I updated it... Been here have a dozen times the past 6 months. Great pizza but tonight a "Primo" competitor re-entered the mix as Veritas is closed Sundays. Upon review... there can only be one 5 star pizza place so Veritas loses a star tonight. IMO Veritas sauce is too salty and the crust just not as special as this "Primo" one. read more

Did for a second time and think they're worth 5 stars. Now that I know they deliver through Doordash but only up until 5 pm on Friday and Saturday we'll be shifting our pizza night to earlier in the week so we can get their pizza delivered. So much better than local competition we've been using. Love the Garbage Pizza as the balance of veg and meat is just right and they cut the veg smaller so it gets cooked a bit versus large chunks of raw green pepper and onion on competitor versions. Good pizza is easy to find, but excellent pizza... Pizzeria Veritas can do that for you! Legitimately, I have yet to have a bad experience/a bad slice here. The staff rocks, it's clean, they are always friendly, and the food speaks for itself. Anytime family and friends are in town, we always make it a point to hit up this for at least one meal. I highly recommend trying their Margherita Veritas, which has fresh basil they grow themselves or my personal favorite, the Spicy Honey. We'll keep coming back! read more

What a fun little find! It's located in a little strip mall, a nice waitress greeted me for my takeout order, and it was served piping hot! Awesome pizza! 1st time here, did take out. Got the all meat pizza and kids and I loved it! The large was huge, 1 slice took up a whole plate and there was sooo much meat on this thing, in addition to the cheese. Usually places will short you on one or the other but not here. Margarita Pizza with the homegeown basil was delish and we also got the Meatball Parm sub. Very tasty and filling, only ate half. One large. 1 small and a 8" sub totally stuffed a family of 4 and we have half a sub and almost a whole pizza leftover. A little more expensive than usual delivery places but it really is well worth it. Plenty of pizza and super good! Can't wait to go back and try some different toppings! Sad to say that Brooklyn Boy moved out, they will be missed. On the other hand I'm excited to see that the new owners are serving up NY style pizza also. So all is not lost. Once you go in your always greeted like a friend and taken care of fast at fair prices. They deliver the goods. Pizza Veritas caught our attention with their non-traditional pizzas and had to give it a try. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken and garlic knots. The Nashville hot chicken pizza reminded me of Chick-Fil- A nuggets and pickles on a pizza which is a-okay with us! The garlic knots were crispy with a nice glean of butter and garlic on the outside. We saved half the pizza for the next day and reheated well. We are excited to try some of their other flavors like chicken tikka. read more

The sweetness of the bread and butter pickles and the spiciness of the hot sauce goes perfectly together. Also highly recommend the Greek pizza and classic cheese. The chicken tikka pizza was not great. I was expecting there to be stronger flavors coming through but I didn't get that. The margherita needs some work too. The food was good, but like another reviewer said, almost none of the employees were wearing masks (1 of 3 front house people had a mask on - props to her), and they were also not keeping distance from customers. There's a ton of good NY style pizza in the area - Randy's, Salvios, etc. I would suggest visiting one of those places until Pizzeria Veritas starts taking the pandemic seriously. I'll be happy to adjust my rating once ownership gets at least front of the house people following proper mask protocol since it is not only the scientifically smart thing to do, but now the legally required thing to do. However, I think it's important to remember when this is all over which businesses did the right thing even when it was difficult, so the rating is all I'll change. This written review will always reflect that during a time of crisis and, as of right now, 132,000 Americans dead, this restaurant didn't even do the bare minimum to help. read more

This is really good pizza. Ordered it twice already. First time I stopped in to get a cheese pie to try it out. I thought is was delicious. Crust is thin with the right mix of crispy and chewy, right amount of sauce and cheese. Second time I ordered garlic knots, one cheese, one pepperoni and one sausage to feed a crowd. The garlic knots were popular with the kids. The pepperonis are tiny and have a nice spice to them. The sausage is crumbled not sliced which we all liked a lot. I spent a some time chatting with the owner and was really happy with the service. We are happy to have a great pizzeria right around the corner from our neighborhood. I liked the relative "lightness" of the greek pizza, but others in my family preferred the meat pizza.
