This is my absolute favorite Chinese food place. I have looked everywhere for another good place closer to home but I cannot find one. I love the chow main here. The creamy shrimp is delicious and filling. The teriyaki chicken is always crispy and perfect. The beef broccoli is perfect and not just fatty tasting like others. The cream cheese wantons are my favorite. Best I've had anywhere. Has more than a pin drop of cream cheese filling. I absolutely crave this place every time I'm in Covina. I don't think I've ever seen more than 3 people working there but they are fast and friendly. I have never received bad service here and I have been coming here for years. I just don't like any other Chinese food place. There are a lot of tables inside and a restroom I have never used. This place is my guilty pleasure and I will continue to come to this place to fulfill my cravings. So delicious.

Decided to try this place because I needed something cheap and fast. The portion size is large, I was excited about that because it was shared amongst two people. But the service was not great and the food taste was average. The bbq pork was what I was looking forward to trying. The taste was good but there was a quite a bit of fat I had to pick out. The orange chicken was your typical Panda Express type. The fried rice was the oddest tasting fried rice I've ever had. It tasted like regular American rice that was color dyed to look the color of fried rice with sparse eggs and peas in it. I tried to give it a chance and ate three bites before I couldn't eat anymore of it. The noodles were decent, but a little on the bland side.

Picked up a 2 item combo with orange chicken and kung pao chicken with a side of chow mein and fried rice. The food was fresh. The orange chicken was on point. The kung pao tasted good but not spicy as it should be. Chow mein was good, but the fried rice was missing flavor. Good service overall, and if you want to get full, go here. I got full halfway. The difference between Panda Express and the mom and pop owned spots like this is the quantity. The quality is not bad either. They pack the heck out of that to-go container. This is the way it is meant to be. Worth the try!

Rice express has been a stable in the neighborhood for years. It is a great place for yummy chinese food! I ate there yesterday and glad to know that they are bringing back buy 5 get 1 free drink and buy 10 get 1 free combo. Love some great saving!

    Two item combo.

Prutty run of the mill fast food chinesse place. Nothing really too tasty but nothing too bad either. Just mediocre at best.

There is a QR code that you can scan which will give you the digital menu which you can order off of right away without having to wait for the waiter. If you're not sure on what to order the menu tells you what is their popular dishes to help give you an idea of what's good. We order the marinated cucumber salad, Shanghai spicy shrimp and pork wontons, pan fried pork dumplings, pork xiao long bao, and the beef tenderloin udon with black pepper. My favorites were the Shanghai spicy shrimp and pork wontons and the beef tenderloin udon with black pepper. Both are considered spicy dishes but I have a weak spicy tolerance and I did not think that they were spicy at all! The pan fried dumpling skirt was crispy and instantly melts in your mouth. The xiao long baos have a small amount of soup within and the cucumber salad was so refreshing. The food comes out quick! The staff work quick to ensure you get all of your food fast. This place is one of my favorite spots to grab some dumplings. Highly recommend!

The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland. Instead, they throw in a ton of minced garlic and especially minced ginger, which completely overpowers the dish. It doesn't taste anything like it used to. The service has also gotten worse. I asked an employee in Spanish if I could have a straw. She acted like she didn't understand me, so I asked again in English, and she still said she didn't understand. I just said never mind. But a few minutes later, my aunt asked the same employee in Spanish for more water, and suddenly she understood perfectly. That honestly left me confused. The employees also come off as rude and unfriendly. Then, when it's time to pay, they practically shove the tablet in your face while standing there watching you. We were a party of four, yet there was a $16 gratuity added, and on top of that they asked us how much extra tip we wanted to leave. It feels like you're being pressured into tipping twice instead of it being your choice. It's honestly sad because this place used to be so good. I've noticed fewer people eating there lately, and if the food quality and customer service keep getting worse, I can see why. I hope management takes this seriously and brings Thumbling back to what it used to be.

Super solid spot for a family dinner!…read more We ordered a massive spread from here and honestly, everything was really good. The kung pao chicken had a great savory flavor with just the right amount of kick and a good crunch from the peanuts, while the orange chicken had a really good, tangy sweet glaze to it. Just a heads-up if you like it super crunchy, their version is definitely on the softer, saucier side (which I prefer), but the flavor is spot on. The minced chicken lettuce wraps were fresh and super flavorful, and the egg drop soup was pure comfort in a bowl and came out piping hot. The absolute standout was definitely the deep fried fish fillet. The batter was super light and airy, and the fish inside was perfectly flaky and tender. We paired it all with the vegetable lo mein, which was loaded with veggies and the noodles weren't mushy at all, which is always a win. Portions are good, everything feels fresh, and it definitely hits the spot. We have been dining here for years and will continue to do so!
