Or don't offer biscuits and gravy at all if you don't know what the f**k you're doing.

A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. They squeeze in as many tables as they can around the walls while having a long countertop that runs the length of the kitchen. But, with all that said, and with them trying to cram in as many people as possible, it didn't feel too cramped. Only time we really felt the high density was when one of my kids needed to use the restroom and we had to find somewhere to stand and wait for it to become available. Outside of the front of the restaurant, there really is no space to just stand around. The food itself is wonderful. The burgers are no nonsense. They're not trying to be anything other than just a classic diner burger and fries. And that's exactly what I want from a place like this. Nothing is made for Instagram or to chase a trend. This place knows what they're good at because they've been doing it for decades and they don't stray from that. Kitchen staff dropped the ball on multiple fronts tonight but I still have them 4 stars, here's why. I ordered a double smokey burger. This took the longest to arrive, probably 20-25 mins after ordering. It's suppose to come with BBQ ranch sauce but when I bit into the burger, I didn't taste any sweetness as expected of BBQ sauce. Took a second and confirmed, yup no sauce was included. I got in line and waited patiently for the cashier to ask for the sauce. She was very apologetic again and quickly brought a helping of the BBQ ranch sauce to our table. With the sauce this burger is perfection!!! The bacon was perfectly crispy! I mean like crispy chips without being hard. The patty was still piping hot even after we ate half way thru!! Buns were nicely toasted. The rocket, well according to the receipt we ordered the original although we had asked for the rocket. Guess we'll just have to go back another day to try that secret sauce! The original burger comes with mustard, relish, and pickles. Overall I loved it but I think there was too much mustard that made the burger eat very acidic, too acidic for me. Still a banger! There's also brewed tea available. I ran into a kitchen staff when I went to the restroom and found out that the other kitchen cook had actually burned her face somehow today. I don't know if it was earlier or while we were there but that could explain why the heavy delays with our food. I have never walked into a place and not only was the cook in the dining area on his phone and the cashier sleeping on the counter with what I can only assume her boy/girlfriend. They finally acknowledged us and 5-10 min food was ready? And guess who served us lol ? I can't make this stuff up!!! The boy/girlfriend brought us our food lol doesn't even work here just hanging out. I would shut this place down especially after receiving cold food and under cooked,very sad that we still have to pay for high gas to get here and on top get Sh*% service and food in a place that use to be an amazing experience.
