While this whole moving experience has been absolutely awful, I'm sure working directly with them would have been a much better experience. They are hard workers and upfront about extra costs. Do not believe anything Chris the salesman says. He's your buddy up until you sign the contract then he doesn't know you or even attempt to help you. Customer service is nonexistent. Do not pay cash. Pay by credit card. Make sure the manifest is 100% accurate and legible before they leave you home. When they deliver your items compared everything to the initial manifest. If som is either broken or missing either pay them with a credit card (where you can put a hold on payment) or check which you card also put on hold. I monitored the entire process and the movers were hustling the entire time. They took care to wrap items so that nothing was damaged. Once the truck was loaded, they took a short break and proceeded to my new location where they helped position all of the furniture where it needed to be. In addition, the guys were friendly and positive throughout the move. The price was definitely fair and I ended up giving a $100 tip because they worked so efficiently. The 2 movers assigned to me were Very angry when the person in the supervision role suggested a tip along with the percentage expected. We opted for another truck to meet the first truck, to distribute the weight. It was an extra cost, but reasonable, considering the issue at hand. These guys were efficient and quick. We apparently have a ton of stuff lol. They originally mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 hours to move everything into the truck, but in reality, it took approximately 5-6 hours. They were punctual and even got there five minutes before the agreed-upon time. I wasn't there when they brought in everything, but my husband said that they did an amazing job at putting the boxes where they were supposed to be, based on our labeled boxes.
