Had a slow leak in my tire. An employee filed the suit in all four tires and asked me to return the next day to evaluate the extent of the leak. I returned and they found the leak - a medium nail. They pulled it out and plugged up the tire in less than ten minutes. $15 bill. read more

Just want to add an additional point. I just bought new tires from another source and received a tire registration card. I did a bit of research on this as I received no such card from Rich's when I bought tires there. Apparently it is by law that a dealer either register the tires for you or provide a registration card for you to submit. Neither step occurred at Rich's. This is important for safety reasons as the manufacturer needs your contact info should a recall be necessary. Rich's seems great for repairs from all the reviews but I do not recommend them for brand new tires. Between not understanding warranty terms and not properly registering tires this is not service that should be acceptable for new tires. This is especially concerning given I had a blow out with one of my tires. With tires safety is critical and so you cannot overweight the speed and cost aspect of a provider. read more

I had a nail in my tire that needed to be patched up. I found Rich's through Yelp and decided that it would be the best/cheapest place to get it taken care of. First of all the place is hard to find unless you are looking really hard. While the building itself is fairly distinctive, bright yellow, there is a severe lack of signage to let you know you're in the right place. I only found it after driving by two or three times and finally saw the cardboard sign they had nailed to a telephone pole. If I wasn't determined to get my work done at Rich's, I probably would have given up in frustration and gone somewhere else. The office was empty when I got there, and I had to wait a long time before somebody acknowledged me. However, once the guy got started, he was really fast. It took less than ten minutes to get my tire fixed and back on the car. Best off all, it only set me back $10. I'll definitely go back to Rich's for patch jobs and similar work where quick and cheap are the primary concerns, but it wouldn't be my first choice if I needed a new set of tires. read more

I love this place. You don't need an appointment, and they're open 7 to 7 every day. Both times I've gone there, I've showed up after 6pm, and they've put my tires on in about 20 minutes. Sent my son there this morning with a nail in the tire. $15 and 3 minutes and he was in and out and on his way to LA. Cheap, quick, and honest. I don't normally respond to other reviews but "Crystal R" I can't understand why you gave 1 star based on what you wrote. You say you were "ripped off" because one guy quoted $218, the other said $225, and they gave you the lower price. They were "somewhat honest" and told you not to buy two more tires because you still had 25K miles left on the other two. I've been here a few times and yes, it's a bit grimy, not a fancy place. They keep the prices low because the guy works really fast and doesn't chat with customers, so there's no friendly guy in a necktie to ask you how your day is going. Also, to the guy who was charged $25 and asked how you get the $15 price, I may have your answer. I was charged $25 once when I used flat-fixer to re-inflate my tire. The guy explained that it takes extra time to clean the chemical goop off the inside of the tire, hence the extra charge. (BTW some places refuse to patch tires after you've used flat-fixer) read more

Went there after seeing the awesome reviews on Yelp though it was a 7 mile ride from my place. I should say I was not disappointed. I had a big screw that was stuck to my tire. It was a simple plug they put in after pulling out the screw, took just 2 minutes. The technician checked my tire pressure and said I was good to go confirming that the plug should be good until the point that I change my tires. I paid 15 bucks and came home happy. Giving them a four star as it was a simple job. Will remember them for future tire jobs. read more

I recently came here for a tire repair. They quoted me a price of $15 which is fair and proceeded to remove the nail. Instead of removing the tire completely they just plugged the whole. I asked them if they were actually going to patch the tire correctly by removing it and applying the patch to the inside of the tire, and the owner informed me it was $10.00 more for that method. I don't really appreciate the fact that the work details were not communicated clearly before they started working on my tire. I just fixed another tire the week prior at Tire Merchants and they were cheaper and included the correct patch repair for the lower price. I also feel that Tire Merchants was more careful about damaging my wheels, the attendant at Rich's Tire was haphazard when removing and installing my tires and I did notice some marring from this repair. Will not come back, better pricing and service from Tire Merchants. read more
