Mediterranean pizza- gyro flavor with tizziki sauce side
    Les B.

Stopped in for a to go order. Got a personal sized Mediterranean pizza. Ingredients were that of a gyro. They served it with a side of dipping tizziki sauce. Pizza was small ( for $16) but tasted really good! The side of dipping sauce could only be used for half the pizza and I didn't use a lot on the sides I did do it in. So I think maybe more dipping sauce should be included. Employees were very sweet, helpful, and nice. Waited about 15 minutes on a Saturday evening, didn't feel that long, and came out earlier than originally estimated. They have food specials for most days, uniquely creative meals other than pizza, sodas, no alcohol, and a variety of other food items to choose from. You can sit inside or to go. They have booths which is a nice option as well.

Pizzeria Veritas was my favorite pizza place so this was my first time trying after the name change and it did not disappoint. I love the added connivence of online ordering. They were busy but my food was ready when it said it would be and staff was very nice. Highly recommend the penne alla vodka

I have driven past Rigo's Pizzeria, tucked beside Hero's Car Wash in the Northwest Maynard shopping center, I don't know how many times. This time we found it online on Yelp and made sure to stop in. Inside, the team greeted us like old friends. She guided us through the menu and was super warm and helpful. We started with the large Caesar. Crisp romaine, thick dressing, Parmesan. Large enough for two hungry people and still enough to carry home. Then the slices landed arrived. A garden‑bright veggie wedge, plus two Meat Lovers slices. Our side of garlic bread arrived toasted gold, buttered edge to edge. We had a full dinner for under 40 bucks and had plenty to take back home. Courteous, friendly, and patient with first‑timers, everyone at Rigo's made sure our first visit won't be the last.

I placed my order online, it was very easy to do! I showed up when they said it would be ready and it was! Headed back to for the real test... started off with some GARLIC knots, very good! Now on to the pizzas! We got crazy here! I'm from just outside of Nashville, soooo we tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza, not sure it if I would like a pizza with pickles on it, but.... It was really good! Then we got the Spicy Honey Pizza, loved this one, had a little heat to it. Then we had the Grandmas Pizza, that was Awesome Good! All had great crust and plenty of flavor! If you live in Cary what are you waiting for? Cheers!

Ordered 4 pies today for a family event. Really impressed by the just plain cheese 18" pies and the price!! We will have to check out their other menu items. The godfather caught my eye but I had to stay on task. Anyway, good food and friendly service so I'll be back for more.

Came here last night for pizza with the family. Ordered 2 medium pies and they came out perfect. The undercarriage was superb. No Flop! A great crunchy crust. The cheese on the pizza was also well adhered and did not slip off the pizza when eating. The staff are friendly and helpful. At the end of our meal one of the staff members brought out a delicious Oreo cheesecake for us on the house! What a wonderful gesture. We will definitely be back.

The website says “under new ownership “. I don’t see any gluten free options is this true?

The website is correct...they have changed owners, so I am not sure about the gluten free. I would give them a call just to be sure. I have eaten there once since the change and it was still good.

The pizza was delicious, especially after sprinkling on Parmesan and red pepper flakes!!! Customer service was great for pickup. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles and conversation. A few couples and families were dining in. The restaurant had plenty room and, based on my quick visit, seemed like an ideal place to dine for small parties. I wasn't inside long enough to assess the entire restaurant and determine what space may be available for larger parties.

The pies arrived hot with that signature thin, wood-fired crust that's perfectly crisp on the outside while staying chewy inside. The toppings were fresh and generous, especially the huge chunks of marinated artichokes, which really stood out. The mushrooms, spinach, grape tomatoes, mozzarella, and Pecorino all came together beautifully without weighing the pizza down. I'm super super happy to say that everything that made this place so wonderful seven years ago is still here. The pizza is still spot on, the portions are still huge, and the value for the money can't be beat. The employees were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome when we walked through the door and during our time eating . My notoriously picky son who was not here with us seven years ago loved the pizza so much that he told us that he wants to live here in the restaurant (and I'm not convinced that he's kidding). I don't know when we'll next be in Cary, but as long as Johnny's Pizza is here, they'll have loyal customers in me and my family. The Good & The Bad…read more Honestly, I wanted to give this place four stars, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Got a white pie, maybe 18" basil olives and meatballs Also got 3 large meatballs on the side And a woodford old fashioned The pie was genuinely good. Was it worth $90? Maybe... The only real complaint about the food is it wasn't cut cleanly to the crust. The meatballs were also above average; flavorful throughout. I ate just 2 slices (so far) But I cannot in good conscience recommend for anyone to come here based on my experience. Here's the part that's indefensible. I asked if outdoor seating was open and was told to sit anywhere outside and someone would serve me. After five minutes alone out there, I went back in, and the hostess again assured me someone was coming. Nobody did. I finally hunted down a waitress who didn't know if outdoor seating was even open -- she checked, came back, and told me I'd have to sit inside. Seating a guest is the most basic function of a restaurant, and I was told three different things by three different people. I ended up at the bar, which wasn't gross, but wasn't clean either. Small menu, long waits, and at $90 for one person you expect something closer to a fine experience -- not a rowdy pub with poor service. And that falls on management, not the staff.

Of course, I could drive to local grocery store and get a frozen one and bake it at home.....but I was quite hungry! It took longer getting directions between a Nav and phone sync. Surprisingly, Mezza Luna is actually conveniently located in a short trip! I arrived in person and walked to the counter. I was greeted promptly and the guy was answering 2 phones and taking orders and gave me options based on time and wait for pizza. He did not realize that I was looking for gluten free and got a gentleman to help me. My apologies, as I was a bit overwhelmed and didn't catch his name and how long he said it would be. Regardless, I am a patient person and waited. The gentleman brought the pizza box and handed it to me. The inside restaurant has positioned seating to utilize the space very well. As the clock approaches 5 o'clock, the regular patrons come in and the guy at the counter acknowledges each person even by name. Back to my gluten free pizza.... I did say "thank you, smells amazing " hoping they heard me as this was my first visit. Fortunately, I have self-control and didn't peek until I got home. The plan was to eat half, then reheat other half to determine......besides smelling and seeing the fresh ingredients...no need to add any seasoning! Please don't judge...but I finished it myself! It was quite tasty. Ambiance 4 stars, quaint feels like good gathering spot Customer service 5 stars keep it up Quality 5 stars Quantity 4 stars no leftovers Prices 4 stars for regular (3 stars for gluten free) no deduction Overall 4.5 stars and try again to see if rating is a solid 5. Honestly, I was surprised being able to finish it and how delicious as gluten free is not always easy to make. I forgot to ask about the meatballs..are they only beef? If so, if I call or stop in a day or so in advance, could you consider making 4 meatballs no gluten maybe using cheese instead to taste? I saw hand cut fries...might need to give that a try. ;) No worries about the gluten and sans pork for me too, sorry. If you have a gluten free baguette that would pair well for me or I can pick one up! Thanks....you may see me again soon! Update with pics: disappointed overcooked both crust and cheese!
