This review is for Alberto at Repipe 1. We had our house repiped by Repipe 1 and he came over after the job was done to fix a few things here and there. I remember him being super friendly and excellent at explaining things. Well, a few days ago, someone checked our water pressure and got a super high reading (130) and recommended that I contact Repipe 1 right away since they were the ones that installed the new pressure regulator valve when they did the repipe. Alberto showed up to check on the issue and he was right on time and as friendly as before. He immediately got a normal reading on his pressure gauge, but just to be sure, he checked the pressure with my gauge *and* he took four more pressure gauges out of his truck (including a new one that was still in its packaging) and checked them all as well! Being proactive, I repiped my house before any of the old pipes began leaking and had plenty of time to shop around. After considering several companies, I chose Repipe1 and am very happy with the result. I don't write many reviews, but this company absolutely deserves 5 stars. I called Repipe1 about a month ago on a Monday. They sent out an estimator at 9am on Tuesday (arrived promptly on time!). After working out a more than reasonable price, I was pleasantly surprised that they could start the very next day. Their 12 man crew arrived Wednesday at 7:30am and were gone by 3pm. Re-piped my entire house plus added several new lines for my remodel. They covered all work areas in plastic and actually left the place cleaner than when they started! They came back a couple of days later (after city inspector) and patched everything inside and out perfectly. As a proud homeowner and small business owner, I expect quality work, great customer service and the project completed on time. Repipe1 went above and beyond. Would highly recommend Repipe 1 to anyone looking for a full home re-pipe. Amazing that they could finish the entire 2400 square-foot house and have Paul water functionality restored within one working day. And following city inspection, all the patching was finished within the next couple days. All crew members were all employees of Repipe 1, no subcontractors, and all very professional. Only thing making this less than a perfect five star review are a couple minor inconveniences. There were two revisits required, due to some details needing further attention. Had Repipe1 out a few months ago to repipe my whole house after a third pinhole leak. They were easy to work with and straightforward with pricing and timeline. From start to finish this project went off without a hitch. While the sales guy was a little "salesy", he nevertheless gave us a great overview of the entire process, the guarantees behind their work and materials, and a good explanation of how everything would be done. While 3 different people came out (including the sales guy first) to determine how the project was going to be handled as far as opening walls, on this point they obviously weren't communicating as everyone had a different perspective and it was obviously not shared among them to reach a general consensus. When they did come out to the work they obviously knew what they were doing, and the entire job was finished by 2 pm. By the next morning the rough inspection was passed-on a Friday. Monday they came out to do the drywall, and the team, very friendly like the piping team, did an excellent job and finished up by 5. Next morning the inspector was scheduled to come out and signed off. The office obviously runs this place like a well oiled machine and did a great job. I just wanna take a quick second to thanks Sean and the whole Repipe 1 team. I was referred to them by my local plumber Luke. Because of the age of my pipes and not being able to replace my vanities due to old steel pipes corroding I had one major leak last year and this year when I try to replace my vanities, we ended up causing a pretty bad leak that couldn't be repaired. I was extremely nervous Because we just redid our bathrooms in kitchen, and I was terrified that everything would have to be ripped out, but I was wrong! Sean did an amazing job explaining to me in full detail about the materials the warranties and gave me peace of mind that I will not have to worry about these issues. Going forward after re-piping. After experiencing a pinhole leak, which ruined our floor, we decided to pull the trigger and do the repipe with PEX. After reading the reviews, we followed the advice and contacted Repipe1. We worked with Delilah for consultation and contract, she was very professional and thorough in the explanation of the process. Patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. On the scheduled day the repipe crew of 6 people arrived on time, extremely efficient and professional. All pipe replacement work was done in a single day for 3200 sq.ft. house. The team did a great job of covering the floor and furniture and cleaning up after themselves. We also decided to change shower valves during the process and Repipe1 was accommodative to allow us to order new valves and send a technician on another day to finish the replacement. Alberto Vasquez, their supervisor, completed the valves and trim installation as well as moved the recessed laundry box is a superb plumber professional, who loves his craft. Alberto installed the fixtures and bathrooms look new and attractive again. The final step was drywall patching. I couldn't believe that ~50 holes can be patched in a single day. We had the team of 5 working so efficiently, they finished just after 3pm. The patching for drywall and stucco came out very well, a way better than I expected - texture matched very well. We had a complete repipe done. The good: 1) Carla in the office was great scheduling and confirming appointments, and 2) The plumbers who came for the repipe were excellent. BUT, the bad: 1) Salesman, Sean, was convincing and charming. He said in order to get the special, I had to call him by that evening. He gave the impression that he would take care of everything. When I called that evening and got his voice mail, I was sure he would put in the order and call me back. He never did. And by Monday when I called the office, it was already too late for the next day, which is what Sean said was available. Frustrating! But then Carla magically fixed it and they did end up coming the next day. I never heard from Sean again, and 2) The patching and texturing guys got texture everywhere!! It was all over faucets, toilet lids, appliances, floors, everything!! I have attached a photo as an example of their carelessness. It took days to repaint and to clean the texture off of everything. Fortunately, when the company found out about this problem they reimbursed me for cleaning costs and they assured me that the patching/texture team would be re-trained to prevent so much of a mess. I will recommend them now but I have learned that whomever you pick will likely necessitate whole wall and ceiling painting, so don't believe them if they say the painting needed will be minimal. read more
