Nextdoor, Diego's, for delivery right to the brewery. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and they were set up for music. We didn't see a live band though. read more

Cool dog friendly brewery with awesome decor inside! This spot is pretty small but they have a nice outdoor patio in their back lot. Not a ton of choices for beer but I enjoyed their Gose. If you want to know where the locals go. Reject's is it. The place is very chill. They do all sorts of activities there. Karaoke, trivia, etc and even wrestling. The beer is solid. A tucked away brewery that plays very loud punk music. What can I say - i just can't do the loud music anymore. A wide assortment of brew and there is a water view. Oh, and some pinball machines! Visited this fun brewery twice this year. Rejects is part of the Diego's family of restaurants, so I knew it would be good. Combo'd both visits with trips to Diego's Cantina next door. Staff here is friendly and helpful. Check social media for the list of what's on tap. Vibe and a casual and low key. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Dog friendly. Arcade games. It's a perfect example of a Small batch brewery at it's BEST. Well arranged taproom with lounge are and a clean bar and brewing area. This Taproom had an appealing arrangement of decor, a knowledgeable bar staff and amazing Mexican food served by Diego's (mom and pop Mexican restaurant) right next door. The brewery had a dope merchandise (merch) shop on location with a wide array of wearable clothing and collectibles. read more

I love a good sour beer and Rejects Beer delivered. Came in on a Saturday afternoon. The sun was shining on the back patio overlooking the water. Formed in 2020 after more than a year of planning and construction, Rejects is 1880 foot garage. Fun music and cool decor. It features a retro counter culture vibe with funky merch and an 80's basement vibe. They are not a brew pub, but have seasonal outside vendors and offer to go. It was definitely a fun scene at Rejects Beer- right down to the little stickers on the bar. I will definitely be back this summer! Cheers! read more

I rolled up on this place because I had some time to kill. Glad I did. Upon entering, I was greeted by Dave, with whom I had unintentionally seen at Galactic Theater weeks prior. He was pouring hot sauce into a beer, so I asked him about it. He cheerfully explained it was Mexican beer and he was trying to get a Chelada vibe going, then offered me to try it. Actually wasn't bad. I tried the Mole Beer and I loved the subtle heat on the back end along with the chocolatey flavor and easy drinkable profile. I got along with the other people at the bar that chatted me up which was cool. Definitely will be checking this place out again some time soon! read more

Tiny new spot in the burgeoning Middletown beach community. They have a small fridge with product, but it's not shelved, messy display. Yet the swag and gear are set up very neatly. Odd for a new brewery to focus their efforts on swag instead of selling their beer... I know that beer is a very personal thing. For me, I was not a fan of any of their beers. I found them to be too thin and not particularly complex in their flavor. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few families there. The music choice was unacceptable! The cursing and the subject matter were not appropriate at all for the crowd.
