I've been to this bar a few times with a small group of friends. I've also been for some of their listening parties for Whitney Houston, Usher, etc. which are always fun. The servers are true winos and can guide you to the right glass. The owner is typically at the bar when I come and is a very pleasant guy. I like that they let you select what goes on your charcuterie board so you can experiment with flavors. They serve port wines too! My only complaint is that they don't serve wine flights. I recommend this spot as a pretty dinner meetup with a friend or two (it can be loud sometimes) or a date night.

I've been coming here for years now, but this is my first time leaving a review. Revel is a great space to try new wines and catch up with a friend, attend a wine tasting or blind-tasting event, or listen to live music. I enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender/server about the wines they have. I can always find a wide variety of wines and something I've never tasted before. The environment is welcoming with a touch of sophistication (although the dress can be very casual). I typically only come for the wine, but the cheese/charcuterie options are unique and tasty if you want something to snack on. Oh and if you go on Tapas Tuesdays, you get a free tapa with every glass of wine!

We were in town for a couple of days and looking for a quiet spot for a drink and discovered REVEL. located just off 4th street this cozy wine bar has an interesting selection of wines by the glass as well as a build your own charcuterie menu. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of a sparkling white burgundy and my wife savored the French Rhône. The charcuterie menu allows you to mix and match cheese, meat and other items and was very reasonably priced and was just what we needed food-wise. While service was a bit on the leisurely side of things, we were in no hurry and the three folks working seemed to be doing their best. A great little spot.

The wine selection here is always nothing short of impressive. After a long and hot 103 degree day yesterday, the Elk Cove Pinot Blanc was the perfect way to start off our evening. Revel is such a cool local find- where style and community converge. Everyone is approachable and knowledgable about all things wine. Make this your new summer hang!

Quite the selection of wine. Atmosphere is beautiful. Classic, small and quiet. Great spot for enjoying a book and wine or enjoying an evening with a friend. Take your pick. Music was played at a perfect level for conversation and savoring your wine. Not a large selection of food. You have a handful of options to make a charcuterie board. Everything I had chosen was delicious. Bread that was brought out had a great crust and soft in center. Wish there was some butter to top it.

Tried a few glasses of wine while in Tucson. The service was pretty good. I was surprised to see we were the only people in their. It's a very nice set up with a long bar area and tables along the wall. They had a nice selection of red and white wines as well as port wine. I forgot to ask if they serve food. I didn't see it on the menu ? Finding parking wasn't easy but we look forward to trying this place again when we visit Tucson.

This place is adorable. Local art on the wall and fresh meats and cheeses. The wine selection rotates and is delicious.

Absolutely love to Gabby our server she was so friendly and nice and made an excellent recommendation based on what I like. Accidentally found this place from a sandwich board. A quiet Place for the owner is hanging around and can answer any questions. Also plays excellent air guitar.

Always a lovely, classy time at Revel. I'd recommend the Burrata if you're looking for a nice bite to eat with your wine.

The owner, Todd, was very friendly, along with the rest of the staff, and took time to talk to all the customers.

My first impression is the outdoor-friendly design, with a bar that is half al fresco and the other half inside. Shutters can close the al fresco section out during inclement weather. It was a quiet evening, with a few diehard clients at the bar. I walked in, studied the rotating menu, and settled for the one wheat beer on the list: #18 Enegren Schoener Tag Hefeweizen (5%ABV) from Moorpark, CA. It was quite flavorful with good mouth feel. I sat al fresco at the bar looking in. I enjoyed the ambiance. The inside is designed for groups to sit together and talk while sampling beer or wine. Four TVs were on the wall as an afterthought. The beertender was busy cleaning equipment before closing, but he explained to me that while the beer list rotates, the first five are staples, dominated by sours and IPAs although several lagers are also available. There is plenty of parking in the rear although I noticed that lighting is only toward the strip mall. The rear spaces are dark. I asked about dogs. Only service dogs are allowed.

I'm just not a fan of 99 % of nonalcoholic beers, there is something off with the taste and I just don't like them. The ambience is good it's a good place to hang with the outside patio and the inside is a decent size. I'll definitely go back.

We were able to sit by the turtle and fish pond, so we had a perfect location. To order the food, you need to go inside to the bar and place your order. When it is ready, you go to another location to pick up your food. There are servers, but mostly to take drink orders. The food was presented beautifully and this place seems to be tailor-made for Instagram. The food was solid, but honestly it wasn't as spectacular tasting as it was great-looking. Also, it is curious that there is tipping expected (pay when ordering at the bar), but no one takes your order and you pick up your own food. To me, that's a one-star deduction. If it's self service, I don't think tipping should be expected. In terms of atmosphere and food presentation, I give this five stars. In terms of taste, it rates 3 1/2 stars. In terms of service, well, it's not bad service, it's no service.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We'd heard good things about this place and have been trying to support local downtown bars this summer, so we stopped in around 11 on a Friday night before heading home. As we sat down, we watched the bartender be pretty dismissive toward another group at the bar, so we were already a little unsure. We started talking about the decor because we liked the eclectic vibe. We jokingly pointed out that one of the pictures had a joint instead of a cigarette because someone in our group hadn't noticed. One of the bartender's first comments back, completely seriously, was, "I'm from San Diego. Have you never seen art before?" Honestly... what? It was such a weird, unnecessarily condescending response. I brushed it off at first as awkward banter, but it was a really strange first impression. The drinks were decent. The Loverlist was really good, and the Unicorn Fluff and Old Fashioned were fine. The bartender was quick to talk up their whiskey selection, but when we asked for a recommendation, she mostly gave reasons why she couldn't recommend anything and just kept saying they had "over 90 different options." Without a whiskey menu to look through, that wasn't especially helpful. We also asked for a shooter and were offered half of a cocktail instead. That would've been totally fine on its own, but combined with everything else, the service just never felt welcoming. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I'd give the place another shot because the atmosphere is fun and has a lot of potential, but hopefully with a different bartender behind the bar.
