    Shrimp .. not deveined
    LeShea B.

Feb 2024 Pros: Large portions Friendly staff Fast service Nicely priced. $21.63 for 2 spicy shrimp fried rice. Parking was a tight squeeze & there was construction. It's a tiny hole in the wall type of spot. I almost missed it driving by. It's off a one-way street (not sure if construction will change that). Food was done in less than 10 minutes. I didn't expect for the shrimp to be deveined here but just wanted to add that to the review. The shrimp fried rice wasn't spicy but I didn't eat the peppers that were in it. I thought the spice would be a sauce that the rice was coated in. It came with something to pour over the rice in a small container (pictured). The food wasn't good. I wanted some kind of salt and pepper. Soy sauce helped a little. The rice was hard. The shrimp wasn't seasoned. I wouldn't return.

I'm upset that their menu says $6 and change, but was charged $12. Perhaps because I asked for fried vegetable rice instead of plain? They're taste is so so. I've had better Chinese food. Came out hot and fresh, nice people behind the counter. All the tables are taped up, so carry out only. Had the General Taos.

    General Tso's Chicken

Customer service was okay.... straight to the point. Combination fried rice was not good, lacked flavor and rice was crunchy because it was not cooked all the way. General Tso's chicken had great flavor and although there was no crunch to the chicken, it was still very good. Also the fried rice that came with the General Tso's chicken was also very good. Eggroll was Soggy and lacked flavor. Overall I'd say if you got spare time, check it out.

Delicious large portions best Chinese hole in the wall for me so far! Chicken lomein and broccoli under $11! You can really feed two people from what I got or just save it for later lol the cash/cook short guy is always so nice even thru a rush love the service and food!!

USED BAND AID IN MY FOOD.

USED BAND AID IN MY FOOD. Reheated the combination fried rice I ordered yesterday, found something chewy while I was eating. Pulled it out of my mouth and found a USED band aid. Extremely disgusting, never eating from here again.

    Disgusting egg drop soup

This place has the most disgusting egg drop soup I've ever had! It was so thick it was lumpy like partially congealed jello!! The taste was completely off too. Instead of the crispy strips that usually come with Chinese soup, I was sent crunched up tortilla chips. Really?? I don't think it can get any worse than this place!

CRAB RANGOON WITH A PEICE OF A GLOVE INSIDE IT

although the meals are on the cheaper side, with big portions i do appreciate that, but the customer service is absolutely unacceptable. i called in to try to place a togo order. the man asked me if i could hold on, i waited on the phone for 8 minutes, then they simply hung up on me. i called back almost 20 times to receive no answer. when i drove in, there is the same man always working the window, and when i mentioned that he clearly hung up on me he said "okay what do you want"... extremely rude. i was trying to ask if i could get an item without mushrooms and he was extremely short with me and constantly cutting me off to ask me what side i wanted when i hadn't even confirmed that's what i wanted, due to wanting to know if i could remove them because i have an allergy. horrible service. horrible attitude. wouldn't recommend, you can find this type of food anywhere with MUCH better service. *NEW ADDITION* after leaving the restaurant with a bad taste in my mouth already, we got home and i was trying to enjoy my meal with my boyfriend. as we were finishing up he asked me if he could have the last crab rangoon, i of course said yes, when he bit into it THERE WAS A PIECE OF A GLOVE INSIDE HIS CRAB RANGOON.... pictures included. DO NOT EAT HERE

I would definitely go back! The food was good, there was big shrimp in the Happy Family. I wish they had wonton soup. The cashier seemed frazzled, and visibly jittery. It was off putting how fast he was trying to make our transaction. Maybe it was just peak dinner time?

The restaurant is clean and modern with a bright and welcoming aesthetic. The waitperson on staff was incredibly attentive and friendly; she was not confident in her English but my Spanish and her English combined were enough that all of our food (even with change requests) came out exactly as ordered and cooked to perfection. If you don't speak Spanish, don't let this dissuade you, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and knew exactly what my non-Spanish companions wanted without my subpar linguistic assistance. She made fantastic recommendations and accurately told us that everything on the menu was good. The menu had a great variety from shawarma to empanadas. The waitperson was very good about proactively telling us what they were out of (only a couple of things--lasagna and soup). I don't think you can go wrong with anything you can choose. I ordered the Pepito with mushrooms and chicken. It was AMAZING. Perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. My husband ordered a cordon bleu and a fish empanada along with a pizza pastele. Our daughter ordered the Venezuelan take on chicken shawarma. They greatly enjoyed their meals and we all enjoyed the mini empanadas we shared (two pork, two beef, and two chicken is the default). I also savored every drop of my Especial Super Sandys cocktail. The only drawback to this place is it is right next to my work, so I'm going to be constantly ordering from here or hating myself for not doing so. Edited to add: They were open until 11pm on the Tuesday night we went; some places online erroneously state 6pm as closing time.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. They make sure everything comes out right and are happy to help if you have questions about the menu. A graceful 3. I stopped by this place with my daughter for the first time on a random weekday…read more Before I begin, let me just say this: first impressions really are everything. When we walked in, no one greeted us or explained how the ordering process worked. We took our time looking over the menu and were pretty much left to figure things out on our own. To be fair, one employee was checking out customers and another appeared to be preparing food, so I can give a little grace there. After about 3-5 minutes, someone came from the back and politely asked how he could help. I mentioned that it was our first visit, and he instructed us to order our sandwiches with him. After taking our order, he immediately started preparing the sandwiches. Unfortunately, no directions were given about what to do next. We moved over to what appeared to be the sandwich topping station, where another employee was working. He never acknowledged us, and by that point, both the cashier and sandwich prep employee had disappeared to the back. We grabbed a bag of chips and headed toward the register, assuming maybe toppings weren't part of the process. When the cashier eventually returned, she looked at us as if she was wondering why we were standing there. I explained that it was our first time and that we hadn't received any instructions. She quickly apologized and gave us a rundown of how everything worked. As it turned out, our sandwiches were simply waiting to be dressed with toppings. While she was helping us, the employee who had been standing at the topping station the entire time walked off carrying completed sandwiches. I'm assuming he was handling to-go or catering orders, but his lack of acknowledgment made the experience feel a little cold and unwelcoming. Once we got through the ordering process, things improved. The young lady finished our sandwiches, checked us out, and we decided to dine in since the wind outside changed our plans to enjoy the patio. The décor was interesting, with lots of unique things to look at and talk about. We also loved the family feel of the space and the large windows that filled the restaurant with beautiful natural light. The sandwiches did the job and filled us up for lunch. The taste was decent, but I feel like I could have made better choices had I understood the ordering process from the beginning. This feels like a place that's very comfortable for regulars but not necessarily geared toward first-time visitors. Would I return? It's not at the top of my list, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either.
