I always try and not over do it on the first pizza this is simply pepperoni sausage and bell peppers always a good choice
    Billy G.

This is the first time I got a pizza from here. I've had the calzones and they were fantastic and this pizza was great. Crust was actually cooked well and all the topping were fresh and delicious. The crew that works there are always helpful and know their food well and can help you make a decision. They have a few tables inside but it's Hawaii Kai so you can always sit by the water's edge and have one of the most beautiful back drops in Hawaii so inside or out it's awesome. Parking is free and it's a big lot so there's always parking.

    Pepperoni calzone

Came to Repetti's on a Friday evening for dinner. There's lots of parking in the lot, and we were even able to catch a beautiful sunset. There's a few tables inside and more seating outside. I got the calzone with pepperoni and the blackened ahi Caesar salad. The calzones here are definitely a must! I love the different cheeses they use as they complement each other really well. The calzone was crispy and not super doughy which I liked. I would probably pass on the Caesar salad next time though. The dressing was watery and the fish was dry. The service here was exceptional. My friend brought her dog, and the workers brought out a water bowl and kept checking up on us. Overall, pretty decent spot for dinner and the ambiance is nice. I would come back just for their calzone.

    The carnivore and the grandmas

We ordered the carnivore and the grandmas, both were great! My son is a pizza snob and he gave me a thumbs up for both and that is saying something. Service was great.

Cute little shop with a few tables inside and outside the restaurant. Super friendly staff! Food came out swiftly and sizzling. We tried the grandmas pizza. It would be so much tastier with some jalapeños. I felt the pizza was slightly light in flavor from the alfredo sauce. The restaurant is located in a plaza with Safeway and other stores. Parking was easy to find during dinner time. I liked that they offered bread with sauce as appetizers. Nice touch!

Our first visit to this business was in February 2023 to celebrate a fellow Elite's birthday. Still, I can't believe I didn't write a review, since we had so much fun meeting fellow Yelpers, eating great-tasting pizzas, and experiencing outstanding dine-in service. Thankfully, since that visit, my husband and I have ended our showdown between thick-crust and thin-crust pizzas. In the past, I have preferred eating the comforting, thick-crust pizzas from Chicago or Detroit with "everything but the kitchen sink" toppings. However, my husband, who doesn't care for tomato-sauce-based pizza, prefers the lighter, thin-crust pizza more synonymous with Neapolitan-style. I was impressed by their Jersey-style's perfect thin, crunchy, and crisp crust and fresh flavors of the quality toppings, which remind me of dining at a favorite Neapolitan pizzeria in Los Angeles. However, since we're hardly in the Hawai'i Kai neighborhood, Repetti's Pizza has remained in my taste memories. After my medical appointment at the Straub Benioff Medical Center - Hawai'i Kai Clinic, which concluded around lunchtime, my husband and I drove to the Hawai'i Kai Shopping Center on Keahole Street and walked into Repetti's. At first, we thought of ordering a couple of slices to go, but the female server was so welcoming that she convinced us to dine in. I remembered getting a Grandma's white pizza, or pizza bianca, during our first visit, so I suggested we try the Repetti's Special or the supreme pizza. The huge Repetti's Special $31 pizza was topped with pepperoni, peppers, sausage, onions, cheese, and mushrooms, all atop a smear of tomato sauce. The pizza was pre-cut into eight slices and delivered to our table piping hot. We like that the thin crust doesn't get soggy even when covered with sauce, meat, and vegetable toppings. Although there isn't a correct way to eat pizza, I managed to pick it up by hand and fold it in half, noticing that none of the toppings were sliding off. My husband, on the other hand, didn't wait the few minutes I did before picking his slice, and used a fork and knife to dig into it. We could only eat two slices each and took home the other half of the pizza, which, by the way, reheated well in our toaster oven. We didn't have too long a wait for our pizza, and during that time, the female server was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I couldn't help but compliment the pizza maker in the kitchen on Repetti's thin-crust perfection and on how the toppings didn't make the pizza soggy. We shouldn't wait another two years before returning to Repetti's Pizza and Provisions.

    Fried calamari

My colleagues that live in the east side have recommended Repetti's so I wanted to try it on I day I was craving pasta. They don't take reservations and are walk in only. We came on a Friday at 6pm and were promptly seated. Had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. It was a nice day, so we opted for outdoor. There are outdoor tables with umbrellas. Ample parking in the shared lot. They are near Safeway and Longs. Focaccia bread with Marinara comes with your meal. It was Friday pau hana time, so I enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. We got the fried calamari. It came out super quick. Great taste and batter with Marinara dipping sauce. I got the spaghetti with white clam sauce. It had capers and lemon, probably in a butter white wine sauce. Generous amounts of clams. My partner got the ravioli that came in a red sauce. Both pastas had a good consistency. I wasn't sure if they made their pastas in house. Our entrees came with a side salad. We choose Ceasar. It was okay. Dressing a little runny. As we were finishing dinner, all tables inside and out were full house. Our hostess, server, and food runner were attentive and helpful.

Stopped by here to grab dinner since we didn't want to wait in line for food at Waikiki and was pleasantly surprised how delicious this place was. The bean with broccolini appetizer came out nice and warm with each bite seasoned to perfection. The salad was plentiful and it was nice that they let us build our own and also split the pizza topping in half so that we could try multiple toppings on one pizza. The staff was super friendly and attentive to filling our waters and checking in on us. We ate outside and it was nice and cozy with good seating options inside and out.

The to die for bread with dipping sauce
    Lloyd W.

Was in Hawai Kai and was recommended to try this place for lunch. Italian food is something I can handle. They have limited indoor and more outdoor seating. Of course the indoor seating is air condition and nicely cooled with view of the kitchen. Outside has tables that seats four with an umbrella. Service was fast and friendly. Water service at seating and the bread, which is to die for, was hot, soft and flavorful with a tomato base dipping sauce. I ordered the white clam spaghetti which comes with a side salad with a choice of dressing. The clam sauce is not what I was use too. It was a little tart for me. Clams was chopped and tough. Ran into the person that recommended this place and told me it is kinda tart from what they are use too also. My lunch partner ordered the blackened mshi salad. The fish was surely blackened but nicely cooked with roman lettuce. The dressing was light and not salty like we are use to. It doesn't come with parmesan cheese. But, you can sprinkle it at the table. Pros: the bead was great. I would just order the bread. They have a wine list if you like to have wine with your meal. Cons: My clam spaghetti sauce was tangy for me. I would like some anchovies in the salad dressing to give it some saltiness and/or some body to the dressing. Would I go back? Always give anything a second try.

Really fantastic high quality made to order food. The food was truly delicious and most definitely was made fresh. The prices are also very good for the portion size. Each entree comes with focaccia and salad. I had excellent service and there was ample seating. Outstanding establishment

The fresh bread was served nice and hot with butter or vinegar and oil. I usually just use butter but decided to try the vinegar and oil. That was a really good decision on my part. It was really good. I was surprised. For those of you who have had it before know what I'm talking about. It was like a light grape jelly. The bread with the oil and vinegar was so good i got another loaf. Yum. We decided to get the clams casino for our appetizer. That was winners. It was really delicious. Fresh Manila clams in a broth of butter, white wine, bacon, fresh spinach, mushroom, onions, and tomato. That's from the menu. All I know is that all of that put together was really ono. I wish I still had some more bread to soak up the sauce. Lol She chose the shrimp and scallop scampi. I chose the shrimp and scallop alla spinach. The shrimp and scallops were served with fresh spinach, bacon and mushrooms in a garlic butter white wine sauce. It was so delicious. I know i wanna go back again. For dessert we were going to split a mud pie but unfortunately they were out. Sigh. Well three for three is pretty good. Well not pretty good. It was really great. Lately I've been dining on soups like pho and ramen, lamb curry stews, and snacking on real fruit smoothies, and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I didn't realize I had this burning desire until I saw the foodie pics here on Yelp. It was then that I seriously wondered how I could inject a little more variety into my foodie repertoire. I saw this restaurant listed on Yelp and immediately thought, Ooh, what about Italian??? :D Myself replied: Mmm, that sounds tantalizing, Jules Y.! :D After perusing the menu to make sure I wasn't gonna miss out on a thing, it only took a few seconds for me to hone in on the two items I ultimately ordered: * 16" Florentine pizza (gigante) * Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added mushrooms I added mushrooms to the gnocchi dish, which was a fantastic decision I would not want to go without on future dines of this dish. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.

Located in China town, you have the normal issues of finding parking. The location is not large and is split into indoor and outdoor seating areas. We got seated right away and the staff was very friendly. The food is an Italian - Asian fusion. We started with the Hokkaido milk rolls and prosciutto san daniele. The bread was good but that black garlic butter made it even better. But for me the prosciutto was the highlight and should not be skipped. Mixed with the pickles in that sesame shell, it was so delicious. For mains we got the gnocchi and capellini. The beef cheek in the gnocchi was so flavorful and soft. And we finished up with the carrot cake. Everything we ate was good. I definitely want to come back again.

It was loud in there but not too distracting, more so like friends gathering together and having a great time. (4/5) Food: Was really excited to try this asian fusion menu as the Dan Mien Vietnam-Atriciana with lap xuong caught my eye but truthfully - it was underwhelming. The Hokkaido milk rolls were also disappointing which was a bummer since everyone seemed to rave about them. They weren't warm at all and didn't seem fresh, which seemed to be the trend for the other dishes as well since they weren't served hot and pretty much room temperature at best. (2/5) Service: This is where I would give it a 0/5 stars if I could. I've never been to a restaurant where customers aren't greeted as soon as they walk in or at least within 5 minutes of walking into the restaurant. We arrived 15mins early to our reservation and upon stepping in immediately noticed no host stand/designated area to check-in (granted the restaurant itself was pretty small inside so understandable) we therefore waited off to the side. Countless waitresses walked by and even the bartenders noticed us waiting off to the side yet we weren't acknowledged. Not even a quick "we'll be right with you or welcome in". After standing there huddled off to the side we decided to maybe walk further into the restaurant to see if we had to check-in somewhere else and ran into someone that seemed to be the host. She asked if she could help us and we said we hadn't been checked-in yet for our reservation. After getting our info she quickly told us to go back to the front of the restaurant. No indication of how much longer we had to wait, no okay you're all checked-in we'll get your table set up now...just "okay go back and wait in the front". Over the next 10 minutes of waiting in the front of the restaurant we were met with whispers and stares from the employees giving us the feeling of being the new student on the first day of school which left us uncomfortable to the point where we decided to wait outside. Eventually she took us to our table but you could tell she was standoffish the whole time as if we had done something wrong. Our waiter was nice but not that personable and throughout the meal we were probably checked on once or twice at most. Overall: A restaurant is only as good as its service. To me, great food brings customers in but great service brings them back and unfortunately I will not be back.
