Darrin was our bartender at the Revival tonight. He did the art of mixology which is a complementary hands-on- cocktail making experience. 21+ and older and was great! Thank you! Enjoy your experience in Sacramento! Xo

A glass of ice What they call a drink this is before I even took one sip out of the drink

Went to Revival hoping for a solid craft cocktail, big mistake. Sat at the bar and ordered a Crystal Plumed Bird and Shishito Peppers off their Golden Hour menu. I stay at the hotel pretty often, but because of the poor reviews and a menu that never looks that appealing, I usually stay away. Decided to give it a shot, big mistake! When my drink came out, it looked like a snow cone a glass completely packed with ice and maybe one ounce of liquor. Two sips, gone. I asked the bartender if they do smaller pours for happy hour, and she just shrugged and said, "No, that's the way it is," with zero effort or attitude that said she cared. Meanwhile, the bartenders one of them name started with T were too busy gossiping about customers from the night before instead of actually paying attention to the people sitting in front of them. Super unprofessional. And to top it all off, the Golden Hour drink that should've been $12 was charged at the full $16. Between the smallest drink I've ever been served, bad service, and being overcharged this place has completely gone downhill. Won't be coming back.

Revival is one of few rooftop bars in Sacramento, and it's a fun spot to enjoy a casual happy hour! I recently stopped by for Sunset Sips and had a reservation, although I don't think it's needed during the slower summer season. Our server was very pleasant, and when I asked about the Sunset Sips series, she was able to give me the run down. I wish that Revival carried a print menu since that would've helped with the promotion. I ended up ordering the "Penthouse and Prosper", which is Revival's take on a "Millionaire Margarita." It was so good, well balanced, and only $9! Besides the Sunset Sips series, Revival also has a "Golden Hour" menu, which we ordered a couple more drinks and food off of. I'd recommend passing on the food, but think the drink deals are a steal considering standard prices. Overall, fun spot to enjoy a well crafted cocktail and unbeatable views of DOCO!

Total vibe! Drinks were amazing! DJ was playing some throwbacks and the whole place was a vibe! Minus 1 star because our server was swamped not her fault she was great but they really need more help on a busy Saturday night.

We were excited to head to Revival to celebrate a birthday tonight. We made a reservation online for 4pm for an outdoor spot. We arrived right as they opened at 4pm and were the first guests in. They informed us there was no outdoor seating until 7pm, which was one of my main reasons we chose this spot. We were seated inside which was still beautiful and comfortable. We ordered within the first five minutes, still the only people to have ordered and our drinks took 32 minutes to come out. The manager noticed, and told us they were on their way. But a little too late. We ordered three cocktails and a glass of wine, they were out of the first two wines I requested. After the long delay they did give a generous wine pour. Two of the three cocktails were really good, the third was very bad and was almost untouched. We saw our server twice - to take our order and give us the bill. Someone else delivered our drinks. All in all bad service. The manager tried, but didn't make enough of an effort to make up for the experience. We visit the Kimpton where we live often and were excited to try this but it was a huge miss. Very disappointing.

This is my second time coming to Revival, but first time trying their food and drinks. Revival is located inside the Sawyer Hotel which is across from Golden 1. The views are so nice, being a rooftop bar, but also having an indoor area. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake as well as the White Velvet drink. The White Velet had coding blanco, coconut, lime juice, pomegranate, and cointreau. I was not the biggest fan of the taste of the drink, although I always appreciate drinks with pebble ice. The chocolate cake was okay, however, the service was very slow, and for the price, I expected the slice to be a little bigger. I would recommend Revival just for the great views.

This the drink I wanted lol

I seen revival on TikTok & did a quick yelp & decided to come for these nice drinks I saw on yelp. Me & my friend came and waited patiently for our turn at the bar, and I kid you not I've been to MANY bars & it was even as BUSY & our bartender was so RUDE. I never am to give someone a hard time but I was reading the menu & showed him a picture of the drink I saw (that I will attach) & asked him by chance I seen this drink on yelp would you by chance be able to make this one? & he says NOPE I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS with such a attitude, I'm like ?? Hmm okay would you be able to make me something pretty like this?? IDK maybe a cute margarita and he's so passive aggressively rude I wasn't gonna start we just ended up ordering whatever and took our drink and went to the fire bc I wasn't going to let him ruin our night. But my gosh ... anyways the pool & the heater with the view deserves 5 stars .

"I am a Latino American, and I visited the restaurant with my younger cousin. The waitress requested that a card be kept on file. I informed her that we would be paying in cash and offered to still provide a card if needed. The waitress then proceeded to request that she retain my cousin's personal California driver's license. I have dined here many times and have never experienced this type of issue. When I inquired with the manager, Tony, he stated that it was a form of 'collateral.' I then asked another staff member, Pete, whether this was a normal procedure, and he stated that he was 'not aware of such a protocol.' Following this interaction, the manager's demeanor became hostile. Due to the situation, I requested that our order be canceled and returned. Despite this request, the manager insisted that we still pay for the burger even though we had already asked to cancel the order. This experience was concerning and unprofessional. I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)."

I've been to the Revival for lunch and dinner (happy hours, birthdays, etc) and have always had an amazing time. This time we stopped in for happy hour before going to dinner and it was perfect. We ordered a few appetizers and cocktails. What a perfect evening and pleasant atmosphere always.

The girls and I came here for the roof top bar and had a blast. I had the wedge salad with chicken, lobster roll and a glass of prosecco. We also had a plate of fries that were not a full plate. The manager addressed the fries which made it better. Great atmosphere and nice staff we'll come back soon.

We got here right at 4 pm when they open and they were immediately getting busy. It's a great chill place to grab drinks and have a snack or two. It's within Kimpton hotel so you can park in the DOCO parking garage which is very convenient. It did take some time for our drinks to come out but the staff were nice. I do love the ambience inside, modern but laid back. Would come back for happy hour!

Where do i even start. Revival has a delicious menu and offer weekly specials such as my favorites, Taco tuesday or all the weekend vibes with a live DJ! If you thought that was the best part, wait until you see the Sacramento Kings light the beam from Revival's rooftop bar! Revival just has it all from Amazing service, Delicous food and allllll the vibes!

    Yes, after 6pm.

It was $20 on the Friday I was there. I would assume the same for Saturdays.

Is the club open every Friday and Saturdays?

    Yes, it is

There is not a designated dance floor per say but when it isn't too busy I've seen people gather near the entrance area by the DJ and dance (I've personally done it too). Otherwise people just dance wherever they stand/sit.

    Is there any age limit?

There is no age limit. It's pretty family oriented.

Can you swim in the pool if you buy drinks at the bar?

Travis mixed up what could very well have been the best Old Fashioned we've ever had. It's not my preferred cocktail, but if more were like this one, that may be another story. I opted for the Kumquat Kiss, which was delicious and different. Besides that Old Fashioned, the Hash Brown Lyonnaise really stole the show. Pillow-light hash brown sticks (how did they do that?!) with a scrumptious onion dip with crispy shallots and finely chopped chives. This is one of my top happy hour dishes of the year. Just wow! Try it yourself and tell me you don't agree. The Grilled Prawns missed the mark for me a bit, although the husband liked them. Tasty, but just not as much of a star as the other dish. Only suggestion is to have a happy hour menu for bites as well as beverages, as is found on the website. This would help avoid the need for staff to present a dinner menu (which admittedly, I was confused by) and acknowledge that the first course options are all available but at no happy hour discount (which felt a bit awkward for all involved). Overall, a delightful discovery!

The manager also interacted with me and told me that just last night, the place had some popular DJ and packed the place in. He showed me a video of what the scene looked like and all I can say is wow (in a good way). The best way I think I could describe this spot would be a more intimate Las Vegas night club on the strip while not compromising the quality of cocktails and providing a multi-sensory experience of lights, sounds and energy. I left when things started to get busy but I am confident in saying that you won't be disappointed and feel like you got your money's worth for sure.... especially when they will be having events there. If you get there shortly after it opens, I think you can count on more of a lounge sort of vibe. When it starts getting later or there's a DJ spinning (especially a well known one), then the place turns into an upscale nightclub. Circling back to my experience, I tried their "Plot Twist" cocktail which consists of things like bourbon, lemon, honey, fig jam and walnut and it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Nicely balanced, smooth, inviting and little to no bite. Just a damn good cocktail that I really enjoyed. There were three bartenders there which were Karla (who made my drink), Ian (who made my second drink that I can't remember what the name was), and Danny. They were all really nice, fun and outgoing bartenders that made me feel welcomed while also maintaining a fun demeanor. I asked if it was ok with them to take their pic since some people don't like that and they were cool with it. The bar seats being a little small were surprisingly comfy and tested out the lounge seating which is also comfy and provides perfect views of everything going on (in case you ever want to reserve a spot). There is no bad seat in the house, the music system is very clear with high end audio, and overall you can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put into this place by people who know what they are doing. A couple of other things to note is that the menu they have on their counter does not display all of the cocktails. There are more on their website which you can look up by going onto their website. When they are in their busy hours, you can reserve spots and get bottle and I think that if you know it's going to be a busy night, it will be worth it to do with a group. There will probably be a door charge later in the night so be prepared for that, however I did see on their website that they do have a guestlist so take advantage of that! They do have a dress code so when in doubt, just dress to impress and you should have no trouble getting in. The average cocktail is around $15 and think it's reasonable for the kind of cocktail you will be able to get. Archive is open on certain days so be sure to double check that they are open before going. Ultimately, if you haven't been yet, this is one place you should definitely check out at least once. If you're more into the lounge vibe, get there early. If you're more into the clubbing vibe, get there a little later or check out their events for the ultimate experience. I will definitely be back and this place is raising the bar on K Street and whole area. Oh yeah, and lastly, they do accept tap to pay including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay as well as credit/debit cards and cash. Thanks for the great time guys!
